RAW

Recap of what happened last week on RAW is shown.

Rusev and Lana are in the ring

Rusev says there will be no Raw tonight until Reigns comes out and apologizes. A loud USA chant breaks out as Rusev continues yelling.
Then Mick Foley's music hits and he comes out to tell Rusev he can't do this. Rusev refuses to leave and says he deserves to be shown respect.

Rusev says Foley isn't the real power and asks for Stephanie to come out, which she does. .
She gets pissed that Rusev says he wants respect, but won't show it to Foley. says if anyone deserves to be respected, it's Foley.
He threatens to defect to SmackDown, which is when Roman Reigns' music hits

Reigns says he found the website where Rusev met Lana and mocks the kind of babies they will have.
Reigns says he doesn't want to wait until SummerSlam and Foley has to get between them. Rusev says this is about his wife's honor, so Foley books them to face each other tonight in a non-title match.


Byron does a quick interview with Sheamus about interfering in Cesaro's match against Rusev last week.


Sheamus vs. Sami Zayn w/ Cesaro on commentary.

Sami Zayn won with the help of the distraction of Cesaro.


Tom Philips interviews Y2J and KO. Both men call Tom by the wrong name while they talk about having each other's backs. KO will face Big Cass tonight in a singles match.


We see Sheamus and Cesaro arguing backstage with a few officials holding them apart. Foley comes in to break it up and yell at them for being unprofessional.
He books them in a Best of Seven Series, beginning at SummerSlam


The New Day vs. Dudley Boyz

Before the match starts, Anderson and Gallows appear on the big screen dressed as doctors mocking Big E's crotch injury.

The New Day won.

Woods and Kofi give a promo saying they will retain while Dr. Gallows and Dr. Anderson watch from the screen



Nia Jax vs. Rachel Levy

Nia Jax won


Lesnar and Heyman make their way out to the ring
Lesnar looks very happy as the crowd chants Suplex City. As Heyman is about to start talking, Heath Slater interrupts.
Heyman says he would never represent Slater, and Slater says that's not what he wants. He says he has been given another opportunity to win a contract if he beats Brock Lesnar tonight.
Slater pleads his case, saying he has a family to support and he would never actually want to face Lesnar if he had a choice.
Brock Lesnar says he can appreciate Slater's position and says he has guts. He says he has kids, too, and he invites Slater into the ring. He says he doesn't give a **** about Slater's kids, and they have to censor him.
He gives Slater the choice of walking out on his own two feet or continuing to stand there and piss him off. Slater looks like he is going to leave, but he turns to attack, only to get taken out by Lesnar.
Slater takes multiple German suplexes before being F-5'd and kicked out of the ring.
After Slater is helped to the back, Heyman gives one of his  promos to hype Lesnar's match with Orton at SummerSlam.



KO vs. Big Cass w/ Enzo Amore and Jericho at ring side.

Jericho takes out Enzo, which leads to Jericho assaulting Big Cass, forcing a DQ.

Big Cass won via DQ
JeriKO team up on Cass and hit him with a superkick/codebreaker combo

Rusev attacks Reigns backstage and ends up throwing him onto a table full of food before Fit Finlay and some officials break it up.



Prime Time Players vs. Shining Stars

Young makes the tag and he lets Titus suplex him onto Primo. He hits a big overhead throw, but ends up getting knocked into Titus, knocking him off the apron.

Titus comes in and hits Young with Clash of the Titus,  ending their short-lived reunion. Primo and Epico pick up the win thanks to Titus

Jinder Mahal vs. Neville


Neville won


Foley is shown telling Stephanie that he got Jon Stewart to be a special guest at SummerSlam. Seth Rollins walks in looking for Finn Balor.
He asks for the night off, but Foley thinks he should call out Balor from the ring before heading home.
Rollins in the ring. He says nobody can stop him from winning the Universal Championship at SummerSlam.
He says Balor won't come to the ring because he is scared. He suddenly gets distracted by something. Appears to be someone trying to come in but security stopped the person.
As Rollins talks, some weird audio starts playing and the lights go out. Then Balor's music hits and out comes the Demon King
Rollins and Balor come face to face as This is Awesome chants ring throughout the arena.
Rollins takes the first swing and they start fighting. Balor hits a running dropkick before the trade Pele kicks. Balor gets the upper hand, but Rollins avoids the double stomp.
Balor chases and hits a dive over the top rope to take him down before rolling back in the ring to celebrate.



Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows vs. Golden Truth


Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson won


The New Day attack Gallows and Anderson from behind.


Charlotte vs. Alicia Fox w/ Sasha Banks on commentary

Charlotte won

Banks comes to the ring for a confrontation when Dana Brooke distracts her so Charlotte can lock her in the Figure Eight.
Charlotte keeps the hold on as long as she can while a pair of refs try to pull them apart.


Rusev vs. Roman Reigns

Reigns and Rusev starts throwing punches before the match even has a chance to start. Rusev turns things around and gets in some big right hands.
Reigns bounces back and hits a boot to the face. Rusev drives Reigns into the barricade and the ring post while the ref continues trying to pull them apart. We go to a break with them still fighting at ringside.

Roman Reigns won. Lana seemed disappointed in Rusev for not defending her honor. Reigns is seen celebrating as RAW goes off air.

Will this be the scene come SummerSlam? Will we see a new United States Champion?
