RAW

Recap of last week on RAW

the show opens with Mick Foley in the ring. Mick talks about Clash of Champions in two weeks.

He brings out Charlotte to discuss the upcoming Women's Championship match against Sasha Banks. She is flanked by Dana Brooke as usual.
Charlotte says she has something to get off her chest tonight. She says an apology is in order, and when Brooke thinks it's about her, Charlotte says she would never apologize to Brooke.
She says Dana caused her to lose to Bayley and made a fool of herself for ending up in the Bank Statement. Brooke says she is sorry, but it seems halfhearted. '
This brings out The Boss.
Before anyone can say anything important, Bayley comes out to join the party.
Bayley thinks she should get a title shot after pinning Charlotte last week, but she seems hesitant to say it. Banks says they go way back, but when it comes to the title, she has no friends.
Brooke suggest Banks and Bayley fight for who should get the title shot and Charlotte tells her to shut up, threatening to slap her again.
Foley books Banks vs. Bayley for a title shot tonight and winner faces Charlotte at Clash of Champions . Charlotte gets pissed at Dana, and Dana slaps the taste out of her mouth.
The crowd chants Yes as Brooke is added to the No. 1 contender's match. The match is next.

Highlight Reel with guest Sami Zayn

After putting over Owens, he brings out Zayn, who he says is at the bottom. Zayn sarcastically thanks him for the introduction.
Sami asks why he is even there, and Jericho asks him why he would blow his friendship with KO.
Zayn says Jericho is a stupid idiot if he believes Owens actually cares about him, and the crowd starts chanting Stupid Idiot at him.
They go back and forth insulting each other until Zayn says Jericho was a big inspiration for he and Owens only to now be Owens' b****.
Jericho takes a cheap shot and hits the Codebreaker on Zayn before leaving the ring.

Cesaro vs. Sheamus in match 5 in the best out of 7 series

Currently 3-1

Cesaro won

Now 3-2

Chris Jericho vs. Sami Zayn is announced for Clash of Champions.

Nia Jax vs. Alicia Fox
No contest.
Jax grabs her by the hair and slings her into the barricade a few times before tossing her aside like she is nothing. She drives Fox through the barricade with a Spear and the ref comes out to check on her.
It looks like the match might be over as a few more officials come out to keep Jax away from Fox while they check on her. Nothing is announced, so it looks like this is declared a no contest.

The New Day head to the ring
Woods talks about how Gallows and Anderson tried to be entertaining last week, and he gets upset because being entertaining is The New Day's thing.
They criticize the Old Day skit from last week, and Kofi even references when Woods was being hypnotized by Bray Wyatt.
As expected, Gallows and Anderson come out.

KO runs into Rollins backstage. Seth says he wants to wish Owens good luck because he wants their title match to stay one on one.

Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns-if roman wins the Universal Championship Match at Clash of Champions becomes a triple threat.
Owens follows up and sends him into the barricade and the steel steps. Seth Rollins attacks Owens from behind and the ref calls for the bell.

KO won by DQ

Foley comes out as officials separate Rollins from Owens. Mick yells at him for not listening to his orders from earlier.
Foley restarts the match.

KO won.
Rusev cost a distraction for reigns which gave the win to KO
Rusev then attacked Reigns, and put him in the accolade, and him standing tall, while Lana looks on from the ramp.

So I am assuming we'll see Reigns vs. Rusev at Clash of Champions? For the US Championship.

I guess will see.

Rating:

50/50

Decent show leading to Clash of Champions. And also, great main event, and backstage moments.
