SmackDown Live

SmackDown opens with a video package showing how the U.S. Title match at Extreme Rules played out. When the show goes live to the arena, Jeff Hardy makes his way to the ring.

Hardy gives a slightly woken promo talking about wanting to win back his U.S. Title. Nakamura pretends to cry backstage after the promo, but then he just laughs at Hardy. They will have a rematch for the title later tonight.

AJ Styles vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas
AJ Styles won

Becky Lynch vs. Mandy Rose
Becky Lynch won
Becky grabs a mic and says winning feels great, but she has been waiting patiently for her chance. She says racking up win after win is just the beginning and she is coming for Carmella's title.

Paige informs Carmella that she’ll be facing Becky Lynch next week and if Becky wins she’ll be defending her title at SummerSlam against Becky.

Samoa Joe vs. Tye Dillinger
Samoa Joe won

The Miz comes out after the break to funeral parlor music dressed all in black with Kane's mask on a pedestal. The ring has a few wreaths and some pictures of Team Hell No. He gives his reality show a shameless plug before talking about Daniel and Kane.

Miz asks for a moment of silence for Team Hell No, but he doesn't get it. The crowd starts a Yes chant instead. The Miz changes from mourning to mocking when he says he predicted Kane and Bryan would fail. Bryan's music hits, but he ends up attacking The Miz from behind. He takes out a few of the guys helping Miz, too. The segment ends with Bryan staring down The Miz from the ring.

Eric Young vs. Xavier Woods
Eric Young won

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jeff Hardy
Randy Orton pulls him out of the ring to cause a DQ. He slam's Jeff's head into the steel steps several times before beating the life out of him at ringside. Hardy tries to fight back, but Orton is too much for him.
Orton tries to rip Jeff's earlobe off in a disturbing scene before throwing him over the announce table. Several producers and officials try to stop the attack, but Orton ends up hitting a brutal DDT on the floor.

The show ends with Orton leaving as everyone tends to Jeff.
