RAW

The show opens with Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar making their way to the ring. Hopefully, this sets up his next title defense. The Beast comes out with a big smile on his face.
Heyman decides to introduce himself to the WWE Universe for the 10,000th time. He says it's his honor to let everyone know his client retained his title at SummerSlam. Heyman claims his conspiracy theory about WWE trying to screw Lesnar out of the title came true last night.
Heyman says Lesnar is too tough for anyone to defeat him and he refused medical attention before returning to the ring to conquer or be conquered. He makes a point to mention how Brock pinned Roman Reigns last night, which is something few people have been able to do clean. Heyman says nobody in WWE or UFC history can match up to his client.
Strowman and Lesnar have a staredown before The Monster Among Men grabs him by the throat. Lesnar breaks free, but he gets levelled by a kick to the face. Braun picks him up and hits two powerslams before holding up the universal title triumphantly. He drops the belt next to Brock before leaving.

Cena says he has been waiting to stand in the same ring as a certain Superstar for a long time. Roman Reigns comes out and Cena says he is exactly who he was looking for. Reigns talks a little trash and asks if Cena is going to run his mouth to his face. As they get ready to square off, The Miz comes out to spoil the fun. Miz mocks the idea of Cena and Reigns being in the ring together being a big deal. He says he is going to make his own moment and criticizes Angle for bringing in Cena while he didn't get to defend his title at SummerSlam.

Cena says The Miz and a partner should battle him and Reigns in the main event. The Miz doesn't like the idea, and then Samoa Joe heads to the ring.
Joe runs down Reigns before taking a cheap shot at Cena. Reigns fights off The Miztourage while Joe puts Cena in the Coquina Clutch. Reigns hits a Superman Punch to break up the hold.

Matt says they want to challenge them to a match and Rollins says he grew up idolizing the Hardys and agrees. A ref runs down as we head to a break
