SmackDown Live

SmackDown opens with the Singh brothers introducing Jinder Mahal.
Mahal talks about how he is constantly being disrespected by American fans. He singles out Shinsuke Nakamura for embarrassing him last week. The Singhs say they are the ones who failed him and apologize to the champion and everyone in India.
The Singhs offer to kiss Mahal's feet as a show of loyalty. Before they can do it, Nakamura's music interrupts. The Singhs try to stand in his way, but he moves past them. He takes the first shot at Mahal, but the Singhs hold his legs while Mahal kicks him in the face. The three beat on him until Randy Orton runs to the ring to make the save.
As Orton attempts to help Nakamura, Rusev comes out of nowhere and takes him out with a bg side kick.

AJ Styles issues an open challenge for the US Title

Tye Dillinger's music hits and he heads to the ring. Baron Corbin stops him and says he is going to be the one to challenge AJ. Dillinger shoves him, so Corbin drives him into the ring apron.

Bobby Roode vs. Mike Kanellis

We were supposed to get Kevin Owens atfer the break, but we return to see Aiden English singing. He is interrupted by Owens' music.

Owens complains about how he picked Corbin to be the ref last week, but Shane came out and stuck his nose in where it didn't belong.
Owens says this would never have happened on Raw. Shane comes out to respond to Owens and says he only came out last week because Corbin wasn't doing a good job. He says this conversation is over and he is tired of hearing KO complain. He tells English to get back in the ring so he can fight Sami Zayn, who makes his way to the ring.

Sami Zayn vs. Aiden English

KO gets off commentary and gets in the ring. He makes the ref give him his shirt and kicks him out of the ring. Zayn sees what's happening and they have an argument. He hits Zayn with a Popup Powerbomb and allows English to cover him for the win.

Aiden English won (apparently) pretty sure it won't be counted lol

After Dolph Ziggler gives a great interview about how he will not be debuting his new look this week because he feels taken for granted.

The two smile at each other, and the two exchange words... but Orton lands a huge RKO out of nowhere! The two will face off against each other in a No. 1 Contender's match next week on SmackDown.

The show ended with Randy Orton getting up on the ropes to pose.

Rating: 80/80
