SmackDown Live

The show opens with a brief video hyping Orton vs. Nakamura. Tom Philips talks about JBL leaving the team and Corey Graves replacing him.

Orton gives a quick promo from backstage talking about how he has seen a lot of people come and go in his career and how he taught Nakamura a lesson last week. Nakamura gives his own promo from a different location.

James Ellsworth is introducing Carmella when Kevin Owens decides to come out and interrupt him.

Kevin Owens demands the ref give him his shirt, but Shane McMahon comes out before he can do anything. They argue about who is responsible for Owens' recent troubles and his lack of respect. KO snaps back and says everything on SmackDown has to be Shane's way. McMahon gets angry when Owens brings up his kids.
Owens says everyone would have been better off had Shane died in the helicopter crash, including his kids. Shane loses it and starts beating the crap out of Owens. Daniel Bryan and several officials finally get him to stop, but the damage has been done and KO is out by the announce table.
Bryan finds Owens backstage struggling to walk and apologizes for Shane's actions. Owens says he is going to sue Shane and everyone in the McMahon family so he can take the whole company down.

Carmella grabs a mic and starts running down Ellsworth. She really digs deep and calls him a genetic defect before questioning how he is even still employed. She calls him a charity case who should have been put up for adoption. She finally dumps him and walks away.

He leaves and comes back to John Cena's music wearing one of his hats and acting like Cena does. He leaves again and comes back using Macho Man's music while he wears a robe and has a woman on his arm

He leaves and comes back a third time to Naomi's music wearing her jacket and wig. He says anyone can be a gimmick, but nobody can do what he does in the ring.

Sami Zayn vs.  Aiden English

Daniel Bryan asks Shane to come to the ring. Shane McMahon eventually comes down and Bryan asks what he was thinking attacking Owens. He reminds Shane about how The Miz used to push him to the brink of attacking him, but he never did it. Shane says he can't help getting upset when someone insults his family.

Bryan says this situation is spiraling out of control and Owens is going to sue everyone. Bryan says he got a call from Vince before the break and
effective immediately, Shane is indefinitely suspended.
