SmackDown Live

SmackDown opens with a video recapping the fight between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens last week.
Owens heads to the ring at the top of the show. He claims he chose not to fight back last week because he respects authority. He says he is suing everyone in WWE until SmackDown is no more. Owens talks about how he will fire Sami Zayn first and criticizes Tom Philips and Byron Saxton for sounding the same on TV. He gets a lot of heat when he says he will cancel Fashion Files.
KO asks for Mr. McMahon to make his way to the ring, but Dolph Ziggler comes out to Shane's music instead. Owens is laughing his butt off. Ziggler says he was just testing out a new entrance and leaves. Then Daniel Bryan's music hits and he comes out.
Bryan says KO doesn't run the show and they exchange a few insults. He says Vince will be arriving soon and Owens won't like what he has to say.

AJ Styles (C) vs. Tye Dillinger for the US Title

AJ Styles won
AJ and Tye shake hands and AJ backs out of the ring but Corbin pulls him to the floor. Corbin launches AJ over the barrier. Tye comes out but Corbin drops him too. Corbin hits AJ with End of Days on the floor. Corbin tells AJ that he will be the opponent for next week's US Title Open Challenge.

Jinder Mahal did come out and did a segment (if you want to call that joke a segment or promo) regarding Shinsuke Nakamura and their fight at HIAC for the WWE Championship.

The Usos (c) vs. The New Day in a Sin City Street Fight for the Tag Team Titles

The New Day won and is the New Tag Team Champions

Natalya (C) vs.  Naomi  for the SDLive Women's Championship w/ Carmella at commentary

Natalya retains the SDLive Women's Championship

Dolph Ziggler is back to tell everyone why entrances don't matter in pro wrestling. He says he is the best ever and doesn't need a flashy entrance, but then he decides to give the people what they want and comes out as Bayley.

He leaves again and comes out with The Ultimate Warrior's music and a mask that looks like his face paint. He complains about tassels and face paint not making someone a star and claims nobody can do what he does in the ring.

The Hype Bros vs. Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin

Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin won
Gable and Benjamin try to shake hands with Ryder and Rawley, but Ryder refuses and walks away

Vince McMahon makes his way to the ring to talk to Owens.

Vince says Owens didn't fight back last week because Shane was beating him up, not because he respects authority. McMahon runs him down for being a coward who would threaten legal action. He says if it goes that far, he will fire KO.
Vince reminds Owens how many times he has been in a lawsuit and how he has never lost. KO says it was wrong for Shane to attack him. Vince says he only suspended his son because he didn't finish the job by taking out Owens' liver and showing it to him. Vince says Owens will face Shane inside Hell in a Cell instead of a lawsuit.
KO asks for Vince's word that he won't be fired after he destroys Shane and Vince agrees. They shake hands and have some tense words. Then Owens headbutts Vince hard enough to make him bleed. Vince gets back to his feet and takes a swing, but Owens knocks him
right back down. An official tries to get Owens to leave, but he ends up kicking Vince in the gut. He superkicks McMahon before heading to the top rope. Adam Pearce runs to the ring and tells him to get down, but he still hits a Frog Splash on Vince anyways.
Stephanie comes out and yells at Owens before going to help her father.

The show ends with Vince being helped to the back while he complains about his ribs hurting.

Rating: 90/90

Pretty awesome show and matches leading us toward HIAC!
