SmackDown Live

SmackDown opens with a recap of the Styles vs. Nakamura up to this point. Renee Young is in the ring and welcomes Daniel Bryan to the ring to loud Yes chants. Daniel Bryan talks about wanting to win the WWE Title but he’s interrupted by Big Cass. He brags about beating up Bryan at Backlash and conveniently leaves out how he tapped out to Bryan. He says it is his goal to make sure Bryan never achieves anything in WWE ever again. This leads to a brawl and takes out the knee of Cass. Bryan applies a submission and tightens it as officials and referees break it up and fans chant "yes!" as Cass is helped to the back.
