SmackDown Live

SmackDown opens with Renee Young welcoming Becky Lynch to the ring for an interview.

Becky talks about how long it has been since she held the title and how it drives her to win even more. Carmella comes out and says she isn't here to make excuses for losing last week and seems sincere, at least at first.

Carmella says she realized they are going to be part of the first all women's PPV together. She says she has always been a little jealous of Becky and was told she would only ever be a manager in NXT. She thanks Lynch for being there for her to give advice and inspire her.

She cries a little when talking about the way people talk about her on social media. The crowd doesn't seem to feel any sympathy for her. She says she is excited to face Lynch at SummerSlam so they can tear the house down together. Mella wishes Becky good luck and offers her hand. Before Lynch can do anything, James Ellsworth's music hits. Becky gets distracted and Carmella attacks her from behind. She grabs a steel chair and brings it in the ring.

Charlotte returns to make the save for her friend. She knocks the chair out of Carmella's hands and sends her running with her title.

The Usos vs. Sheamus and Cesaro
Sheamus and Cesaro won
The New Day and The Bar get into an argument, but it doesn't turn physical.

Samoa Joe comes out and says he respects AJ, the house he has built and how he has made the WWE title the most prestigious in WWE. He also respects how much AJ puts into his performances, but he says it became more important to Styles than his own family.
Joe says Styles loves the business more than he loves his own wife and kids. The promo ends with Joe dropping the mic and leaving.

Jeff Hardy comes out after the break to address the situation with Randy Orton. He vows to get the U.S. title back after he beats Orton. He calls Randy out to the ring for a fight.

As Orton prepares to get in the ring, Nakamura attacks Hardy from behind. He gets ready to hit the Kinshasa, but Orton gets in his way and stares him back to the corner. Then he tells him to do it and Shinsuke hits Hardy with the Kinshasa. Orton gets in his face and makes him leave the ring. Randy lines up for the RKO, but then he just trips him and stomps on all of his limbs.

Orton brings Hardy out of the ring and beats him up on top of the announce table. He rips the armbands off of his arms and his shirt off his chest. He pulls Jeff's necklace off and puts it in his pocket. Orton dumps a bottle of water on Jeff's face to wake him up just so he can beat him up some more. He wipes the paint from his face before finally leaving.

Lana vs. Zelina Vega
Zelina Vega won

Daniel Bryan comes out to the ring and gets on the mic. Bryan talks about his love for his wife, and how proud he is of the upcoming all women’s pay-per-view. Bryan changes the subject to last week’s incident with The Miz, where Miz threw a baby doll at him pretending it was real. Bryan says The Miz never thought Bryan would be medically cleared again, but he is, and now The Miz has no protection from him. Bryan says Miz knows in a fair fight he would destroy him, and if he’s wrong, The Miz should come out and prove it.
The Miz comes on the big screen and says he isn't there tonight because he is filming his show. He tells Bryan he has to earn the right to face him. Miz claims he has carried Bryan for 10 years and takes credit for making him famous. Bryan says he doesn't care about fame.
Bryan says Miz will never be The Rock or John Cena when it comes to Hollywood and nobody will ever remember him as a great wrestler because he is too soft. Bryan says if Miz needs a big stage then he should talk to his agent and come fight Bryan one-on-one at SummerSlam. Miz tells Bryan he should just let his contract expire and go wrestle in high school gyms because the Yes Movement is over. He says, All these people, they look at you, and all they see is one thing... WAH, WAH WAH - We see a bunch of photos of babies on the big screen and cries through the arena as Bryan watches.

Carmella vs. Charlotte - if Charlotte wins she’ll be added to the title match at SummerSlam.
Charlotte won and now Charlotte is added to the SmackDown Live Women’s Title Match at SummerSlam. Now it’s a Triple Threat.
