SmackDown Live

SmackDown opens with a video montage of SmackDown's most memorable moments.

We go live to the arena to see R-Truth and Carmella in the ring for the second episode of TruthTV. He seems to think his show has been on for years. He immediately calls for a dance break.

After a second dance break, Truth brings out Stephanie McMahon, who gets a lot of heat from the crowd. She gives Truth and Mella a hug before taking the mic and sitting down. She recalls being the first GM of SmackDown back in the day. Before Truth can ask his first question, Shane McMahon's music hits and he comes out to a big pop.

Shane welcomes Stephanie to the A show and she tries to say Raw is still the best show because it wouldn't have started with TruthTV. The crowd begins chanting for TruthTV. Vince McMahon's music hits and he comes out looking happy.

Stephanie takes a crack at her dad by saying he has a hearing aid. Vince calls for a dance break and gets down with everyone to end the segment.

AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan vs. The Usos
The Usos won

After the break, Batista, Randy Orton, Triple H and Ric Flair come to the ring for their big reunion.
Triple H says SmackDown lasted 1000 episodes because it has continued to evolve over time. Orton takes the mic and rips all three members of the group while saying he has continued busting his butt in the ring.
Batista brings up some of the nicknames the WWE Universe has given him, but he says he has and always will love the fans. He puts over everyone in the group, but he makes sure to mention that Triple H has never beaten him in the ring. The Game gets a little angry but they eventually hug it out.

Rusev vs. The Miz - World Cup Qualifying Match
The Miz won and qualifies for WWE World Cup thanks to the involvement from Aiden English.
The Bulgarian Brute goes after him and starts absolutely destroying him at ringside, but the camera cuts backstage to Edge talking to Curt Hawkins before the fight is over.

After the break, The Rated R Superstar heads to the ring for The Cutting Edge.
Edge says he sees a lot of similarities between himself and Becky and she says he was an inspiration to her. He says he knows what she is going through because he wasn't supposed to be a main eventer. He had to scratch and claw to earn what he had just like Becky, but he also knows what seems like the right choice at the time can end up being wrong in the end.
Edge says if Becky keeps going down the same road he did, she is going to end up all alone with her title belts not liking herself. She says she doesn't like herself because she loves herself. She tells him to get out of her ring and to be careful not hurting his neck as he goes through the ropes. Charlotte's music hits and she comes to the ring.
The Queen tackles Becky n the ring and they start brawling. A few officials run down to break them up.

New Day (c) vs. The Bar for the SDLive Tag Team Titles

Rey Mysterio vs. Shinsuke Nakamura - WWE World Cup Qualifying Match
Rey Mysterio won and qualifies for WWE World Cup

As Mysterio celebrates his win, the lights go out and The Undertaker's music begins to play.
The mere mention of the name Crown Jewel gets some heat, but Taker says he has three words for DX and that is Rest In Peace

SmackDown ends with Taker doing his signature pose on the stage.
