SmackDown Live

The New Day come out to open the show with Kofi Kingston's WWE Championship celebration. There is a balloon arch over the ring, blue carpet and some other decorations, including some pancakes on the ring posts. The crowd chants "You deserve it" before anyone has a chance to talk. Woods says meeting Kofi for the first time when he was hired was like meeting a hero. Big E talks about the bond they share and how they have tried to reshape culture and change history. Kofi thanks his family at ringside and says they inspire him to be the best he can be. The Bar's music hits and they walk to the ring. They say Kofi owes them a Thank You for saving his title reign last night because Rollins would have beaten him.

For some reason, Samoa Joe comes out to the ring. Truth and Joe start fighting and Truth gets the upper hand for a moment before Joe locks him in the Coquina Clutch. He throws Truth out of the ring and demands a mic. He brags about beating Rey in less than a minute at WrestleMania. Braun Strowman's music hits and he marches to the ring.

Joe and Braun start fighting. Joe gets him down to one knee with a sleeper, but Braun backs him to the corner to break the hold. He scoops up Joe for a powerslam, but Joe breaks free and runs away.

Shane says Miz's dad deserved everything he got at WrestleMania and now they know he is truly the best in the world. The crowd chants CM Punk's name and Shane just says "Please" in a sarcastic way. He brings Greg Hamilton into the ring to criticize his introduction. Greg says he was threatened by some fans that if he called Shane the best in the world, something bad would happen to him.

Shane drags Greg out of the ring by his tie while making him keep trying to introduce him properly. He finally does an intro Shane is happy with and Shane sends him back to the ring.

As she poses with both belts on the stage, Evans comes out and attacks her from behind with a big right hand.
