Drew McIntyre opens the show.

Drew McIntyre says that he knows that Randy Orton wanted to do a lot to him, but only fractured his jaw, and he is back. 

Drew says that the medical personnel told him to take time off, because he has a non-displaces fracture. However, if he gets hit in the wrong way he could have a displaced fracture and he would have to have his jaw wired shut. As a result, he was told to forfeit the title, but he said no. He said that he would be appearing and facing Randy. 

Drew McIntyre then goes on to announce that he has to face Randy Orton in an Ambulance Match at Clash of Champions. 

Adam Pearce comes out and announces that in case Randy Orton would not be able to compete at Clash of Champions and if Keith Lee can compete tonight, then he gets a match against Drew McIntyre at COC.

Cedric says that he is at his job and he has no friends here. This is his place of business.

He is interrupted by Ricochet and Apollo Crews. They call out Cedric for his betrayal.

Everything goes dark in the ring after the win, and Retribution appear on the Titantron. They say that they know what they are and that they are here to change RAW. They say WWE is corrupt and that their time in the Performance Center is not going to lead them to fame, they will show who they are. There are a lot of members, with masked members popping up on the screen. 

Asuka (c) vs. Mickie James for the RAW Women’s Championship 

The referee says that Mickie can no longer continue. The match goes to Asuka. 

Did Mickie get hurt at some point of the match?

Zelina Vega is out now and says that she has been thinking about her future now.

Seth Rollins attacks Buddy Murphy after the match.

Drew McIntyre and Keith Lee argue backstage and then the two start to brawl.

Keith sends McIntyre into the packing boxes. The two will face each other in the ring later in the night. 

Kevin Owens vs. Aleister Black

The Riott Squad vs. Natalya and Lana

The Riott Squad won

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler attack Natalya and Lana after the match.

Drew McIntyre vs. Keith Lee 

Out of nowhere, Retribution attack and take out both Lee and McIntyre. 

There are at least 11 members in the ring as they beat down both McIntyre and Lee and then stand tall over them. 

There's no stopping them. 

The Hurt Business had volunteered for security and they make their way out to confront them. 

All four men go down and star to fight. They are overwhelmingly outnumbered, but they are not backing down. They all fight against Retribution and are joined by Lee and McIntyre who hit dual flying dives out of the ring to flatten everyone.

They are the last ones standing tall. 

I vote for an triple threat for the WWE Championship at WWE Clash between McIntyre, Lee & Orton in an Ambulance Match. Of course, unless Orton is unable to complete.

Paul Heyman saying that "he" Roman Reigns brought him back, not the other way around.

Roman says "send them in and I'll feed on them" and "this is my island." 

Heavy Machinery vs. Miz and John Morrison

Backstage, Big E has a cake for Xavier Woods, who is returning tonight and will be hosting Talking Smack. Sadly, he's not back from injury just yet. A security guard tells E that Woods has arrived, and when E goes to the parking lot to greet him with the cake, he's blindsided by Sheamus. 

Nia Jax and Shayna (c) vs. Bayley and Sasha Banks for the Women Tag Titles 

Nia Jax & Jax won and retains the Women’s Tag Team Titles

After the match, the medical team checks on Sasha and tries to gingerly get her to her feet while Bayley looks on with tears in her eyes. 

Back from the break, Banks is still getting help from the ring crew. Banks shoves everyone away, but Bayley comes in and says she'll take care of her. Bayley helps Banks to the apron, but then attacks her! 

Bayley bounces Sasha's knee off the steps and stomps it out before bouncing her off the barricade again. Bayley brings her in the ring for some more punishment. Bayley seems to blame Michael Cole for what she's doing, as Cole planted seeds of doubt for nearly a year in their friendship. 

Bayley says Banks deserves all of this, before continuing the attack on the knee, this time with a steel chair.

Sami Zayn came out.

Sami Zayn demands that he gets treated correctly, and wants to be called "Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn." 

Jeff Hardy comes out, claiming that he would've given Sami Zayn a shot at the IC Championship if he'd just asked. Sami says that's impossible, because he's the Intercontinental Champion. AJ Styles, a man with no leg to stand on, comes to the ring and claims that he's the champ. 

Styles attacks Hardy, and Zayn thinks he'll join in on it, but Styles kicks him in the neck. Hardy stops a Styles Clash, dropping Styles with the Twist of Fate. Zayn pushes Hardy into the corner and hits the Helluva Kick, walking away as the lone IC Champion standing. 

Baron Corbin vs. Matt Riddle vs. Jey Uso vs. Sheamus in a Fatal 4 Way

Jey Uso won and will be facing Roman Reigns at Clash of Champions

After the commentators run down the lineup for the night, The New Day heads to the ring for the six-man match against Randy Orton and The Revival.

The New Day won 

Brock Lesnar's music hits and he comes out on the stage. He walks to the ring with Heyman by his side. Kofi sends Woods and Big E out so he can face The Beast by himself. Heyman does his usual intro for Lesnar and himself. He says Brock is what stands in the way of the longevity of Kingston's title reign. He officially challenges Kofi to a title match on the debut episode of SmackDown on Fox.

Brock grabs Kofi and hits an F-5 after the champion accepts his challenge.

Erick Rowan gives an intense interview with Michael Cole. He says he is a leader, not a follower. He says he is smarter than Daniel Bryan and nobody will ever disrespect him again.

Ali vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

The match between Nakamura and Ali never happened since Shinsuke and Sami attacked Ali. We also see Kevin Owens being seated in the crowd and Shane McMahon being served with a lawsuit backstage.

Shane comes to the ring with a group of security guards after the break. He stares at KO as Greg Hamilton does his introduction. He invites Owens into the ring to talk about the lawsuit. He reveals Owens has filed the largest wrongful termination suit in history. He says KO would get $25 million if he were to win. Owens tells him to shut up and explains his case.

Owens lays out his case and says he knows he can hurt Shane by going after his wallet and his pride. KO says Shane didn't read the lawsuit very well because it also says if he wins, he gets to come back and Shane gets fired.

Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks

After a failed distraction from Bayley, Flair locks in the Figure Four. Bayley attacks her to cause a disqualification.

Baron Corbin comes out after the break to be crowned King of the Ring. He revels as someone places a cape and crown on him. He invites Chad Gable to the ring.

Corbin makes some more short jokes, so Gable tackles him and breaks the throne. He breaks the scepter over Corbin's body and rips his cape. Corbin retreats as Gable breaks all his stuff.



Heavy Machinery vs. The B Team

Daniel Bryan comes out to talk about how Rowan betrayed him. He says he treated Rowan as a friend and equal when they won the titles. Rowan comes out and says he is sick of hearing Bryan talk about being equals.

Rowan says Bryan tried to turn him into a puppet just like everyone else. He says Bryan disrespected him and Bryan tells him to do something about it because there is nothing, he can do that is worse than lying and breaking their friendship. Harper attacks Bryan from behind and they proceed to tear Bryan apart. Roman Reigns' music hits and he heads to the ring.

Harper and Rowan eventually get the upper hand and powerbomb Reigns into the ring post. They expose some of the concrete floor before they have to beat up several security guards. Rowan breaks off part of the barricade and uses it as a weapon to hit Roman. He and Harper clean off the announce table and put Bryan through it with a double slam. SmackDown ends with Harper and Rowan standing over the bodies of Reigns and Bryan.

Seth Rollins comes out to open RAW

Rollins talks about his match against Strowman last night at WWE Clash and being attacked by The Fiend.

Bray Wyatt appears on the big screen for a new Firefly FunHouse and Bray let’s Seth know that “friends forgive but he never forgets” Also, The Fiend might have “more to say” to Seth tonight. 

Bray gives Seth an evil stare before breaking into laughter, a wave, and a “see you in hell!”

The new Raw Tag Team Champions Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler are here, apparently to have a "Tag Team Summit" with the new SmackDown tag team champions The Revival.

As Robert Roode tells the world that nobody - not even Michael Cole, for some reason could believe that he and Ziggler could win the Raw tag team belts, Braun hits the ring just as he promised and begins to beat everybody up.

Roode, who has a match with Seth Rollins later tonight, manages to get away.

The OC vs. Cedric Alexander and The Viking Raiders 

AJ hits the Phenomenal Forearm for the pin and the win. He starts attacking Cedric Alexander after the match until The Viking Raiders scare him off. Anderson and Gallows fight Erik and Ivar out of the ring. Cedric trips AJ on the top turnbuckle and climbs up to fight him. Cedric goes for a hurricanrana but AJ turns it into a super Styles Clash.

Baron Corbin vs. Chad Gable (KOTR Finals)

Baron Corbin won and is the King of The Ring.

Maria reveals she is having a boy during her gender reveal party. She just announces it. There is no special way of revealing it. She tells Mike that Ricochet is actually the father of her child. Ricochet says he has never touched her but Mike slaps him and challenges him to a fight in the ring.

We return to Maria yelling at Mike Kanellis for not being a man. She says the real father of her baby is Rusev. Mike says he doesn't care anymore and tries to leave. Rusev runs him over with a clothesline while Maria watches from the stage.

Banks grabs a chair after the match, but Becky runs down with her own. Bayley picks up another, but Charlotte comes down to even the odds. The Queen takes out Bayley at ringside and The Man nails Banks with a chair in the ring.

Kane is shown arriving at the arena with Truth hiding on top of his car. Truth rolls him up to regain the 24/7 Title.

Becky Lynch responds to Sasha Banks' challenge and basically, she accepts on the condition that they're match at Hell in A Cell is inside Hell in A Cell.

Ziggler stops the pin and causes a DQ. Rollins fights back until The OC runs down to help the Raw Tag Team Champions.

Kane's music hits and The Big Red Monster makes his way to the ring to make the save for Rollins. He singlehandedly takes out everyone. As he prepares to hit his pyro, the lights go out. Bray Wyatt appears in the ring behind Kane and puts him in the Mandible Claw. The Fiend sets his sights on Rollins and crawls toward him. Seth is scared stupid as Wyatt laughs in his face to end the show.

SmackDown opens with The Undertaker coming out.

The crowd chants Taker's name for a long time before he finally speaks. He says he wanted to take a minute to absorb the crowd's response. He talks about how he has considered MSG his home for 30 years and he doesn't know how many times he will be able to visit in the future. For some reason, Sami Zayn decides this is a good time to make an appearance.

Zayn puts over The Undertaker and says he has nothing but respect for him. However, he doesn't think Taker should have opened the show over him. He asks Taker when enough is enough after 30 years. Zayn says he is the future of WWE and the crowd tells him he sucks. He asks Taker to leave the ring, but he does it respectfully.

Taker acts like he is going to do what Zayn said but then he turns around and grabs him for a chokeslam. The segment ends with Taker leaving as his music plays.

Shane tells Owens he is thinking about getting rid of his 100K fine if he is willing to be the ref in his KOTR match against Gable tonight. Shane implies the fine will go away if he helps Shane win.

Rowan is in the ring and says nobody truly understands him and thinks someone else has been controlling him. He says everyone should look into his eyes to see what he is capable of. Reigns music hits and he marches his way to the ring. He hits a Superman Punch as soon as he gets into the ring. He runs around the ring for a Spear but Rowan kicks him in the face. They take the fight into the crowd.
Roman hits a second Superman Punch before a bunch of officials come down to separate them. Reigns nails one more. Rowan picks up a fan who was planted there and throws him into Reigns from over the barricade. Reigns and Rowan continue to fight up to the stage. Rowan grabs the camera crane and throws it into Reigns.

 

Bayley vs. Ember Moon

Kofi Kingston heads to the ring after the break. Kofi talks about his feud with Randy Orton before The Viper appears in the crowd to taunt him.
Kofi heads into the crowd and they get into a fight. Orton hits him with a chair and it is revealed to be a trap. He beats Kingston down with the chair before throwing him into the side of the stage. He puts Kofi on a table for a DDT but Kofi counters and starts pounding on him. Kofi grabs the chair and hits Randy a few times. The champ sets up a table. Orton tries to hit him with a chair but Kofi blocks. Kingston breaks the table on accident, so he grabs a second table and puts Orton on it. He climbs up into the crowd and leaps off to put Orton through the table just like he did 10 years ago.

Chad Gable vs. Shane McMahon (KOTR Semifinals) - w/ Owens as special guest referee.

Gable hits the rolling German suplex and Owens makes the count to give him the win. Shane grabs a mic and says the match is now two out of three falls.

Gable grabs Shane and puts him in an ankle lock. Shane taps and Gable gets the win to advance to the finals.

Shane attacks Owens after the match and then says he is fired.

RAW

Raw opens with Steve Austin heading to the ring to a huge ovation.

Austin talks about how it has been 20 years since he was in Madison Square Garden. He reminisces about the old days and tells a story about facing Bret Hart. He also says the first time he hit Vince McMahon with a Stunner was in MSG.

Rollins does a little posturing before they get to signing on the dotted line. Seth embraces the What chants and goes along with them. Rollins promises he won't stab Strowman in the back in their tag title match on Sunday. He picks up the pen and signs. Braun says he likes being the tag champs and won't turn on Rollins, but he also wants to be the universal champion. The OC's music hits and they come out on the stage.

The crowd gives Styles a lot of heat and Austin repeats the unkind words they were calling AJ. The OC gets in the ring and continues to talk trash. Stone Cold moves the table out of the way so Rollins and Strowman can rush The OC and send them packing. It ends with Styles taking a Stunner from Austin.

Cedric Alexander vs. AJ Styles

Anderson interferes to cause a DQ before he can capitalize. He and Gallows begin beating Alexander into the ground before The Viking Raiders come out to make the save. They destroy The OC while Alexander recovers on the apron. Cedric hits AJ with a dropkick before Anderson takes The Viking Experience.

Roman Reigns comes out after the break to talk about his fight with cancer and visiting so many young patients recently. He brings out several young New York residents suffering from cancer to take the stage.
