SmackDown

SmackDown opens up with an recap of the Men’s and Women’s MITB Ladder Match

SmackDown kicked off with Miz & Morrison hosting MizTv and Otis was the guest.

Miz and Morrison showed off childhood photos of Otis while making fun of his appearance and learning disability before Miz just gave up and called him an unworthy Mr. Money in the Bank.

Miz challenged Otis to a tag team match and asked him to find a partner as it turned out that Tucker was not gonna be able to make it to SmackDown

We found out earlier in the week that Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn was not going to be able to compete for a while and his title was being put on the line in a tournament.

Dana Brooke won

Charlotte came out and started talking about her accomplishments before Bayley & Sasha Banks interrupted her. They had some banter about how Bayley had to change her persona to beat her and Bayley tried to kick her out of SmackDown.

Charlotte said Banks was the only reason Bayley was champion for so long before Charlotte called Sasha 'Bayley's lackey' and walked out.

Otis & Braun Strowman vs. Miz & Morrison

Otis & Braun Strowman won

Mandy Rose came out after the match and Otis sneaked up on Strowman, later saying that it was 'only for laughs' as he got caught by the Universal Champion. All three Superstars celebrated inside the ring to close the night on SmackDown.

The two are about to have their match, but suddenly, they are interrupted by Bobby Lashley, 
Lashley tells MVP to go away, and it appears we have Bobby Lashley vs R-Truth now.

SmackDown

SmackDown kicked off with Mandy Rose who was backstage, getting ready for her match with Sonya Deville.

King Corbin was being interviewed about the upcoming six-man tag match on SmackDown. Daniel Bryan and Drew Gulak had a mystery tag team partner but Corbin wasn't worried about it. He was more focused on becoming the second man to win the Money in the Bank match twice.


Jeff Hardy was back and being interviewed by Renee Young as Sheamus mocked him from backstage on SmackDown. Hardy was wondering where Sheamus was before he walked out to call Jeff an 'adrenaline junkie' and said that no one cared about him anymore. They argued for a bit about which of them was the washed-up star before Sheamus ran to the ring, only to eat a Twist of Fate and the Swanton Bomb.


Braun Strowman was out and asked Bray Wyatt to stop playing games and talk to him face to face on SmackDown. Wyatt came out and said that Braun owed him an apology before demanding that he was Strowman's creator and asked him to come home. Wyatt wanted to relieve him of the title before saying that their journey was 'just beginning'. Wyatt held out Braun's old mask but Strowman said that he was already home and left.


Tamina & Lacey Evans vs. Sasha Banks & Bayley

The hooded Mysterious Hacker returned and sent another message to the entire roster on SmackDown. At the end, a voice note revealed that payback is coming.


King Corbin, Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro vs. Daniel Bryan, Otis & Drew Gulak

Corbin, Nakamura and Cesaro won

After the match, the heels tried to attack Gulak but Otis and Bryan sent them over the barricade and into the seats. Corbin was left alone and he set up a ladder and went for the briefcase. Daniel Bryan came out but was sent into the ladder before Otis came out and Corbin eventually cleared the ring.

The show ended with Corbin climbing the ladder and grabbing the briefcase.

RAW

WWE RAW starts with a recap of Murphy coming out to attack Drew McIntyre only to be taken out by the WWE Champion. 

MVP opens the show of RAW this week as he is out with the VIP Lounge.

He invites out the Women's Money in the Bank competitors, and shows a recap of what happened the last time Asuka, Nia Jax, and Shayna Baszler was in the ring together.

Nia claims she is relentless and has destroyed everyone she has faced. Asuka calls her a bully for having attacked and hurt Kairi in the way that she did. 

Shayna Baszler says she will show her ability with her action at Money in the Bank. Asuka and Baszler face off with each other and then together kick out Nia Jax from the ring. 


Gauntlet Match  

AJ Styles won the Last Chance Gauntlet Match and is heading to Money in the Bank.

Styles says that he is not a zombie and unlike the last time, there's no Undertaker to stop him this time. He said that he did not lose the Boneyard Match as there were no rules in a Boneyard match.

The Street Profits vs. The Viking Raiders

Aleister Black did not like to be threatened by AJ Styles.

In a promo, he asks AJ to be humble and explain what it felt like to be buried in the darkness. He says that AJ should pray that he does not get back up if AJ manages to throw him off the building. He says if that happens, AJ will be buried deeper than 6 feet.

Charlotte is out now and she talks about how she will teach a lesson to Io Shirai, when she is interrupted by Liv Morgan.

Rollins and McIntyre face off as Seth stands on the apron and McIntyre urges him to get in. Seth only sneers, but does not get in and runs up the ramp.

Drew looks away and Rollins comes in and hits the Superkick out of nowhere, attacking him from behind.

Rollins holds up the WWE Championship. It's clear what he wants. Rollins foes for the stomp, but is caught by McIntyre who hits the Glasgow Kiss. He tries the Claymore, but Seth retreats.

SmackDown


Bryan picks up a mic and says he loves this business, that's no secret. He also loves trying new things, which is why he can't wait to take part in the most experimental MITB match of all time. 

Bryan was hoping that Drew Gulak, his coach and new best friend, would join him in the MITB match in nine days. However, thanks to King Corbin, Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro, he was cheated out of that opportunity. Because of that, Bryan wants the King's head. 

Corbin claims that he'll be the King of MITB on May 10th, but Bryan reminds him that he's one of only four people to lose their cash in.

The Black Sheep 

Wyatt's story is about a strong, smelly black sheep who was taken in by a caring, passionate and incredibly muscular shepherd.

Though the shepherd was kind to his black sheep and all of his other animals, they all left him in search of greener pastures. After that, apparently, the Illuminati and the lizard people took his land.

Wyatt tries to rewrite the ending, but is cut off by the Universal Champion, who demands his challenger come say whatever he wants to say to his face. Wyatt ponders it for a moment before waving the camera off.

RAW

WWE RAW starts with MVP and introduces his guest to the show and a participant in the WWE Money in the Bank match, Rey Mysterio. He also brings out Aleister Back and Apollo Crews.

They are interrupted by Zelina Vega, who comes out with Andrade, Angel Garza, and Austin Theory. She says that those three men were the future of Monday Night RAW. 

She asks the three in the ring to show they can do what's best or Monday Night RAW, and take their place in the Money in the Bank Ladder match. 

Black, Crews, and Mysterio empty the ring.

Jerry 'The King' Lawler introduces Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins. 

He also talks about the Corporate Money in the Bank Ladder Match, which is the most unique version of the match in recent memory.

McIntyre advises Jerry The King Lawler to leave the ring.. He signs the contract and urges Seth Rollins to do the same.

Seth Rollins says he never wanted to do this, but he had to do this because he needed to get the WWE Championship to where it needed to be. He says that Drew is not a leader.

Seth points out that he is the leader, and that the WWE Universe needs someone to guide them, and that has to be him. The light in the darkness.

Drew pretends to be inspired by Seth's speech, and says that Seth is actually full of shit. 

He then says that nothing Seth ever did was Seth's fault. He did not care what was going on in Seth's head, but he knew that he would not let Seth win the title, no matter what.

He promises Seth that he will finish him at Money in the Bank.

Seth signs the contract, and begins to say something else, but Drew bounces him off the table and hits him with the Glasgow Kiss.

He goes for the Countdown Claymore, but Murphy attacks out of nowhere.

Murphy picks Seth up, but ends up taking the Claymore for his troubles, as Seth manages to make his escape.

The show ends with McIntyre and Rollins staring at each other.

SmackDown

The New Day opens SmackDown 

Kofi Kingston gives all the glory and praise to Big E, the man that single-handedly won the gold last week in a triple threat match.

Lucha House Party challenge the champs, but are pushed aside by The Miz and John Morrison. Miz & Morrison are upset at the fact that they lost the belts in a triple threat, not an actual tag team match. 

According to The Miz, they're the reason that the tag team division has been elevated to the point it is. They demand their rematch tonight but are cut off by Gran Metalik. John Morrison gives Miz a "translation" of what was said. 

The Forgotten Sons come out.

The Forgotten Sons manage to come out on top in a nine-man brawl, ending the segment by powerbombing Kofi through Big E.

Triple H said he can’t believe it has been 25 Years.

Michaels is here to support the night with his best friend. He even sent out hundreds of invitations to his friends and loved ones, stating that "we're all here for you."

"I think they're required to be here for the show." -HBK

Shawn Michaels asks Triple H about his own 25th Anniversary show, asking what his favorite moment was. He couldn't pick one because Shawn Michaels never had one!

HBK has a D-X "Not so Greatest Moments" video package.

HBK has another video to show, revealing that HHH has over a dozen losses at WrestleMania.

Michaels blames Stephanie for turning HHH into a no-fun all business bore. Steph calls in the middle of it, but HHH hangs up on her.

Flair calls as well, cutting some jokes with both HHH and HBK before crying. HHH hangs up, but Flair calls back to keep crying.

Road Dogg is on the phone insulting his hair cut and dyed beard.

Vince McMahon comes out.

 Vince congratulates The Game on his 25 years, and would love to give him a big bear hug, but can't because of the circumstances.

Vince calls Trips and Shawn boring.

Vince and HHH say that they love each other before Vince continues to tear into his son-in-law.

Vince leaves and cuts all the lights off, ending the segment a few minutes early.

Drew McIntyre opens the show.

Drew McIntyre says that unlike what he has heard, it's not lonely at the top. He talks about how Seth Rollins attacked him. He says he knows that he respects Seth because he knows exactly how good he is. 

‪He said he's ready to face Seth at Money in the Bank to defend his title and issues the challenge. 
He gets interrupted by Garza and Theory, with Zelina Vega. 

While the three talk to him and distract him, Andrade attacks him from behind, but the attack does not last long. He gets caught with a Claymore. 

Zelina tries to force Austin Theory and Garza to help but they seem to be afraid and then McIntyre hits Andrade with another Claymore.
