SmackDown Live

Daniel Bryan comes out to get the show started to a big ovation.

After taking a long time to soak up the love from his hometown crowd, Bryan announces a six-woman tag match for tonight. He also hypes a special announcement from Jinder Mahal and Ziggler vs. Roode in a rematch from HIAC. Then he brings up Sami Zayn and how disappointed he was with him at HIAC. This brings Zayn out.

Bryan says he never expected Zayn to do what he did at HIAC. Sami says he and Bryan have a lot of similarities, but Bryan always had the crowd and he didn't. He claims he feels amazing since taking ownership of his career and tells Bryan to lose his martyr complex.
Zayn says Bryan put his body through hell just to end up a housewife. Before Bryan can respond, Kevin Owens comes out and takes the insults even further by calling Bryan a failure. Bryan says KO doesn't care about Sami or anyone else because he only cares about himself. Owens says Bryan has become The Authority and Sami agrees with him. Zayn calls him a sellout.
Bryan decides to leave instead of engaging them any further. Owens says all Bryan can do these days is walk out of the arena and Bryan says he is going to go find a couple of dudes to punch them in the face.
