SmackDown Live

The show opens up with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn making their way to the ring. Sami is doing his cocky dance moves to Owens’ theme music.

Owens and Zayn talk about being the victims of a McMahon family vendetta as the crowd chants "You suck." They list off several Superstars the McMahon have had it out for over the years to prove their point.

Zayn jokes about how he didn't break the rules last week because he attacked Randy Orton in the aisle, not in the ring or at ringside. While Zayn gives his speech from the aisle, Owens gets with an RKO out of nowhere from Orton, literally it was outta nowhere.

Shane McMahon comes out and books Zayn and Owens to face Orton and a partner of his choosing at Clash of Champions. But for tonight, Zayn will have to face Orton all by himself. Shane says KO is welcome to be at ringside, but he will be handcuffed to the ring rope.

Owens and Zayn are shown talking backstage. KO says he is going to go find Daniel Bryan and fix Shane's decision.

The New Day vs. Rusev and Aiden English

Mojo Rawley gives a flimsy excuse for why he turned on Zack Ryder last week.

Bludgeon Brothers vs. Jobbers

Bobby Roode vs. Baron Corbin w/ Dolph Ziggler at commentary

Dolph slides in the ring and hits Roode with a Zig Zag to cause a DQ. He follows it up with one for Corbin.

Charlotte vs. Tamina

The Riott Squad comes out and Ruby gives a short promo on their way to the ring. Sarah Logan leans into her southern upbringing with one quick line and Morgan gets in a few words, too. Tamina takes the first shot at Logan, but their fight is quickly broken up
while Charlotte leaves the ring.

Randy Orton vs. Sami Zayn w/ KO handcuffed on the ring ring rope.
Owens manages to cut the cuffs off, but Orton clotheslines him off the apron.

KO immediately attacks him after the bell.

Shinsuke Nakamura runs down to the ring and makes the save. He dispatches Zayn before hitting the Kinshasa on Owens. Orton recovers and nails Zayn with an RKO.

Shane is shown telling Bryan that not only will he be the special guest referee for the tag match at Clash of Champions, but if Sami and Kevin lose, they are fired from all of WWE.

SmackDown ends with Nakamura picking up Owens’ so Orton can hit one last RKO. Then he picks up Zayn to Nakamura can nail him with the Kinshasa.
