SmackDown Live

SmackDown opens with Daniel Bryan heading to the ring.

Daniel Bryan talks about what happened with Ziggler last week and says since he can't get ahold of him, he is forced to look at his actions as Dolph relinquishing the title. He calls Ziggler one of the all-time greats. Bryan announces a tournament to crown a new champion, and it will begin tonight. He reveals Baron Corbin will battle Bobby Roode, but before he can announce the next one, Gable and Benjamin interrupt him.

Gable and Benjamin ask Bryan why he added New Day and Rusev and English to the tag title match at The Clash and mention how they defeated The Usos in a regular match last week. Rusev and English come out to add in their two cents.

It doesn't take long before The New Day comes out with their tray of pancakes. Big E calls Benjamin "Old Jason Jordan."

Bryan turns the whole segment into a Triple Threat tag match with the winners getting a title shot against The Usos. The Usos come down to watch from ringside.
