SmackDown Live

SmackDown opens with Daniel Bryan coming out to a massive ovation
Bryan brings out Shane McMahon right away, and he too gets a great reaction from the live crowd. They shake hands and appear to be back on good terms after months of building tension. Shane praises Bryan's passion and determination. He congratulates him on being cleared to return to the ring and gets a Yes chant going.
Bryan admits he has made mistakes when it comes to Zayn and Owens because he allowed their friendship to cloud his judgment. He apologizes to Shane for not listening to his warnings and offers a sincere apology. Shane says he has done a lot of thinking and realizes he has been stubborn recently. Bryan proposes they hug it out to resolve their issues like Team Hell No used to.
Shane offers his own apology and offers another handshake. Bryan says Nashville wants to see them hug it out and another Yes chant breaks out. They eventually hug and Shane says they are back on the same page again. They end the segment with yet another Yes chant.

Charlotte vs. Natalya

Carmella's music hits and she runs down to the ring with a ref. Charlotte kicks the case out of the ring and then lays Carmella out with a boot to the face. She kicks out of a roll-up and locks Natalya in the Figure Eight for the win.
As Charlotte celebrates her win, Asuka's music hits and she struts her way to the ring. She tries to say her signature catchphrase, but Charlotte rips the mic out of her hand and asks if Asuka is ready for her. Both women look at the WrestleMania sign as Charlotte's music plays.

After the break, WWE recaps Bryan's return to the ring and attack at the hands of Zayn and Owens.

Bobby Roode is out after the break to watch Jinder Mahal face Rusev.

Rusev vs. Jinder Mahal

Rusev won
As Rusev celebrates, Randy Orton appears and hits another classic RKO out of nowhere. English jumps on him, but he also takes an RKO. Roode gets in the ring and hands Orton his title belt. The crowd is still chanting Rusev Day as Roode and Orton both stare at the sign.

After a backstage segment with The Usos, The New Day and The Bludgeon Brothers, we head back to the ring for an eight-man tag match.

Breezango, Dillinger and Ryder vs.

Rawley, Corbin, Ziggler, and Primo

Baron Corbin, Mojo Rawley, Dolph Ziggler and Primo won

Gable and Benjamin give a promo from backstage. When we go back to the arena, Zayn and Owens storm the ringside area and jump up on the table. They grab mics and says WrestleMania will still be the Sami and Kevin show. Zayn apologizes to Brie and Birdie for the man they will send back to them after WrestleMania.
Owens and Zayn have their mics turned off and they leave through the crowd as Shane and Bryan make their way out. Bryan tells everyone to take a pic of KO and Sami because this is the last time we will ever see them on SmackDown.

Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles vs. Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin
Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles won

Benjamina attacks Nakamura after the match and Styles doesn't rush back to help. Shin fights him off and AJ leaps over the top rope to fake him out with a Phenomenal Forearm just like Nakamura did to him with the Kinshasa last week. He pats Nakamura on the head before taking his title and leaving. This match is going to be insane at WrestleMania.
The final SmackDown before Mania ends with Nakamura looking angry as Styles walks up the ramp.

SmackDown Live

SmackDown opens with the announcers recapping the results of Fastlane. When we go live to the arena, AJ Styles makes his way to the ring.

The Phenomenal One talks about retaining the title with the odds stacked against him at Fastlane. He says he Cena putting him through a table made him think he would lose the match, but he found a way to succeed. Styles seems genuinely proud to be going into WrestleMania as WWE champion. He talks about how it was once unbelievable that he would even be in WWE, let alone be the champion.

Shinsuke Nakamura makes his way to the ring after AJ is done speaking.

Nakamura says everyone likes AJ, but everyone likes him, too. He says he respects Styles, but his dream is going to come true at WrestleMania and he will win the WWE title. Rusev's music hits and he gets a huge pop when he comes out on the stage with Aiden English.

AJ Styles vs. Rusev w/ Shinsuke Nakamura at commentary.

English jumps in the ring and attacks Styles to cause a DQ. Nakamura just sits and watches at ringside.

Shinsuke eventually comes in and takes out Rusev and English to make the save. Nakamura leaves without helping AJ to his feet.

Big E and Jimmy Uso will team up to take on The Bludgeon Brothers tonight. They appear to be on the same page after a backstage interview. Uso promises they will have another title match soon, but he wants them to focus on Harper and Rowan tonight.

The Bludgeon Brothers vs. Big E and Jimmy Uso

Big E skips his usual intro and is all business as he heads to the ring. Big E and Jimmy attack Harper and Rowan during their entrance. They grab a pair of steel chairs and bring them in the ring. The Bludgeon Brothers grab their mallets and get on the apron. The ref bails out of the ring as all four men have a standoff. Harper and Rowan knock the chairs out of their hands, but Big E and Uso are able to escape the ring. Back after the break the match has finally started.
The Bludgeon Brothers won
Harper and Rowan attack Big E and Uso after the match just to put an exclamation point on their performance.

Sami Zayn gives an interview backstage and talks about how he should have won the WWE title and blames Owens and

McMahon for being obsessed with each other.

After the break, Charlotte heads to the ring for Asuka's first
appearance on SmackDown Live.

Asuka comes out and Charlotte welcomes her to SmackDown. She vows to end Asuka's streak and cement her legacy as the greatest women's champion of all time. Asuka says she likes a challenge and bows to no one because nobody is ready for Asuka. Surprisingly, the
segment ends without anyone interrupting them or anyone throwing a punch. Even more surprisingly, Randy Orton's music hits and he makes his way to the ring while Charlotte and Asuka are still staring at each other.

Orton says he has been called many different things throughout his career, but he has never been called United States champion until now. Randy talks about being a Grand Slam champion and says Roode earned his respect at Fastlane. He claims nobody can stop him from taking the title to WrestleMania. This brings out Bobby Roode.
Roode congratulates Orton on his win and says their rematch
will take place at WrestleMania. Jinder Mahal comes out and he also congratulates Orton, but he reminds him that Roode won that title before Orton did after over a decade in WWE.

Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal
Sunil Singh gets on the apron and Roode shoves him into the ring post. Mahal crotches Roode on the top rope and hits the Khallas for the pin and the win.
Mahal is celebrating when Orton runs in the ring and hits him
with an RKO. He holds up his U.S. title and looks at the WrestleMania sign.

Renee Young asks Kevin Owens what he thinks of Sami Zayn blaming him for what happened on Sunday. KO says Zayn was selfish and everything is Shane McMahon's fault. He is mad Sami betrayed him and calls him a liar and manipulator.

Carmella vs. Naomi
Carmella won
Shane McMahon comes out and to make a WrestleMania announcement
Shane talks about his problems with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn over the past several months. He says he talked to Daniel Bryan today and he is going to be running SmackDown alone since Shane is going to be taking a hiatus as commissioner. Shane books Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn at WrestleMania. This brings Owens out to the stage.
KO says he finally agrees with one of Shane's decisions and he wishes him the best in his future endeavors. He claims he can beat up Zayn whenever he wants, so Zayn comes out to share his thoughts. Sami rips into Shane for listening to the fans to make his decisions. KO distracts Shane so Sami can attack him from behind. Owens holds McMahon so Zayn can nail him with the Helluva Kick.
KO hits Shane with a Popup Powerbomb while he and Zayn fight off several officials. Zayn grabs a chair and sets it up around Shane's neck. They ram Shane and the chair into the ring post before dragging him up the ramp to the backstage area. They powerbomb Shane into some equipment and Shane makes sounds like he is dying.

The show ends with Shane being loaded onto a stretcher.

RAW

The show opens with Kurt Angle coming to the ring.

Angle says he is honored to be fighting alongside Rousey at WrestleMania and he won't regret what he does to Triple H. Then he informs the crowd that Lesnar won't be showing up tonight and Roman Reigns comes out to share his thoughts on the matter.

Reigns says he's not surprised Lesnar won't show up and it's just another sign of Lesnar's disrespect for the company and the fans. He asks Angle if Brock will be punished for not showing up to work, but he knows he won't because he is Vince's boy. Angle tries to cover his mic and Roman tells him not to touch it. Reigns gets some cheers when he says the people of Detroit know what would happen if they didn't show up for work. Reigns says the real problem is Vince McMahon.

Reigns says McMahon disrespected him by not telling him about Lesnar and having to find out from Angle just like everyone else. He says he refuses to be disrespected by Vince and walks backstage to confront him. Shane is sitting next to Vince.. McMahon tells Reigns they should go to his office and says to cut to a commercial.

Renee Young tries to interview Reigns as he is coming out of Vince's office after the break, but he walks right past her. Vince comes out and tells Renee that Brock is nobody's boy. He is his own man. Vince says he never intended to disrespect Roman but he told him to know his role. Vince agrees that Brock probably doesn't respect the fans, but he does respect competition. He claims The Beast will definitely be at Raw next week. He also says Reigns has been temporarily suspended.

Sasha Banks vs. Sonya Deville

Sasha won
Bayley prevents Mandy from interfering. Bayley walks away after Sasha captures the win.
Absolution surrounds Sasha and attacks her after the match.

The Miz is in the ring when we return for another episode of MizTV

Miz says Axel and Dallas have a shot to make it on the WrestleMania card later, so they aren't out with him tonight. He talks about his title match at WrestleMania and how he is on the verge of breaking the record for longest IC title reign. Seth Rollins is brought out as his first guest.
Miz says he thinks it should be just him and Rollins at WrestleMania because they are the workhorses of WWE and Balor doesn't have their same level of accomplishments. Miz
calls Balor "The Man...in bingo halls." He warns Finn not to
trust Seth because he has a history of turning his back on his friends.
Balor and Rollins have an argument and almost come to blows. They both see The Miz standing there with a huge smile on his face and they decide to attack him instead. After Miz is driven out of the ring, Rollins belts Balor in the face and walks away.

The Bar is out after the break. They are standing in the corner posing when Dallas and Axel attack them from behind.

The Revival eventually join Dallas and Axel. This leads to every team in the division coming out and attacking the champs. It looks like everyone wants a shot at the gold at WrestleMania.

John Cena is out after the break to talk about his path to WrestleMania. He seems to be in good spirits despite losing last night at Fastlane. He says he has found his road to WrestleMania after all these weeks.

Cena says he tried to earn a spot at WrestleMania on both brands and couldn't get the job done. He only blames himself and offers no excuses. The crowd starts chanting Undertaker's name and Cena says he hopes those backstage are listening. Cena says he is here to let everyone know he won't be contributing to WrestleMania this year.. Cena says he will not be attending WrestleMania as a fan.
Cena goes out into the crowd and takes a sip of some guy's beer. He gets a This is Awesome chant going, but the crowd boos when he tries to make them chant Let's Go Roman. Cena says he could just do the thing he wasn't supposed to do in the ring right now. He says "Screw it. I challenge The Undertaker to a match at WrestleMania." The crowd explodes into Yes chants.
Cena says the only thing standing between him and a match with The Undertaker is The Undertaker himself. He tells Taker to get over his own ego and stop hiding behind his lame excuses. He says Taker is not old, washed up or broken down or he wouldn't be posting workout videos on his wife's Instagram. He calls Taker a self-centered, conceited egomaniac. He asks if the crowd wants to see Taker kick his
butt at Mania and everyone cheers.
Cena says he would want one more match if he was in Taker's position before dropping the mic and walking away.

Sheamus and Cesaro are shown asking to be traded to SmackDown because they are sick of the tag team division on Raw. Angle books a tag team Battle Royal for tonight with the

winners earning a title shot at WrestleMania.

Then Cole throws to a recap of last week's Symphony of Destruction match

Elias is in the ring after the video wearing a neck brace. He doesn't ask if we want to walk with him, skips his song and leaves the ring after saying "This is your fault." We see Braun Strowman backstage and he brags about dropping a piano on Elias last week and asks why he doesn't have a match at
WrestleMania yet. He says he will carve a path of destruction until he gets a match.

Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor

Finn Balor won

Cole throws to a special tribute to Fabulous Moolah. WWE announces the first Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal for the women's division at WrestleMania during the video package.

Asuka is out after the break to explain why she chose to challenge Charlotte for the SD women's title at WrestleMania during an interview with Charly Caruso.

Before Asuka can say anything, Alexa Bliss and Mickie James come down to the ring. Bliss says Asuka is a great competitor and very smart. She puts over her undefeated streak, but James questions how she has remained undefeated for so long. Bliss says Asuka is afraid to step in the ring with someone like her and applauds her decision to choose the champion of the B-show. Asuka paraphrases Ric Flair and says to be the woman, she has to beat the woman, and that is Charlotte.

Asuka challenges Bliss to face her right now. Alexa stumbles over her words a little when she responds. She tries to call out “Nia Jax” to face Asuka, but she is nowhere to be seen. Alexa shoves Asuka and James lays her out with a running forearm

WWE plays a video preview for The Ultimate Deletion. We get a view of all the major staples of the original broken gimmick, including Senior Benjamin and the rest of the family. After the video, Wyatt delivers a promo from a smoky room.

Tag Team Battle Royal (Winners face The Bar at WrestleMania 34 for the Tag Team Titles)

As the Battle Royal is about to begin, Braun Strowman
comes down and gets in the ring. It looks like he wants to be considered as a solo tag team performer.

Braun is declared the winner of the match, which means he now has a tag title shot against The Bar at WrestleMania.

Ruby says she's going to knock Charlotte off her pedastal on Sunday.

Braun Strowman vs. Elias
Elias grabs a fire extinguisher from under the ring and shoots it at Strowman to get himself disqualified.
Elias takes advantage of a blinded Strowman, but Braun eventually recovers and runs him over on the ramp. He keeps wiping his eyes as he drags Elias toward the announce table. Elias rakes the eyes and runs away to avoid being put through the table. Braun chases him backstage, but his eyes are still messed up. A limo pulls up next to Strowman as Elias runs away.

Stephanie McMahon and Triple H come out after the break and say last night should have been the best night of their executive careers, but it was ruined by Kurt Angle.

Stephanie says since Rousey signed her contract, WWE owns her now. She tells Angle to come out and apologize for what he said last night, but Rousey's music hits instead and she marches to the ring. Kurt comes out and tells her to calm down. She says she wants to be in WWE more than anything, but she refuses to be disrespected.

Angle claims he lied last night and says it was due to being sick for the past few weeks. He back peddles on everything he said and Steph thanks him. Ronda says Steph need to apologize for slapping her or she will rip Stephanie's arm out of its socket. McMahon says she is sorry and she overreacted. Then, out of nowhere, Triple H takes a cheap shot at Angle and lays him out. This is clearly leading to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon vs. Ronda and Kurt at WrestleMania.

The show ends with Rousey helping Angle to his feet.

Who was in the limbo though?! How you going to end on that?!
