SmackDown opens
with a recap of last week's events.
Kevin
Owens heads to the ring after we rewatch his half-hearted fake apology from
last week.
Owens says all he
has heard is how Shane will have something to say this week and asks where he
is right now? KO says he knows Shane isn't a coward because he is a very smart
man. He talks about how he respects and likes Vince. Sami Zayn comes out to add
his two cents.
Sami says Owens
went too far when he headbutted Vince and tries to talk some sense into him for
the sake of his family. KO thinks Zayn is just mad that he has done more than
Sami has in less time as a WWE Superstar.
Daniel Bryan comes
out before things get physical between the former best friends. He says Shane
isn't there yet, but we will see Zayn vs. Owens tonight.
Baron Corbin vs.
Tye Dillinger
He throws a drink
in AJ's face and then whips Dillinger into the U.S. champ and both men go
tumbling over the table.
Dillinger fails to
beat the count, so Corbin wins by Countout. Styles chases him out of the
ring.
Baron grabs a mic
and says he knew AJ and Tye would work together and he
got the better of them. He says Styles couldn't beat him one on one and challenges him to a title match at HIAC.
Mahal shows several more pictures of Nakamura with different looks on his face to mock him, and the Singhs just keep rolling around the ring laughing. The last picture turns out to be a live shot. The lights go out and Nakamura makes his way to the ring.

Nakamura takes out the Singhs before Mahal is able to jump him and drive his head into the ring post. He rolls Shinsuke in the ring and ends up on the receiving end of some of his kicks. Nakamura hits the WWE champion with the Kinshasa to end the segment.
The Usos vs. Hype Bros

The New Day say
they want to defend the title inside Hell in a Cell. The Usos don't seem to
have a problem with this.
Rusev brags about
beating Randy Orton. He calls himself the Lion of Bulgaria
and says he ripped the fangs from the Viper's mouth and destroyed the legend of the Legend Killer. He declares SmackDown to be his personal jungle. English sings another song in Rusev's honor.

Natalya come out to
ruin Charlotte's celebration.

obviously, it is
Dolph. (It was)
Bobby Roode heads to the ring with his trademark entrance to respond to Ziggler's recent rants. He admits Dolph is an amazing talent, but also calls him a hypocrite. He challenges Ziggler to a match at HIAC.
Ziggler says Roode
is everything that's wrong with WWE and he's not on Ziggler's level. Dolph
accepts his challenge.
Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn
Owens powerbombs
him into the apron. The ref calls for the bell.
The medics help
Sami as Owens watches with a blank look on his face. He attacks Sami again, knocking
everyone else out of the way to get to him. He grabs a steel chair and puts it
around Zayn's neck. Shane's music hits before he can do anything else. Owens
shoves Sami into Shane before escaping through the crowd. The chair on Zayn's
head hit Shane in the face.
The show ends with
Owens blowing a kiss to Shane as he stands in the ring fuming.
