SmackDown opens with Renee Young welcoming Becky Lynch to the ring for an interview.

Carmella says she realized they are going to be part of the first all women's PPV together. She says she has always been a little jealous of Becky and was told she would only ever be a manager in NXT. She thanks Lynch for being there for her to give advice and inspire her.

She cries a little when talking about the way people talk about her on social media. The crowd doesn't seem to feel any sympathy for her. She says she is excited to face Lynch at SummerSlam so they can tear the house down together. Mella wishes Becky good luck and offers her hand. Before Lynch can do anything, James Ellsworth's music hits. Becky gets distracted and Carmella attacks her from behind. She grabs a steel chair and brings it in the ring.

Charlotte returns to make the save for her friend. She knocks the chair out of Carmella's hands and sends her running with her title.

Then he tells him to do it and Shinsuke hits Hardy with the Kinshasa. Orton gets in his face and makes him leave the ring. Randy lines up for the RKO, but then he just trips him and stomps on all of his limbs.

Bryan says The Miz never thought Bryan would be medically cleared again, but he is, and now The Miz has no protection from him. Bryan says Miz knows in a fair fight he would destroy him, and if he’s wrong, The Miz should come out and prove it.
The Miz comes on the big screen and says he isn't there tonight because he is filming his show. He tells Bryan he has to earn the right to face him. Miz claims he has carried Bryan for 10 years and takes credit for making him famous. Bryan says he doesn't care about fame.
Bryan says Miz will never be The Rock or John Cena when it comes to Hollywood and nobody will ever remember him as a great wrestler because he is too soft. Bryan says if Miz needs a big stage then he should talk to his agent and come fight Bryan one-on-one at SummerSlam. Miz tells Bryan he should just let his contract expire and go wrestle in high school gyms because the Yes Movement is over. He says, All these people, they look at you, and all they see is one thing... WAH, WAH WAH - We see a bunch of photos of babies on the big screen and cries through the arena as Bryan watches.

RAW

Raw opens with a title card paying tribute to the late Masa Saito before the show goes live to the arena with Kurt Angle standing in the ring. He thanks everyone for their performances at Extreme Rules and says he is proud to be the Raw GM. Then he brings up Brock Lesnar and his lack of dedication to being the universal champion.

Before Angle can announce he is stripping Lesnar of the title for not showing up, Paul Heyman comes out to interrupt. Angle says if Lesnar isn't here right now, Heyman may as well save his breath. Heyman teases Lesnar appearing, but then he says Brock isn't there and Angle starts to say he is stripping him of the title. Heyman cuts him off again and gets in the ring.

Heyman says everyone has the wrong idea about Brock Lesnar. He says The Beast does care about being the universal champion and he is not solely focused on the UFC title. He claims Lesnar loves being in WWE as the champion and Angle asks why he isn't around. Heyman says Lesnar wants to represent WWE when he becomes the UFC champion by wearing the universal title in the Octagon. Angle says if he doesn't defend the title at SummerSlam, he will no longer be the champion. He demands an answer right now, so Heyman agrees to his terms.

Heyman says Angle has to pick Lesnar's next victim, and that is when Bobby Lashley's music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Lashley says he had two goals when he came back to WWE. He wanted to beat Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. He accomplished one goal last night, so now he wants to face Lesnar for the title. He corners Heyman, but Drew McIntyre comes out before Paul can respond.
McIntyre says helping Ziggler was phase one of his plan, and now it's time for phase two. Then Seth Rollins comes out with a mic to throw his hat in the ring.
Elias comes out and says he deserves to challenge Lesnar, and so does Finn Balor. As expected, Roman Reigns eventually joins the party. He says Rousey needs to go home and wait out the last two days of her suspension. Corbin comes out and says Rousey needs to be reprimanded and he tells Kurt to do his job. Angle agrees and adds a week to her suspension. The Constable thinks this is too lenient and says he is calling Stephanie right now. He can't find his phone so he heads backstage to make the call.
