RAW

Raw opens with a title card paying tribute to the late Masa Saito before the show goes live to the arena with Kurt Angle standing in the ring. He thanks everyone for their performances at Extreme Rules and says he is proud to be the Raw GM. Then he brings up Brock Lesnar and his lack of dedication to being the universal champion.

Before Angle can announce he is stripping Lesnar of the title for not showing up, Paul Heyman comes out to interrupt. Angle says if Lesnar isn't here right now, Heyman may as well save his breath. Heyman teases Lesnar appearing, but then he says Brock isn't there and Angle starts to say he is stripping him of the title. Heyman cuts him off again and gets in the ring.

Heyman says everyone has the wrong idea about Brock Lesnar. He says The Beast does care about being the universal champion and he is not solely focused on the UFC title. He claims Lesnar loves being in WWE as the champion and Angle asks why he isn't around. Heyman says Lesnar wants to represent WWE when he becomes the UFC champion by wearing the universal title in the Octagon. Angle says if he doesn't defend the title at SummerSlam, he will no longer be the champion. He demands an answer right now, so Heyman agrees to his terms.

Heyman says Angle has to pick Lesnar's next victim, and that is when Bobby Lashley's music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Lashley says he had two goals when he came back to WWE. He wanted to beat Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. He accomplished one goal last night, so now he wants to face Lesnar for the title. He corners Heyman, but Drew McIntyre comes out before Paul can respond.
McIntyre says helping Ziggler was phase one of his plan, and now it's time for phase two. Then Seth Rollins comes out with a mic to throw his hat in the ring.
Elias comes out and says he deserves to challenge Lesnar, and so does Finn Balor. As expected, Roman Reigns eventually joins the party. Angle books two Triple Threat matches for tonight, with the winners facing each other for the right to face Lesnar at SummerSlam. The first will be Reigns vs. Balor vs. McIntyre and the second will be Lashley vs. Rollins vs. Elias.

Baron Corbin yells at Angle for not discussing his plans with him ahead of time and not booking him in one of those matches. Angle says he doesn't deserve the shot and walks away.

Angle books Bayley and Banks against Dana Brooke and Alicia Fox. She doesn't think it's a good idea, but he says one of them will be traded to SmackDown if they can't get along.

Dolph Ziggler comes out after the break and brags about his win in last night's Ironman match over Seth Rollins. He also brags about how the IC Title main-evented the PPV for the first time in 17 years. He says he respects everything Seth Rollins did to make the IC title what it is today, but he also says Rollins is no Dolph Ziggler. He is interrupted by Bobby Roode's entrance music.
Roode says being on the sidelines sucks and he is here to challenge Ziggler for the title right now. Dolph is hesitant at first, but Roode goads him until he agrees.

As they celebrate, Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy appear on the big screen to challenge them to a rematch for the titles.

Alexa Bliss comes to the ring with Mickie James after the commercial to gloat about beating Nia Jax. She says her strongest muscle is her brain and it wasn't hard to outsmart Jax last night. She says she has defeated every single woman in the locker room. She says Ronda Rousey doesn't count because she is suspended. The crowd starts reacting to something and we see Rousey walking down the stairs in the arena toward the ring. Bliss and James hightail it from the ring, but Ronda cuts them off on the stage. She chases them to the ring and catches Mickie. She drops her with a slam before Bliss and some officials drag her from the ring to save her from an armbar. Rousey chases them up the ramp and takes down the group of refs and the two women.

Ronda grabs Alexa by the hair and drags her to the ring. She gets her in position for the armbar, but Angle comes out and talks her down. He says Rousey needs to go home and wait out the last two days of her suspension. Corbin comes out and says Rousey needs to be reprimanded and he tells Kurt to do his job. Angle agrees and adds a week to her suspension. The Constable thinks this is too lenient and says he is calling Stephanie right now. He can't find his phone so he heads backstage to make the call. Angle reveals he has the phone and says Rousey will get a match with Bliss once her suspension is up, but it won't happen if she violates her suspension again. Ronda will get a title shot at SummerSlam.
