SmackDown



Chris Jericho comes out for the return of the Highlight Reel, bragging about how he destroyed ‘Mitch’ and put Dean Ambrose in the hospital. He welcomes his guest, Sami Zayn, to the ring, and talks about taking Miz's IC Title and holding it up, and still chasing Kevin Owens after WWE Payback but The Miz and Maryse cut them off and warns Sami to never lay a hand on his championship again and then Sami pocks at the title then Jericho flips out and mocks everyone before leaving. Then Sami Zayn and Miz continue to talk, Maryse tells Sami that Miz will teach him a lesson and Sami said that is a good idea, then Miz gets out of the ring.

Sami Zayn vs. The Miz w/ Kevin Owens makes an appearance during the match and joins the commentary.

Sami Zayn won via disqualification

Kevin Owens attacks Sami to cause the DQ. Cesaro ran to the ring to even things up, then taunted Miz with the Intercontinental Championship after cleaning house. 


AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are shown backstage talking, Gallows and Anderson tell Styles he needs to take it to a new level in order to beat Roman Reigns at WWE Extreme Rules. Styles tells them he wants to win on his own terms, but he needs to go have a talk with Reigns himself. 



They talk about the injury that happened to Enzo Amore at WWE Payback 


The Vaudevillains defeated Social Outcasts 

Big Cass came to the ring after the match and layed Curtis Axel and both Vaudevillains out with power bombs.



Natalya and Becky Lynch defeated Emma and Charlotte


AJ Styles  then finds Roman Reigns backstage and talks to him about The Usos facing Gallows and Anderson later in the night. Styles asks what role Reigns will play, and Reigns says he’s ‘the’ guy and The Usos are family, so he can do whatever he wants to.


Rusev defeated Zack Ryder

Backstage segment where Darren Young is shown talking to Bob Backlund, and asks him to be his life coach. Backlund agrees, and tells Darren that he needs a new outlook, and it’s time to “Make Darren Young Great Again”. 



The Usos vs Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson 

At one point Anderson kicks Reigns in the face while he’s on the floor. Everyone starts brawling, and the match is thrown out, and restarted as a six man tag team match.

The Usos and Roman Reigns won.


The show ends with Reigns and Styles staring each other down.
