Corbin's music hits, but he doesn't come out. His music stops and starts again but he still doesn't show up. We go backstage to see Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens attacking Corbin. The Lone Wolf tries to fight back, but the best friends run him into some production crates. They make their way to the ring with the goal of taking out Ziggler, too.
Zayn tries to go into the crowd to make sure Ziggler doesn't run away, so Dolph takes the fight to him. Owens joins in and they destroy Dolph. As they leave the ringside area, Corbin attacks them. Owens and Zayn still get the upper hand and throw him into the barricade as several refs come out to separate them.
The Riott Squad is out after the break. Becky Lynch joins Charlotte at ringside with Naomi to even the odds.
Charlotte vs. Sarah Logan
Charlotte won
Kevin Owens is out after the break to face Baron Corbin. If Corbin wins, he will be added to the Fastlane main event just like Ziggler if he manages to beat Zayn later tonight.
Kevin Owens vs. Baron Corbin
Baron Corbin won and will be added to the WWE Title match at Fastlane. So currently it is a Fatal 4 Way, if Ziggler wins his match later against Zayn it will be a Fatal 5 Way
Bobby Roode heads to the ring after the break for another U.S. title open challenge.
Randy Orton answers the challenge, but before the match can start, Jinder Mahal comes out to taunt him for only being No. 9 on the SmackDown Top 10 list. He claims to respect Orton, but keeps needling him about his place in the rankings.
Roode reminds Jinder that he didn't even make the Top 10 and says it's because nobody respects him. Bobby says he has nothing but respect for Orton and everything he has accomplished but he is tired of being attacked out of nowhere. Orton immediately hits Sunil Singh with an RKO and a brawl breaks out that ends with Mahal hitting the Khallas on both Roode and Orton.
The New Day vs. Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin
The New Day won
Dolph Ziggler vs. Sami Zayn
Dolph Ziggler won and the WWE Title match at WWE Fastlane will be a Fatal 5 Way.
The show ends with Ziggler celebrating his win as the crowd cheers for him.
Rating: 80/80
