After the match, Jose cuts a promo about how all he wanted to show Austin Aries was the fun he brings to NXT. Joe says Aries took advantage of him and when he showed him what he could turn his fiesta into, Aries turned into a coward. Jose says next time they meet, he will whoop Aries' ass.



WWE Cruiserweight Classic competitor Kota Ibushi defeated Murphy - which was a great match.



Samoa Joe comes out for a promo and says the title match with Shinsuke Nakamura at Takeover will not happen since William Regal didn't consult him. Joe calls Nakamura an undeserving contender. Regal comes out and says his decision is final. Joe says he had to jump through hoops to get the title and Regal needs to correct his disrespect towards him, and they need to discuss his opponent. Regal says if Joe doesn't accept the fight, he forfeits the title. Joe says he will hand Regal nothing and that match will happen, but this is the biggest mistake Regal has ever made. Joe says if he sees Nakamura before Takeover, Nakamura won't make it there. Nakamura interrupts and taunts Joe from the stage. Nakamura leaves while Joe stands in the ring and that ends NXT.

Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan opens SmackDown LIVE by saying they plan to make SmackDown all about the superstars and the audience
the roster is seen surrounding the apron.

Shane McMahon announces to the WWE Universe that we will start seeing SmackDown-only pay-per-views and WWE Backlash is on September 11. He also says that they need to find an opponent for Dean Ambrose at SummerSlam,

Bryan announces a six-pack challenge to determine the No. 1 contender to the WWE World

Championship

John Cena is announced as the first participant. He is followed by Bray Wyatt, Dolph Ziggler, Baron Corbin and AJ Styles.


The final spot is saved for the winner of a Battle Royal, which is up next.

Then Naomi comes out and tells her to shut up. Then Carmella comes out moonwalking and says SmackDown is now fabulous. Eva Marie interrupts her.
Eva has a special announcer introducing her, which is actually kind of an interesting addition to her character. She doesn't even say anything. She just poses near the stage.
But what do the women have to fight for? There hasn't been a title for them announced for SmackDown LIVE as of yet.



Miz TV

The Guest is The Miz interviewing him self- shocking.

But thankfully, Randy Orton came out and interrupted The Miz.

Orton and Miz trade some sarcastic remarks before Orton takes a lap around the ring while the fans chant his name.
Orton asks for a match to help him shake off the ring rust. The Miz says he isn't going to fall for his tricks. Orton makes a joke about Maryse, so she accepts his challenge for her husband.

Heath Slater gets in the ring and takes out a jobber who was waiting for a match. He grabs a mic and asks how he wasn't drafted to either brand. He says he should be in the main event to make it a magnificent seven-pack.
He gets the crowd to chant "Sign Heath Slater." Shane comes out and says there are better ways to get a job like sending in a resume.
But then Slater gets mad about that and says to go to WWE Network and search his name and you will see his resume. And heath slater says he is the hottest free agent right now and to sign him and then Shane says he is right he does see the hottest free agent and
Rhyno gets in the ring and hits a Gore to Slater, which puts a smile on Shane's face. It looks like Rhyno is part of SmackDown now

Six Pack Challenge- Winner comes #1 Contender for the WWE World Championship

John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt vs. AJ Styles vs. Baron Corbin vs. Apollo Crews vs. Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler won and now is the #1 Contender for the World Championship against Dean Ambrose at SummerSlam.

Dolph Ziggler celebrates after the match, and that leads to Dean Ambrose to come down to the ring and get in the face of Ziggler and holds up the title and then Daniel Bryan came out and held up both hands in the air, and then Shane McMahon came out to be apart of this segment. They all exchange words and hype the match for SummerSlam.

Which I have to say is going to be very awesome to see.

It was an okay show. But it didn't top RAW this week. The Main Event was the most exciting to me. We didn't get a women's title for SmackDown but no worries I am sure they're just building up the Women which okay. No second Women Match but maybe they will create some great things next week . We did get to see the Women for a brief moment on SmackDown.
But it is just the first week. It will get better with time.

We see a recap of Dean Ambrose retaining the WWE Championship last night at WWE Battleground in the triple threat fighting both Reigns and Rollins but also he'll be taking it to SmackDown LIVE


Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon open RAW to address the roster of RAW.

Stephanie blames Reigns for losing the title for the entire roster.

Foley announces two Fatal 4-Way matches, with the winners facing each other in singles competition in the main event. The winner of that match will face Rollins at SummerSlam for the brand new championship, which is called the WWE Universal Championship.
The matches will feature Sami Zayn, Sheamus, Chris Jericho, Cesaro, Reigns, Rusev, Owens and Finn Balor.

They then ask Charlotte to step forward. She will be defending the Women's Championship tonight against Sasha Banks.

Dana Brooke was kicked out from ringside by the ref when he seen Banks on the ground and Brooke holding the title as it look like she hit her but Banks was acting. Which was awesome.


Sasha Banks won. She holds up the title in celebration. Byron Saxton interviews her on how she feels about this moment. Sasha says she did it. and this moment has been a dream of hers. and talks about the new era of Sasha banks. and she talks about what she'll bring us being the Women's Champion. And then holds up the title.

This was incredible.


Braun Strowman vs. A Jobber.- Didn't catch his name.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass came out and done a promo and then was interrupted by The Shining Stars.

Finn Balor won and will face Seth Rollins at SummerSlam for the WWE Universal Championship. Tom Phillips interviews Reigns and Reigns stats that he hopes Balor beats Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship and that he wants to face him again, and he respects him. And Finn Balor seen celebrating to close the show.

Randy talks about coming back after 9 months.

and how he missed the WWE!

Jericho says just being in the ring with him puts Orton on a different level. Orton says he may drop Jericho with an RKO, but Y2J says he may hit Orton with a Codebreaker out of nowhere. Jericho says things have changed since Orton has been gone and that he wants to give Orton a present for his return, the gift of Jericho. “Drink it in, maaaannn!” Orton tells Y2J he looks like Ellen DeGeneres. “Ellen!” chant from the crowd.

Jericho then talks about all the destruction that Brock Lesnar has caused in WWE and wonders if Orton is scared of Lesnar. Orton says that he wanted to make a statement upon his return and that, while Lesnar may suplex him 20 times to get to Suplex City, it only takes one RKO to get to Viperville.  Y2J says he knows someone who is close to Lesnar and has a message he wants to relay to him. Jericho tells Orton that Lesnar thinks he’s a “stupid idiot.”

Jericho turns around to walk away, Orton spins him around and fakes an RKO out of nowhere. Then, Orton actually does hit Jericho with an RKO out of nowhere!

Stephanie McMahon opens RAW and shortly after that Shane McMahon comes out


They both have to announce their general managers for their respective programs. Stephanie announces the new GM of Monday Night Raw will be…Mick Foley!
Mick Foley enters. He talks the Attitude Era and the Monday Night Wars. He says he will bring the same ruthlessness and competitive streak to Raw, ensuring it consistently beats SmackDown. 
Shane McMahon announces the new general manager of SmackDown…Daniel Bryan! Bryan enters to  “Yes!” chants all around. He tells the crowd that he missed them twice as much as they missed him. He says SmackDown will put the superstars, not the management, first. Bryan also says SmackDown is the underdog just the way he always was. Stephanie calls Daniel a B+ player for a B+ show.

It was an great segment over all. Both insane choices.

Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE Championship W/ Shane McMahon & Daniel Bryan and Mick Foley & Stephanie McMahon at ring side.

Will there was a three count.. But not clear answer as too who is the winner.

So Stephanie McMahon says Seth Rollins is the New WWE Champion but there was no official winner made from the ref, and exclusively on WWE Network fall out from the WWE Championship match, Seth appears to be walking away but I guess the ref said it was an draw, and Dean Ambrose is still the WWE Champion and Seth has to give it back, Seth gets back in the ring and appears to want to attack Ambrose, and then Ambrose dirty deeds Rollins and stands tall on the top  of the rope and holds up the title to close the show.

What will happen on SmackDown LIVE tomorrow and who will be drafted to RAW or SmackDown. We will find out tomorrow.

Darren Young exchanged a great promo for there match WWE Battleground for IC Title
I'd say Bob Backland has done a good job.

Charlotte announced during a backstage promo that she will partner with Dana Brooke at Battleground to face Sasha Banks and whoever she can find to side with her.

Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens ended in disqualification when Seth Rollins who was at commentary interfered and attacked Dean Ambrose. Sami Zayn made the save. and then a tag team match was made.

Owens and Rollins defeated Ambrose and Zayn
There was some fighting in and around the ring after the match. Ambrose and Rollins started to fight in the ring and then Ambrose looked to do the dirty deeds on Rollins but Rollins escapes from Ambrose and gets out the ring the two stare at each other to close the show.

Great show, and matches but also promos leading to WWE Battleground.

WWE NXT

Samoa Joe comes out to the ring for a promo. Joe plugs Balor vs. Nakamura but is upset at the potential implications of that match being an unnamed #1 Contender match. Joe says he brought strong style to the USA first, and that if he is the "king," then Joe is the "emperor" and must go through him. Rhyno comes out to confront  Samoa Joe in the center of the ring.  This match was then announced to take place next week on NXT.



Bayley vs Nia Jax will take place next week on NXT.


American Alpha vs. Authors Of Pain takes place next week also.



Promo is seen for Nakamura vs. Balor

Both men show each other respect after the match.

We go back to the arena where Cole, JBL and Saxton recap Lesnar's UFC victory.



Ryder confronts Rusev backstage and he gets attacked from behind by Sheamus.

Seth Rollins comes out to do The Rollins Report

Rollins says he has exclusive footage of an interview with him and Reigns, which is likely a bunch of old footage which was an interviewed with Michael Cole and was edited together to make Reigns look like the bad guy.

Dean Ambrose comes to the ring. He says it's good to see Rollins pull the stick out of his butt and have some fun for once.Rollins says the only joke is Ambrose's championship reign. They trade some insults, with both men claiming to be the best in WWE.

Sami Zayn is  out on commentary for the next match. Kevin Owens' music hits, but he doesn't come out. We see him complaining backstage about how having Zayn at ringside is dangerous. Stephanie orders the refs to go remove Zayn from ringside.

Zayn chooses to leave as told but when they pass each other on the ramp, they get into a quick fight which is broken up by all the officials

Vince is shown pulling up to the arena in a limo. Renee Young stops him and asks why he is here. He says he is there to name the COO of SmackDown live, which he calls the commissioner

Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens

Sami Zayn came from the barricade and attacked Kevin Owens which led to Cesaro swinging KO

We see a recap of what happened last week on RAW when the club beat down Cena and then Enzo & Big Cass came for the save.

Titus O'Neil vs Heath Slater

We see a recap of The New Day and The Wyatt Family feud about going to the Wyatt family compound  

Now we see the New Day confronting the Wyatt family in the compound but Wyatt/New Day fight. It was pretty intense, and creepy, and great video, What's next? The Wyatt Family has powers and has a family from everywhere.

Enzo and Cass talking about earning their spot while The Club uses their numbers game to beat up Cena every week. Enzo calls them chicken tenders

Enzo and Big Cass vs. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows

All three members of The Club surround Enzo in the ring. Cena's music hits and he comes out, surprising everyone who thought he was in LA.

He runs to the ring and takes out The Club with Enzo and Big Cass. The crowd goes nuts for Cena.

I look forward to Enzo Amore and Big Cass and John Cena vs. The Club at WWE Battleground.

Sasha Banks vs. Dana Brooke w/ Charlotte at ring side

Vince McMahon to announce who is the commissioner of SmackDown LIVE

Shane McMahon comes out, and then Stephanie McMahon comes out

Vince McMahon came out after they did.

They each plead their case to Vince

Vince asks for a drum roll before revealing Shane as the new commissioner for SmackDown live. Then he tells Shane he no longer has any say in what happens on Raw, naming Stephanie the sole  Vince tells them he wants to see more competition between the two to see who can have the better brand.

Vince tells them they need a GM to run the day to day business, so next week they will each name a GM.

Stephanie tells Shane she is going to bury him and SmackDown. Shane accuses her of hiding something...fear. He says he will beat her just like he always has.
Steph slaps Shane across the face and then dares him to do it to her. He gives her a sarcastic kiss on the cheek and she almost slips walking down the steel steps.
The show ends with Shane standing tall in the ring as Stephanie walks up the ramp. Shane thanks everyone because if it wasn't for them he wouldn't be here. and that is the end of the show.

Great show. I look forward to what comes next for WWE especially with the WWE Draft and SmackDown going live July 19th and Stephanie and Shane completing which will be intense and exciting.

– Dean Ambrose was out to distract Rollins throughout the match, but Rollins ended up winning with a pedigree.

Zack Ryder defeated Sheamus

Tom Phillips interviews him and Ryder challenges Rusev to a United States Championship match. The match challenge is answered by Rusev in a interview backstage and it will take place on RAW next week. 

Becky Lynch comes out for her match but it ends in a no contest as Natalya attacks her from behind. Natalya applies a Sharpshooter and Becky ends up getting helped to the back.

We see a Baron Corbin promo video package

Xavier Woods is interviewed, saying he fears the Wyatt Family, but he will go to their compound Monday to answer the challenge.

AJ Styles defeated Enzo Amore

The Miz defeated Kalisto

Brock Lesnar's opponent at SummerSlam is Randy Orton

I'm looking forward to this match.

Sami Zayn vs. Chris Jericho  w/ KO at commentary

Sami Zayn won

Kevin Owens was out during the match due to Sami Zayn throwing Jericho into KO, and after the bell Jericho hit Zayn with a codebreaker and then Kevin took Zayn out with a pop-up power bomb to end the show.

Bayley cut a promo after the match, but Nia Jax came out and they have a stare down
Bayley challenges Nia Jax for one more match. Nia Jax seems to accept the challenge and then is seen going to the back.

Rhyno makes his return and attacks everyone, breaking up the match

We see a insider video package for Finn Bálor vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, which is next week on NXT. and I look forward to this.

Raw kicks off with a huge backstage cookout with all of the WWE Superstars. The Vaudevillains tried to do a spoken word piece , but someone throws a piece a cake at them. The Miz and Maryse walk in and say that this is not the time for a food fight. Someone throws a chocolate cake at Miz. A huge food fight breaks out.

Rusev (c) vs. Titus O'Neil for the United States Championship

Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas

Charlotte and Dana Brooke are in the ring

Charlotte talks about how everyone has always been jealous of her because she is always the best at everything.

As she is talking trash about Sasha Banks, The Boss makes her way to the ring. Banks reminds Charlotte that she has never beaten her, and she says the title should be hers.
Brooke tries to attack, but Banks gets the upper hand. Charlotte ends up kicking her in the face, but Banks recovers and puts her in the Bank Statement until Brooke pulls her out of the ring to safety.

Seth Rollins comes down to the ring, and they both look at each other but Seth Rollins keeps going to the ring for his match, Ambrose acts as if he is going to leave but looks back and comes running to the ring and it looks as he is going to attack Seth but he then goes to commentary with the Spanish the announce table.

Rollins gets on the mic and says Reigns should be taken out of the match at Battleground from on top of the announce table.
He says Reigns is supposed to be a role model, but the fans are just like him. Ambrose takes off his headset and stands on the other announce table.
Ambrose than tosses the title at him and attacks him, slamming his head on the table and then tossing him over the Spanish table. He hits Dirty Deeds on Seth Rollins on top of the Spanish announce table and stands tall holding the WWE Championship.


We see a video package of The Wyatt Family in a abandoned house.


A Baron Corbin video package is seen.


Vickie Guerrero comes out, basically makes a speech how she should be in charge of smackdown live, and puts her name in the hat to be chosen to be in charge and then security came out come take her away to the back.



Golden Truth vs. The Vaudevillians w/ Breezango at ring side in the VIP section.

John Cena comes out.


John Cena talks about how AJ Styles had to cheat to win in their match, and then he calls out the entire Club.


Styles comes out and calls him pathetic for complaining. He makes a joke about Cena trying to bury him with his shovel after complaining how Cena's face was on all the posters during the recent tour of Japan. and that it is fun to beat up John Cena and that no one wants to help Cena and then they head to the ring and surround the ring to attack Cena, and they all gain up on John Cena, and then Enzo Amore and Big Cass come out to help Cena, they all send The Club out of the ring and they stand tall.

New Day are in the ring. The Wyatts appear on the big screen from their barn. Woods looks scared

Big E and Kofi try to make jokes until Woods yells at them. He says going to the Wyatt's compound is stupid because they would be fighting on Wyatt's home turf.
Woods says he doesn't think The New Day can survive this and walks away.
