Raw opens with the announcers breaking down the show before Paige comes out on the stage.


Paige brings out Asuka and Kairi Sane. The Pirate Princess will face Becky Lynch tonight. Paige talks about how she paired Asuka and Sane together to rule the women's division. Asuka grabs the mic out of her hand and says something in Japanese. Paige takes it back but then Sane grabs it and says something in Japanese. Asuka spits green mist in Paige's face and some officials help her out of the ring. Asuka taunts her at ringside until Becky's music hits.

Jerry Lawler is in the ring after the break and he brings out Rusev for his King's Divorce Court segment.

Lana says she must deal with the WWE Universe bullying her every single day. She says their marriage was only ever about what Rusev wanted, which is sex. He asks if anyone can blame him. She says he was a sex addict who wanted to do it everywhere.

Lashley eventually comes out when things get heated. Rusev goes after him when he gets on the apron and starts destroying him at ringside. Bobby takes control when they get into the ring but Rusev blocks a Spear with a kick and slams him with a Samoan drop. He pulls off his wedding ring and shoves it down Lashley's throat. Lana hits him with a kendo stick a few times but it does nothing to him. Lashley hits a low blow and Lana slaps him. Lashley hits a second low blow before he makes out with Lana.



Rating: 70/70



Decent show and matches as we get closer to WWE Crown Jewel.

SmackDown


SmackDown opens with Team Hogan and Team Flair in the ring with The Miz for MizTV.


The Miz introduces both teams before Hogan and Flair trade insults.

Hogan suggests a match with Corbin, Nakamura and Zayn vs. Ali, Gable and Reigns. Zayn says he won't compete but gets Cesaro to take his place. A brawl breaks out with everyone at ringside.

The Revival and Roode & Ziggler attack The New Day. Heavy Machinery comes out for the save. Heavy Machinery and New Day send The Revival and Roode and Ziggler packing.

Braun hits two powerslams and says this is what will happen to Fury. He says Gulak deserves to be in the ring, but Fury does not.



Michael Cole interviews Daniel Bryan after the break. Cole asks if the Yes movement is back but before Bryan can answer, Shinsuke Nakamura's music hits and he comes out with Sami Zayn. They show a clip of Bryan telling off the crowd from a few months ago.

Zayn says he and Nakamura have a lot in common with Bryan. He talks about how they are both vegans who care about the earth. He says Bryan can either go backward and revive the Yes Movement or move forward and join him and Shinsuke. Sami offers a handshake and Bryan looks around at the crowd. He almost shakes it, but he ends up just walking away.

Cain Velasquez and Rey Mysterio make their way to the ring after the break. Rey thanks the fans for supporting him and his son, Dominic.



Lesnar and Heyman appear on the big screen instead of in the ring. They reveal that Lesnar has attacked Dominic again. Mysterio and Vain run to the back as we go to a break.



Rey and Cain are with Dominik backstage when Lesnar attacks them with a trash can. He throws Rey into the wall and F5s Cain onto a prone Dominik.

Ric Flair comes out to introduce Drew McIntyre as the final member for team Flair.

Rey Mysterio heads to the ring.
Rey tells the Cleveland crowd that he's been training Cain to beat Brock for his WWE Title.
And then he says thank you to everyone in the crowd and everyone watching at home, for supporting him and Dominik and his family through the whole ordeal with Lesnar.
Paul Heyman interrupts Rey via video on the Titantron.
He asks Rey if he would talk smack about Brock if he the Beast was there live?
Heyman tells Mysterio that Lesnar has been "salivating for revenge" ever since Cain defeated him in UFC.
Rey yells at Heyman in Spanish, but Shelton Benjamin comes out and is not happy.
Shelton reminds everybody that he's best buddies with Brock Lesnar.
Aside from Paul Heyman, there's nobody that knows Brock Lesnar better than me.
Beat up Rey Mysterio, get a championship opportunity?
Wait, that's... that's not how it works, Shelton.
CAIN VELAZQUEZ IS HERE!
Benjamin goes in for a tackle, but Cain isn’t having it. He throws Shelton around a bit, chin lock, and then tosses him out of the ring.

The show opens with Roman Reigns heading to the ring for his IC Title shot against Shinsuke Nakamura.

Baron Corbin comes up behind Reigns and hits him with his scepter to cause a DQ.



Daniel Bryan runs down to make the save for Reigns. He takes down Corbin and Nakamura but Zayn grabs his foot so Nakamura can hit a running knee. Corbin, Zayn and Nakamura leave together while Bryan and Reigns struggle to get up.

Bayley comes out with Sasha Banks for an episode of MizTV.

After The Boss puts her friend over as the first Grand Slam champion, Miz throws to a video showing what happened last week.

Bayley says she doesn't owe anyone an explanation. Miz asks about all the kids who looked up to her and calls her Brock Lesnar when she refuses to answer. He pokes and prods until Banks steps in.

Bayley says she was sick of trying to make everyone else smile and that is why she destroyed the Bayley buddies. She says life sucks and then you die. Nikki Cross comes out to interrupt. She says she will give Bayley a big hug when she wins the six-pack challenge.

Raw opens with a recap of the main event from Hell in a Cell.


When we go live to the arena, Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring for the first match of the night against Charlotte.


The Queen gives a promo and says she wants to be friends with Becky again. Then she delivers a sucker punch to kickstart a brawl. The Man fires back as they trade lefts and rights. We head to a break as several officials try to break them apart.

A lot better this week with some great matches and segments.

SmackDown


Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins


Seth sets up for The Stomp but the lights go out and The Fiend comes up through the ring to apply the Mandible Claw. He drags Rollins through the ring before the lights come back on. Seth escapes through the hole but he is choking. Wyatt looks through the hole for a moment before disappearing.


Rollins is revealed to be the winner of the match by DQ, so Raw gets the first pick. Stephanie comes on the stage and reveals Raw has drafted Becky Lynch. SmackDown gets Roman Reigns. Raw takes the entire OC and SmackDown selects Bray Wyatt. The final pick of this round is Raw taking Drew McIntyre.



Baron Corbin vs. Chad Gable

Orton is drafted to Raw and Sasha Banks is drafted to SmackDown. Raw also gets Ricochet and SmackDown brings in Braun Strowman. The final pick for this round for Raw is Bobby Lashley.




After the break, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman make their way to the ring.


Heyman talks about how Brock has been waiting nine years to get revenge on Cain for taking the UFC title from him. After a couple of minutes, Rey Mysterio's music hits and he comes out with Cain on the stage.

RAW


We go live to the arena to see Corbin and Orton beating down Rusev. The Bulgarian sends them out of the ring before Lashley appears on the big screen. He says he is at Rusev's house with Lana. He takes off his robe and gets into Rusev's bed. Lana walks in and gets into bed with him as some soft jazz plays in the background. Lana says everything they own is in her name and she has emptied their checking account. Rusev takes his frustration out on both Corbin and Orton.

Asuka and Kairi Sane come out and deliver a promo in Japanese. Becky tells them to bring it and a brawl breaks out in the ring.

Bliss and Cross run down to make the save for Charlotte during a post-match attack. They dispatch Asuka and Sane to be the last women standing in the ring.





Ricochet vs. Apollo Crews

Fury comes to the ring and demands an apology from Braun Strowman. It doesn't take long for The Monster Among Men to head to the ring.
Braun and Tyson exchange a few words. Tyson pushes Braun and The Monster picks him up and drives him to the corner. A brawl breaks out and a couple of dozen security guards try to break them up. Fury and Strowman take out the guards and keep fighting until the locker room comes out to break them up again.

The show ends with Strowman finally heading to the back. Charly catches him for a quick interview and Strowman says Tyson might be tough, but he will get these hands. He runs back to the ring and the show goes off the air with them fighting again.



Rating: 60/60



Honestly, it could’ve been better. I mean had some good parts but most of the show was kind of was lame to be honest.

Rollins grabs a toolbox and uses it to crush Wyatt under a ladder and chair. He finds a sledgehammer under the ring. The ref tries to talk him out of using it for some reason. Rollins uses it to smash everything that is on top of Wyatt and the ref calls for the bell. Several officials and medics come down to check on Wyatt as the cell is raised. Wyatt grabs Rollins in the Mandible Claw. He brings Rollins down before throwing him out of the ring.



The crowd continues to revolt as Wyatt beats Rollins down. The lights go out and all you can hear if the crowd booing. HIAC ends with a shot of Wyatt standing on the stage.



Rating: 80/80



It was a decent PPV, but I am disappointed with how the Universal Championship match ended though.

SmackDown


The first SmackDown on Fox opens with Vince McMahon coming to the ring with Stephanie.


After the opening video package, Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring.


King Corbin interrupts Becky but The Rock quickly comes out to interrupt him. The crowd comes unglued for The Great One.


Becky and The Rock share a quick handshake before Rocky poses in the corner. The Rock proceeds to tear down Corbin as only he can. He gets the crowd to call Corbin "Burger King." Corbin says this is no longer Rock's home and he is no longer The Great One.



The Rock and Becky get the crowd to chant STD at Corbin. They end up taking down The King with some tandem punches. The Rock delivers a Rock Bottom to end the beatdown.

Rey Mysterio's music hits and he comes out with Cain Velasquez by his side. The former UFC champions stare at each other as Cain gets into the ring. Brock goes after him, but Cain takes him down and beats on him until Lesnar rolls out of the ring.

After teasing another brawl, Lesnar finally heads to the back.

Pretty awesome show tonight and matches as well.
