SmackDown Live

SmackDown opens with Paige coming to the ring.

She introduces SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch

Becky takes the mic and fans start chanting her name. Becky says any time is too much time away when you're the hottest thing in the industry. Becky talks about how she wanted to fight at Survivor Series but she was stopped. She goes on and says she's done watching because she's putting herself back in the game. Becky still wants to face RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey now that she can. She calls out Charlotte Flair to the ring.

We see highlights of Flair's match with Ronda Rousey as she heads to the ring. Becky says Charlotte came pretty close to giving Ronda the beating she would have, but had it been Becky, Rousey would not have been standing the next day. She also says it took Flair channeling her to find her aggression. Charlotte says she was just being herself.

Becky calls Charlotte a bootleg who went from copying her old man to copying The Man. Flair says Nia must have knocked her silly and Lynch is just riding her coattails. They almost get into a fight but Paige keeps them apart. The GM books Flair vs. Lynch at TLC in a TLC match. Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Zelina Vega and The IIconics come out on the stage and Rose speaks for the group by saying they are insulted.

Naomi, Asuka, Carmella and Lana come out, too. Becky says she will knock all of their heads off if they want some. Paige books a Battle Royal with every woman on the roster. The winner will be added to the TLC match.

The Usos vs. The Bar

The Usos won

AJ Styles responds to Daniel Bryan

Styles says he is more upset about how he lost the title than actually losing it and shows a clip of Bryan turning heel and attacking him after their match. He says he knows what it's like to want something bad enough to cheat, but the attack after the match is what he can't take. He calls out Bryan because he doesn't want to wait until TLC, but he knows Bryan is not in the building.

Styles says he never missed a day while he was champion and rips Bryan for not being at the show tonight or this past week's house shows.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Rusev

Nakamura attacks Rusev before their match can begin. He hits a couple of Kinshasas before the officials make him leave so they can check on Rusev.

No Contest!

The SmackDown roster is on the stage to welcome Jeff Hardy as he celebrates 20 years as a WWE Superstar.

Jeff thanks the WWE Universe for being by his side for 20 years through the highs and lows. Samoa Joe's music hits and he comes out to interrupt.

Joe says the video package was great but Jeff probably doesn't remember most of it. Joe says seeing Jeff's career be celebrated makes him sick because he has let everyone down time and time again. Hardy says Joe won't rain on his parade and he challenges Joe to get in the ring. Joe walks off and laughs.

Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz

Kofi Kingston won

Randy Orton is out after the break and he has the mask he stole from Rey Mysterio last week like a trophy. He says people have described his actions a lot of ways, but he would call them euphoric. Orton doesn't care about the history of masks in lucha libre and he did what he did to embarrass Rey. It doesn't take long for Mysterio to come out, but he has a neck brace on his neck. He meets Orton in the aisle and they start brawling. Orton takes control and whips him into the barricade a few times. Rey hits a few kicks to the leg and the 619 when they get into the ring.

Mysterio grabs a chair but Orton hits him with a DDT before he can use it. Randy puts the chair to Rey's neck and rams it into the steel steps. Several officials and producers come out to help as we head to a break.

Women's Battle Royal
Asuka won and
earns a spot in the TLC match.

The show ends with Asuka posing while Charlotte and Becky look on from ringside.

Strowman is shown talking from a hospital bed before his elbow surgery. The bruise on his elbow is massive. He says he will be out for a little while but promises to return at 100% to take his revenge on Lashley, Corbin and McIntyre. Corbin says their match is still on and when Braun forfeits, The Lone Wolf will be the permanent GM. He says everyone on the roster better support him or he will make their lives hell. The lights go out in the arena and Corbin yells for someone to turn them on. Elias appears on the stage with his guitar.

Elias makes some more jokes about Rush being a child before singing the song he prepared.

Elias vs. Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley won

Nia Jax comes out with Tamina to talk about what everyone should be thankful for this year. She brags about breaking Becky Lynch's face and insults Ronda Rousey.
Jax continues to mock Rowdy Ronda while the crowd gives her absolutely no reaction other than a few small "You can't wrestle" chants. Rousey's music hits and she comes out to respond. Rousey says she is going to rip Nia's arm off and hit Charlotte across the face with it. She offers to have their title match right now but Jax declines. Natalya runs down to provide backup when it looks like Tamina and Jax are going to attack. The Riott Squad cuts Nattie off and beats her down until Rousey drives them away.

AOP (c) vs. Bobby Roode and Chad Gable for the RAW Tag Team Titles

Maverick is shown on the big screen with Roode's robe in the bathroom. He puts it in the toilet and pees on it. The distraction allows AOP to hit their finisher for the pin and the win.

Seth Rollins is out after the break for his IC Title open
challenge. He gives a quick promo before daring someone to challenge him. It appears as if Dolph Ziggler will be answering the challenge.

Seth Rollins (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler for the IC Title

Seth Rollins retains the ICTitle.

Alexa Bliss comes out to run the open forum for Sasha Banks and Bayley. The first fan asks what they would change about the Raw women's division. Bayley says she wouldn't change a thing but Banks says she would send Bliss back to
SmackDown.

Mickie James, Dana Brooke and Alicia Fox attack Banks and Bayley, but The Boss and The Hugger gets the upper hand and send them packing while Bliss watches from the ramp.

Baron Corbin vs. Finn Balor

Baron avoids the Coup de Grace and grabs a mic to announce this is now a handicap match. He calls Drew McIntyre out to be his partner. Finn takes down Drew with a dive over the top rope as he heads to the ring. Drew takes Balor down and rolls him into the ring for the Claymore to score the win.
Lashley joins the party and they take turns beating on Balor to end the show

Rating 50/50: It definitely could've been better but over all it had some decent matches and segments as we look to WWE TLC.

SmackDown Live

SmackDown opens with Charlotte coming out to explain her actions. Someone from the crowd yells "Thank you" and she says they should be thanking her because she beat down the so-called baddest woman on the planet.

Charlotte is happy with what she did to Rousey, but her smile goes away when Paige's music hits and she comes out on the stage. The GM surprisingly reveals she enjoyed watching what Charlotte did to Ronda. Flair says she is more than willing to do the same thing at TLC and Paige fines Charlotte for touching refs at Survivor Series and before long, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce come to the ring.
The IIconics mock Flair and she threatens to make one of them the next Ronda Rousey by beating them up.

Charlotte Flair vs. Billie Kay

Charlotte Flair won

Charlotte gets on the mic asking Peyton for a match.

Charlotte vs. Peyton Royce Billie Kay comes in and attacks Charlotte to cause a DQ. The IIconics beat her down as the crowd chants for Becky to make the save. Flair proves she doesn't need help when she lays out both women with a single spear. She slams Kay and Royce's head into the announce table several times. She drills Kay with a running knee to the face and whips Royce into the steel steps. She throws both women over the announce table and then clears it off.

After Flair poses on top of the table, Rey Mysterio gives a promo from backstage directed at Randy Orton.

A Miz is Awesome chant breaks out as The Miz comes out for his talk show. He says it's good to be home and welcomes everyone to MizTV. He says it was an honor to fight alongside Shane McMahon and brings him out for an interview. The Miz tries to position himself as being just as heroic as Shane despite not doing nearly as much as he did at Survivor Series. The Miz asks Shane to be his tag team partner. The Miz brings out two jobbers to face Shane and himself.

The Miz and Shane McMahon vs. Bryant Brothers
Bryant Brothers won and Miz was stunned.

The New Day says they are proud of their victory at Survivor Series and bring up how mad they are that it didn't count for some weird reason. Woods makes a few video game references and Big E makes a cheap joke about turkey breasts.

The Bar  vs. The New Day

Big E hits Sheamus with a turkey for the pin and the win

Asuka and Naomi vs. Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose
 Asuka and Naomi won

Bryan comes out after the break and says the only time he has betrayed someone was three years ago when he announced his retirement. He says he doesn't accept failure and he has realized that he should only be fighting for himself. Bryan says spending three hours each day in a hyperbaric chamber allowed him to see the truth. He says the people who cheered his return weren't there for the struggle he went through. Bryan calls the WWE Universe fickle because the Yes chant grew quieter every week.

Bryan says he won at Survivor Series because he allowed Brock Lesnar to beat the weakness out of him. As Bryan prepares to leave, he forces the announcer to call him the new Daniel Bryan.

Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton
Randy Orton won

Orton wraps a chair around Rey's head and throws him into the ring post before stealing his mask.

The show ends with a few officials coming out to check on Mysterio while Orton holds up the mask as a trophy.

RAW

Raw opens with Baron Corbin introducing Stephanie McMahon and bragging about Raw winning Survivor Series.

Corbin asks Stephanie if he can be the permanent GM since Raw won at Survivor Series, but before she can answer, Braun Strowman's music hits and he comes out. Steph also promised him a match against Corbin if Raw won, so he is here to collect.

Stephanie says Corbin will face Strowman at TLC, and if he wins, he becomes the permanent GM. If he loses, he is no longer acting GM. Braun reminds us that he gets to pick the stipulation. He also asks about his title match and Steph says he will get it at The Royal Rumble, but only if he beats Corbin at TLC. She goads Braun into agreeing to her terms. Strowman picks the TLC stipulation. The Lone Wolf decides to book Strowman in a handicap match against Lashley and McIntyre. Stephanie says she has an even better idea and makes it a six-man match with Lashley, Corbin, and McIntyre facing Braun, Elias and Finn Balor, and she says it will start right now.

Braun Strowman and Elias and Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley in an Elimination Match

McIntyre hits him with a chair to break up the pin, getting himself disqualified in the process. He keeps destroying Strowman with the chair after the ref tells him to leave. Lashley hits another Spear on the floor. Drew and Bobby continue decimating Braun while the ref fails to gain control of the situation. This assault goes on for a while.

Corbin grabs the steel steps and uses them to crush Braun's hand while Lashley and McIntyre hold it in place. The heels leave while several officials and doctors tend to Strowman.

A recap of Dean Ambrose’s promo where he burnt his Shield vest from last week follows, and commentary informs us that Seth Rollins will be up next.

Rollins comes out after the break and talks about how it has been six years since The Shield debuted at Survivor Series and recalls how dominant they were as a group. He says he thought he knew Ambrose but he has learned more about him in the past few weeks than he did over the past six years. He claims Dean never picked up the phone while he was out with an injury.

Rollins calls Ambrose out for a fight, but Dean appears on the big screen instead. He says he won't give Rollins what he wants because things have changed. Ambrose says nobody knows how they were behind the scenes and they are going to get what they deserve one way or another. He even tries to claim Reigns got sick again because of what he has done. He dares Seth to come and find him backstage ad Rollins immediately starts running to the back.

Rollins demands to know were Ambrose is from some security guards and he ends up getting into a fight. He runs off before anyone can reprimand him.

Sasha Banks and Bayley vs. Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka

Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka won

Backstage it looks like Charly Caruso is about to interview someone when Dean Ambrose appears on the screen and asks her to find Seth Rollins to tell him that he is waiting for him and he knows where he is because it used to be the place The Shield called home and walks into some room.

Rollins is shown looking for Ambrose but not finding him backstage but finds a message on the back of a door that says “Burn It Down” instead.

The Revival vs. Lucha House Party

She vows to find and finish Charlotte Flair after what happened last night. She gives a passionate promo about what it means to be a champion. Ronda demands a title match right now and says if she can't defend the belt on her worst night, she doesn't deserve to hold it. This brings out Baron Corbin to rain on her parade. Rousey tells him to go backstage and find a challenger for her title or she will beat him up. He finally agreed but warns her that whoever he finds will likely beat her after the break. We go backstage and see Dean Ambrose who says if Rollins ever finds him that there could be hell to pay.

We see Seth Rollins getting interviewed by Charly Caruso who asks him if he really is leaving and giving up finding Dean Ambrose and he says that obviously, Dean doesn't want to be found and that he has a plane to catch but he'll get Dean Ambrose at WWE TLC and then we see him leave the arena.

Michael Cole provides an update and says Braun Strowman has a shattered elbow. Dean Ambrose is shown walking toward the backstage area as we go to commercial.

Rollins runs down to the ring and attacks Ambrose. They fight into the crowd and around the ring while officials try to break them apart. Dean hits a low blow to stop Rollins from beating on him. He hits Dirty Deeds to put an exclamation point on his attack before leaving. Then, he runs back and hits another one for good measure as the show goes off the air.

AJ Styles says he has been the workhorse of WWE since he got here and he has defeated anyone he has stepped in the ring with except Brock Lesnar. He says it is his goal to win on Sunday, but he gets distracted by Paul Heyman at ringside trying to take a mic. AJ tells them to give him one and Heyman gives his usual intro for himself.
Heyman implies people would rather see Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan but he still says it's
an honor for his client to face Styles, who he calls the second greatest
in-ring performer in WWE. AJ reminds us that he tapped Bryan out in their last
encounter and Lesnar limped away from their match last year.
Bryan comes out and asks why they are even talking about him right now. He admits that he tapped out but also says he has been looking for a reason to punch AJ in the face. He threatens to do it if AJ mentions his name one more time before laying the mic down. Styles says it was Heyman who brought his name up but intense teases with his name again. RAW

RAW opens with a special tribute to all the men and women who have fought for the USA to honor Veteran's Day.

Battle Royal - Winner will be captain of Raw's Survivor Series Tag Team

Braun Strowman's music hits after a moment and he heads to the ring. Konnor goes to meet him and gets laid out. The same thing happens to everyone who tries to approach him. Once he gets in the ring everyone piles on him until he breaks free. He grabs a chair from ringside and everyone gets out of the ring. He sits in the chair and says he is done chasing Corbin. He demands the GM come to the ring to get these hands. Instead, Stephanie's music hits and she comes out.

Stephanie says she understands why Strowman is upset, but he cannot hold Raw hostage. She says Shane insulted Raw by winning the World Cup, but Braun says he doesn't care about Shane or repping Stephanie at Survivor Series. She says he had better give a damn because she is the commissioner. She proposes an idea so they both get what they want. She says if he leads the Raw team to victory, he can have whatever he wants. He demands another match against Lesnar and she agrees. He says he also wants Corbin and she agrees to that, too. She allows him to pick the stipulations to his matches, too.

Before they can finish talking, Ronda Rousey comes out to the ring. She yanks the mic out of Stephanie's hand and tells her to save the pep talk because she is already motivated to defeat Becky Lynch. Corbin's music hits and he comes out and tells everyone to relax. He says they can't afford to get overconfident and Rousey hip tosses him to the mat.

Ronda leaves, Baron yells at her and turns around with Strowman in his face and McMahon tries to get between them and yells at Corbin to shut up and not provoke him. Braun tells him to enjoy his time as Steph’s lapdog, because after Survivor Series, he’s getting neutered.

Ember Moon vs. Tamina Snuka

Tamina Snuka won

Jax gets in the ring and adds insult to injury by hitting a leg drop on her former friend while the crowd boos.

We saw a recap on the whole situation with The Shield and the outcome with Rollins and Ambrose.

Seth Rollins is out after the break to look for answers as to why Dean Ambrose turned on him. Corey Graves asks him about Survivor Series first. He asks where Rollins is at mentally as he prepares to battle Shinsuke Nakamura for the first time ever.

Ambrose appears on the big screen and says he should come out and beat up Rollins right now, but the fans don't deserve it. He says he doesn't owe anyone an explanation and mocks all of the people who were upset about it. He says Seth is probably considering all of the reasons he might have turned on him. Dean says he used to think The Shield made them strong, but the truth is The Shield made him weak. He says today is a chance to be reborn before burning his Shield
vest in a trash can full of flames. We see Rollins leave the ring and heads to the back. Did this give Rollins what he wanted?

We saw a recap of Kurt Angle vs. Drew McIntyre last week.

Drew McIntyre comes out with Dolph Ziggler after the break. He says he told everyone he was going to take over Raw when he first showed up and asks if everyone believes him now. He takes credit for breaking up The Shield and retiring Kurt Angle.

McIntyre says Raw belongs to him now and he will mold it in his image. Finn Balor's music hits and he comes out to the ring. Drew says Finn has a lot of guts coming to the ring. Balor says he couldn't listen to McIntyre talk about Angle anymore and says he crossed a line. Drew says the real reason Finn is mad is that he got his head kicked off last week.

McIntyre says Balor will get a match tonight, but it will be against Ziggler. He calls Dolph the true best in the world. Drew hits a hard headbutt to knock Balor out as we head to a break.

Finn Balor vs. Dolph Ziggler

Finn Balor won

She gives them a pep talk about what she wants them to do at SS. Back in the arena, Cole throws to a video package hyping Lynch vs. Rousey.

The Riott Squad is out after the break and Ruby says she wants to address her actions from last week. We see a clip of her breaking the sunglasses Natalya had that used to belong to her dad. Riott sounds remorseful as she talks about it, but then she smiles and says she enjoyed every second of it.

Ruby says she and her friends have had to scratch and claw for everything they have ever earned and she loved seeing Natalya cry. She says Jim used to wear those glasses because he couldn't even look at his own daughter. This prompts Natalya to come out and attack her from behind while Liv and Sarah wait for her on the ramp. Nattie takes out all three women until they eventually get the upper hand. They pour salt in the wound by hitting Natalya with the Hart Attack.

Battle Royal- Winner captains the RAW Survivor Series Tag Team

Bobby Roode and Chad Gable won and are the captains for RAW Survivor Series Tag Team

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman are out after the break.

Heyman gives the same speech he always gives when hyping his client's upcoming match. For some reason, Jinder Mahal thinks this is a good time to come to the ring. He tells Heyman and Lesnar not to underestimate AJ Styles. He offers to help Lesnar focus on his match by giving him a special mantra. Brock invites him into the ring. Mahal tells him to take a deep breath and chant "Shanti." Lesnar lays waste to Mahal and the Singhs.

Bobby Lashley vs. Elias - Winner becomes last member of RAW Suvivor Series Team
Rush holds Elias' foot so he gets counted out. Elias pulls him out from under the ring. He sends Lashley into the steel steps when he tries to intervene. He brings Lio into the ring so he can throw him right back out onto Lashley.

Alexa Bliss says Survivor Series is personal because she wants to prove Raw is the A show. She says she has put together the most talented team in SS history. Tamina, Nia Jax and Mickie James are in the ring. She says she told Natalya to go home for the night so she can focus on SS before introducing James, Jax and Tamina. She reveals the final member of her team will be the winner of the next match. Sasha Banks takes on Bayley for the final spot next. Sasha Banks vs. Bayley - Winner is the final member of RAW Women's Survivor Series Team
Tamina and Nia Jax interfere and beat up both women while Bliss laughs on the mic. Then she says Ruby Riott will actually be the fifth member of Team Raw. The Riott Squad comes out ad Ruby shakes Alexa's hand. The heels all pose together while we go backstage to see Becky Lynch with Ronda Rousey in the DisArmHer. Becky Lynch music hits and comes to the ring to confront the Raw team. Then the entire SmackDown women's team comes out of the crowd and attacks the Raw team. A huge brawl breaks out. The blue team gets the upper hand as the crowd chants "This is awesome!" Ronda Rousey's music hits and Lynch bails. Rowdy Ronda favors her arm but still manages to beat up a few women. Becky hits her with a steel chair as SmackDown continues to take control. Tamina and Nia are both taken out while Lynch continues to assault Rousey with the chair. Becky is bleeding profusely from her nose as she delivers the beatdown. A bloody champ poses with the SmackDown women's team before leaving through the crowd. The show ends with an angry Rousey watching as a bloody Lynch smiles from the crowd. Stephanie is shown ripping Corbin a new one for not preventing this from happening.

Rating 80/80: It was a great show as we look to Survivor Series and I can't wait to see if RAW gets revenge on SmackDown Live tomorrow.
