SmackDown Live

The Miz opens the show with MizTV.
The Miz plugs his upcoming reality show before welcoming Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods to the ring to reveal which one will compete in MITB. Miz says New Day has never reached their full potential because they are holding each other back.
Woods puts Miz over as a living legend, but he also calls him selfish. Miz reminds them that he has done things none of them have ever done. He says Kofi has failed too many times and Big E doesn't take himself seriously, but he puts over Woods as someone with potential. Then he gets angry when they refuse to reveal which member will be in the MITB match.
Big E challenges The Miz to a match instead of revealing who will be in MITB. Miz says no answer, no match. The New Day starts throwing pancakes at Miz and yelling "Shame" until he runs away. He runs into Paige backstage and she books Miz vs. Big E for right now and sends him back out to the ring.

RAW

After a quick rundown of what we can expect on tonight's show, Kurt Angle heads to the ring to open the show.

Angle hypes an appearance from Ronda Rousey to sign the contract for her match against Nia Jax at MITB. He also announces a Fatal 4-Way match for a spot in the women's MITB match, but he is interrupted by Stephanie before he can reveal who is in the match.

Stephanie says she doesn't hold any hard feelings about what happened at WrestleMania and she will always do what is best for business. She says he has been doing a great job since Mania, but she will be presiding over the contract signing instead of Kurt. This is when Roman Reigns decides to come out.

Reigns threatened to continue beating people up until he gets what he wants. Roman brings up Lesnar again and Stephanie tries to shut him down by saying they have heard his concerns. Kevin Owens decides to come out he brags about qualifying for the MITB match while Reigns did not.

Owens says he is actually a fan of Reigns and tries to get a Thank You Roman chant going. He also tries to suck up to Stephanie and fails miserably. She books Reigns vs. Owens to take place immediately.

Jinder Mahal jumps Reigns and the ref calls for the bell. Mahal brings Reigns in the ring so he and Owens can double team him. Seth Rollins runs to the ring to make the save.

Jinder Mahal attacks Reigns and Rollins with a steel chair after the match. He hits Roman a couple dozen times before the officials finally drive him off.

Sami Zayn says Lashley lied during his interview last week and he is here to expose him. He invites Bobby's sisters to the ring, but the people who come out are clearly imposters. The crowd is sitting in stunned silence. The fake sisters tell some lies about Lashley. It takes way too long for Lashley to finally cut him off.

Lashley plays along and pretends these fakes are his sisters for a few moments. Zayn calls Bobby garbage and threatens to kick him out of the ring. The sisters help Sami attack Lashley, but the powerhouse fights them off. The painful long segment ends with Lashley using a broom to take out the last guy in a dress.

Stephanie McMahon is in the ring after the break to welcome Nia Jax to the ring first for the contract signing.

Ronda teases Stephanie about her arm after their Mania match before sitting down. McMahon asks how it feels to pass the rest of the division to get a title shot. Rousey says she knows there are women who deserve this more, but Nia challenged her and she accepted. Stephanie says Jax may be trying to make a name for herself at Rousey's expense. Stephanie asks Jax why it took her 20 minutes to defeat Bliss for the title. Jax says Ronda would never be able to get the armbar on her. She says she will make a name for herself because she will win at MITB. The champ signs the contract, and so does the challenger. Then Ronda moves the table out of the way and offers her hand to Nia. She looks at Jax's arm and vows to break it at Money in the Bank.
