RAW

Raw opens with Kevin Owens coming to the ring. He says they are kicking off the year early because he has some fireworks. He plays a video of what happened between him and Seth Rollins.

Owens talks about how Rey Mysterio lost the U.S. Title at a house show and blames Rollins and AOP for the loss. We see a clip of Andrade winning the belt. Seth Rollins music hits and he comes out with Akam and Rezar. He says Kevin still doesn't understand what he is trying to do.

Owens doesn't wait for them to get to the ring and goes after AOP in the aisle. He gets in a few shots but AOP easily dominates him. Rollins calls the shots until Samoa Joe's music hits and he runs down in his ring gear. He takes out AOP and goes after Rollins with the Coquina Clutch. Akam and Rezar make the save. A ton of security guards run down to break up the fight.

Charlotte Flair comes to the ring and announces she will be in the women's Royal Rumble. She says everyone knows she will be in the match so there is no need to state the obvious. She challenges anyone to come out and face The Queen. Natalya's music hits and she makes her way to the ring.

The OC comes out and claims they should get the next tag title shot. This brings out The Street Profits to give their rebuttal. Ford and Dawkins remind Anderson and Gallows that they beat them in their Raw debut.

Styles says Ford and Dawkins got lucky and they should stick to their backstage skits before they get hurt. Angelo mocks them for being named after a teen soap opera. The OC challenges them to a match and it starts right now.

Randy Orton takes a long time getting to the ring. He is on crutches and is barely touching his left foot to the ground. He sounds a little choked up as he begins talking about how accidents and injuries happen all the time.

The crowd chants for Orton as he talks about having to see people retire over the years due to injury. He brings up when Edge had to retire and relinquish the world title. He says he screwed his leg up really bad last night and didn't know how bad it was until he saw a doctor to get an MRI. He says he will be out a very long time and he might not be able to come back at all. He promises to make sure somebody gets an RKO at WrestleMania before AJ Styles comes out to interrupt.

Styles mocks Orton for being injured and says fate bit Randy before he could stop it. AJ says he will put his hands behind his back to Orton can take his best shot. The Viper just stares at him looking angry. He says he is patient enough to wait until he can face Orton at WrestleMania. He kicks one of Orton's crutches in a show of disrespect. Orton says the difference between them is he is not patient and reveals he was lying about his leg the whole time by hitting an RKO.


Andrade vs. Jobber

Andrade to throw the guy out of the ring and hit his finisher on a piece of the exposed concrete floor. Ricochet runs down to make the save before it can happen. Ricochet grabs a mic and says Andrade won't pull that tonight.

Lana and Bobby Lashley Wedding

Lana gets mad when the guy officiating the wedding goes off script and mentions having kids. The crowd chants for Rusev as he continues. Lana freaks out and says this is not about Rusev. Lana and Lashley have written their own vows. Lana keeps losing her cool as the crowd keeps chanting for Rusev.

Lana gives her vows and kisses Lashley. She says she wrote Lashley's vows for him before he reads them to her. He puts the ring on her finger. We get to the part where the officiant asks if anyone has any objections. This brings out some random guy dressed in a suit. He says this wedding is a sham and should not be allowed to continue. Even the announcers have no idea who this is. He says he is Lana's first husband.

Lashley slams the guy so they can get on with the wedding. A woman comes out and objects to the wedding. She says she is Lashley's first wife. The crowd starts a Jerry Springer chant. Lana knocks her off the apron. The guy asks one more time if anyone has any objections and Liv Morgan comes out on the stage. She says she wouldn't have made it through this year if it wasn't for her true love. It turns out she is talking about Lana, not Lashley.

Lana attacks Liv and they brawl in the ring until officials come out to separate them. The guy tries one more time to finish the wedding before Rusev busts out of the cake and attacks Lashley. He beats Bobby down as Lana watches in horror. Liv comes back and attacks Lana.

The show ends with Rusev and Liv Morgan stand tall.


Rating: 60/60

It was alright for the most part until main event.

SmackDown

SmackDown opens with Elias in the ring. He sings a new song and insults Bayley, Shane McMahon and Lashley.

Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz vs. Baron Corbin in a Triple Threat Match

Corbin delivers a promo before the match but he is interrupted by Roman Reigns. The Big Dog whips him into the barricade. Corbin and his cronies run for the hills as we head to a break.

The New Day and Braun Strowman vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro and Sami Zayn

The New Day and Braun Strowman won

Kingston grabs a mic and convinces Strowman to dance with him and Big E after the match. Braun pushes them to the corner so he has enough room to get down.


Carmella vs. Mandy Rose

The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan

Corbin’s security runs down to the ring and attacks both men to cause a DQ. Bryan and Miz fight them off together.

Miz and Bryan run backstage and attack Corbin and his goons together.

A Moment of Bliss

Evans talks about how she snapped last week when Sasha Banks got in her daughter's face. She says if the officials hadn't pulled her away, Banks wouldn't have left the arena last week. Lacey says she knows what happens on WWE talk shows and heads to the ring because she knows Bayley and Banks will be out eventually.
When Dana Brooke is supposed to make her entrance, Bayley and Banks drag her onto the stage. Evans runs up to the stage to make the save and a huge brawl breaks out.

The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Baron Corbin in a Triple Threat Match

Daniel Bryan won and will face The Fiend at Royal Rumble for the Universal Championship.

As Bryan celebrates his win, Bray Wyatt appears on the tron to congratulate him. He gives Bryan his usual cryptic warning.

The show ends with Bryan leading a Yes chant.

RAW

We see a video showing Seth Rollins and AOP attacking KO two weeks ago. Before he can say anything, Mojo Rawley comes out to confront him. He says Owens needs to explain himself for attacking him with a steel pipe.

Rollins and AOP come out to confront Owens after the break. Seth tells Akam and Rezar to stay out of the ring. Rollins says he and Owens don't have any more issues but KO disagrees. Rollins offers his hand in peace but Owens looks uninterested in making nice. He nails him with a superkick before Akam and Rezar pounce and take him down. Owens blocks a Stomp but AOP beat him down again.


Cedric Alexander vs. Bobby Lashley

Drew McIntyre vs. Zack Ryder

Drew McIntyre won

McIntyre attacks Ryder and Hawkins after the match.



Becky Lynch comes to the ring for a promo. She says she likes herself better when she is kicking butt and claims the company is trying to protect her. She says she wants to face Asuka and she won’t take no for an answer. Asuka comes out with Kairi Sane and mocks Lynch in Japanese. Asuka says she will become Asuka 2 Belts and Lynch agrees to defend the title and she tells Asuka to name a place and time.

Buddy Murphy won

Black comes back to the ring and offers a handshake. Murphy refuses and tries to take a cheap shot but Black levels him with Black Mass.

Akam and Rezar attack Mysterio to cause a DQ.

Rollins and AOP continue to attack Mysterio after the match is over. They drag him up the ramp to the stage. Samoa Joe stands his ground and refuses to move when they try to put Rey through the announce table. Joe gets up and prepares for a fight but Rollins backs them off. He tries to make peace with Joe but ends up sicking AOP on him. They beat Joe down and put him through the announce table while Rollins hits Mysterio with a Stomp. 

The show ends with AOP and Rollins standing tall.

SmackDown


SmackDown opens with a recap of Bray Wyatt vs. The Miz at TLC.


Bryan talks about the first time he looked in the mirror after losing his hair and beard. He says his daughter cried when she saw him because she only knew him as the brand he had built. She didn’t recognize him, but he recognized himself. He dares Wyatt to come to the ring so he can prove The Fiend can feel pain.




Instead of getting Wyatt, The Miz comes down. He says what happened to Bryan was bad but reminds him that Wyatt went after his family. Miz says he plans to take the Universal Championship from Wyatt. Baron Corbin's music hits and he comes out on the stage.



Corbin says Bryan and Miz have failed as WWE Superstars and fathers. Bryan and Miz throw their mics away and approach Corbin when Dolph Ziggler ambushed them from behind. He helps Corbin hit Bryan with End of Days.





Heavy Machinery vs. The Revival in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight

Sami Zayn tells Braun Strowman he got his name for secret Santa. Braun says if Sami wants to get him a gift, a shot at the IC title would be great. Zayn says they have a tag match to worry about.



Carmella vs. Sonya Deville

The New Day vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro


Nakamura and Cesaro and Zayn attack The New Day after the match.



Strowman makes the save and clears the ring of Sami Zayn and his crew.



Bayley vs. Dana Brooke


Bayley won


Lacey Evans makes the save after the match and challenges Sasha Banks.


We see Lacey’s daughter watching in the crowd as Banks gets counted out while beating Evans down at ringside. Evans daughter yells at her until Evans tackles Banks. Lacey Evans loses it while Brooke and Bayley try to separate them.

RAW

Raw opens with a recap of Seth Rollins and AOP attacking Kevin Owens last week.

Rollins comes to the ring after the intro video and introduces AOP as his newest allies. He talks about how the crowd used to say he was the future until everyone changes their mind for some reason. He says what happened to Kevin Owens was his own fault.

Seth says he is the man who will lead WWE into the next decade and beyond and he will drag the crowd with him kicking and screaming if he has to.

Erick Rowan vs. a Jobber

Erick Rowan won




Lana and Lashley come out to gloat about his victory over Rusev at TLC. The crowd quickly turns on this segment. She asks him to ask her to marry him and hands him a ring she picked out for herself. He says he doesn't like it when anyone tells him what to do...except her. He gets down on one knee and proposes. She says yes.


Gauntlet Match

Andrade attacks Carrillo from behind. He hits a pair of running knees in the corner before throwing Humberto out of the ring. He rips up the mat surrounding the ring. He whips Carrillo into the barricade and hits the Hammerlock DDT on the concrete floor. Rey Mysterio runs down and Andrade backs off for the moment. Andrade leaves through the crowd while medics come to take care of Humberto.

Mysterio is still out there when Seth Rollins and AOP come to the ring. He tries to fend off Akam and Rezar to no avail. Rollins teases handing him a pipe before AOP takes him out. He gets mad at Rey for giving Owens a pipe last week to use against him.


Asuka vs. Deonna Purrazzo

Asuka won


Becky Lynch is shown giving an interview and basically states she still has a debt to collect and her name is Asuka.


Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles

Randy Orton won

Anderson and Gallows run down to attack Orton but The Viking Raiders make the save. The OC gets the upper hand and end the show standing tall.

The Viking Raiders come out and say they have dominated everyone on Raw. They put forth an open challenge for their titles. The crowd chants for them as they wait to see who answers. The OC's music hits and we see Gallows and Anderson come out with their trophy from Crown Jewel.

Ivar wipes out The OC with a suicide dive and both teams end up being counted out.

Erik and Ivar put Anderson through the KFC table to end the segment.

As Wyatt celebrates, The Fiend appears on the tron. Wyatt goes under the ring and finds a huge mallet. The crowd chants "Let him in." The lights go halfway out and Wyatt looks excited. He yells "He's here!" He turns around to see Daniel Bryan hit a running knee. Bryan reveals his new look with short hair and a trimmed beard. He unleashes the Yes Kicks on Wyatt.

Bryan picks up the mallet and prepares to hit Wyatt but the lights go out. They come back on and Wyatt is gone. Bryan poses for the crowd as his music plays.



Rusev vs. Bobby Lashley in a Tables Match

The Kabuki Warriors (c) vs. Becky Lynch and Charlotte in a TLC Match for the Women’s Tag Team Titles

Asuka climbs up and takes down the titles to retain for her team. The brawl with Corbin, Reigns and everyone else spills out into the arena.


Reigns Spears Corbin into a pile of guys as the show goes off the air.

SmackDown


SmackDown opens with Dolph Ziggler in the ring waiting for King Corbin to come out on his throne.


Corbin talks about everything he plans to do to Reigns at TLC. He says if Roman shows up tonight, he will receive something worse than he got last week. Corbin says the locker room was happy with what he did last week and has Ziggler put him over.


Ziggler tried to get an "All hail King Corbin" chant going but he is interrupted by The New Day. Kofi and Big E run down Corbin and say what they did to Reigns was stupid. The King insults Kofi's title reign and the former WWE champion slaps the taste out of his mouth. Corbin says he will humiliate Kingston tonight and walks off.



Bliss and Cross are giving an interview backstage when Rose and Deville run back from the ring to attack them. They fight out to the stage and a few officials attempt to break up the brawl.

The Miz's interview is interrupted by Maryse screaming. Bray Wyatt appears on their nanny cam, but he is nowhere to be found when they check on her. They just find a creepy doll. When we go back to the arena, Wyatt appears in The Firefly Fun House with the same doll.

 Baron Corbin vs. Kofi Kingston


Roman Reigns comes down and dismantles everyone on Corbin's crew. The King attacks him with his scepter but The Big Dog hits Superman Punch. Ziggler nails Roman with a superkick. The Revival holds Roman down on the announce table, but he breaks free and sends Dolph crashing through an announce table.


The show ends with Reigns helping Big E and Kingston.

RAW

The show opens with Jerry Lawler in the ring ready to oversee the divorce of Lana and Rusev.

Lana comes out with her lawyer. Rusev comes out in a shirt with a picture of Donald Duck on it. He gives Lawler a big hug and looks like he is on top of the world. Lana says she used to love Rusev and defended him when nobody believed in him.

Lana says the Rusev Day movement went to his head and the crowd starts chanting for Rusev. She blames the fans for being part of the problem. Rusev plays the clip of her and Lashley being arrested last week. Lana says Rusev will never find someone as good as her ever again. He says he can barely stand her so he wouldn't want someone just like her again. She flips out and yells at him.

Lana tells the booing crowd to have some respect and Rusev suggests they sign on the dotted line. She says she is signing first and she gets the dog. Rusev's only complaint is that he wants the dog. She signs the divorce papers and he says he needs one more thing from her. She thinks he wants to have sex one more time but he says he just wants a match with Bobby Lashley. The All Mighty comes out.

Lashley ends up attacking Rusev after saying he plans to marry Lana. Rusev hits the Machka Kick and puts Lashley through the table with a belly to belly suplex.

The Viking Raiders won and retain the RAW Tag Team Titles



Owens says he has been looking for AOP but hasn't found them. We see footage of them arriving backstage.
Owens and Rollins argue about AOP until Seth leaves. AOP comes on the tron and threatens Owens. Then, Sami Zayn comes out with Mojo Rawley. He says he can move between brands because he has a managerial license. He says he is a liberator and he wants to set Rawley free. Sami says KO was out of line when he slapped Rawley. He asks Kevin to apologize to Mojo.
Owens tosses Mojo the pipe and hits him with a Stunner. Sami reads the room and leaves the ring while KO unloads on Rawley with the pipe.

We see Owens doing some damage to AOP’s van with his lead pipe backstage. They attack him and end up hitting his head with a car door. Rollins appears in the van to reveal he was behind it as if that was supposed to be a surprise. He says he is sorry before he hits a Stomp on the concrete floor.

When we return from the break, Rollins makes his way out and asks what the crowd wants from him. He says he and the crowd used to get along and somewhere along the way it went wrong. He says he did everything right. He doesn't take nights off and fights through injuries to perform for the crowd every night and he gets spit on and disrespected.

Rollins says he had nothing to do with AOP until tonight. He goes off on the crowd for being ungrateful in what might be his best promo in years. He says he was forced to side with AOP because he had no other choice. Akam and Rezar come stand next to him and a new stable has formed.


Becky Lynch vs. The Kabuki Warriors in a 2 on 1 Handicap Match

Asuka ends up using a steel chair to get herself disqualified. She and Sane pull a table out from under the ring.
Kairi puts Becky through the table with an InSane Elbow. A few officials help Becky while The tag champs gloat on the stage.



Erick Rowan vs. Jobber

The ref stopped the match but it didn’t prevent Rowan from continuing his attack after the bell and accusing the jobber of trying to hurt someone he loved.



Becky and Charlotte will challenge The Kabuki Warriors for the women's tag team titles on Sunday. We also get a Weekend Update-like segment with The Street Profits.



Rey Mysterio (c) vs. AJ Styles for the US Title

Randy Orton slides into the ring and then slides right back out without doing anything. Rey rolls up AJ for the pin and the win right as the show goes off the air.
