SmackDown opens with Shane, Stephanie, Rowan and Daniel Bryan in the ring for the Fastlane WWE title match contract signing.

Shane recounts some of Kofi's career highlights, including some of his Royal Rumble saves over the years. They spend quite a bit of time talking about his career before Kingston actually heads to the ring.

Kingston takes a lap around the ring to high five everyone before he talks about his 11-year journey to this match with Daniel Bryan. The entire time he talks, Bryan just stares at him with a look of hatred. He thanks the fans for everything they have done to support him and make this happen.

Bryan signs the contract before saying a single word. Kofi is about to sign on the dotted line when Vince McMahon's music hits to interrupt him.

Vince says he is thankful for everything Kofi has done over the last 11 years, but he says his job is to provide the highest caliber competition he can, and that is why he is replacing Kingston in the WWE title match. Big E and Woods yell at Vince from the ring. Vince says Kofi is going to be replaced by Kevin Owens and the returning KO heads to the ring.

Owens sits down and signs the contract while The New Day yells at him. Kingston looks like he might cry as he leaves the ring. The crowd chants Kofi's name as he leaves the stage. All the while, Owens and Bryan are staring at each other.

RAW

RAW opens with a video package showing Roman Reigns revealing his battle with leukemia to the WWE Universe.

Reigns comes out when the show goes live. The crowd gives him a warm welcome. He looks a little nervous but still takes the time to give everyone along the aisle a high five. The Big Dog takes his time going around the ring to acknowledge all the fans at ringside.

The crowd chants Roman's name for several seconds as he looks around with a nervous but thankful look on his face. They chant "Welcome back" as he grabs a mic. He starts by thanking everyone and says he will probably say that a lot. He says he missed the fans and talks about how there isn't another fanbase like them in the world. The crowd chants "This is your yard" and he says it's "our" yard. He starts talking about how scared he was to reveal his diagnosis.

Reigns says he was overwhelmed by the level of support he received from the WWE Universe. He says this whole situation has given him a new purpose. He says he used to think about titles, but now he just wants to make sure he can step into the ring every night. He vows to use his platform to raise awareness and support those in need like he once was. He says he should probably get to the update WWE advertised. He says they hit a home run with his treatment and he is happy to announce he is in remission. The crowd goes wild with applause.

He screams "The Big Dog is back" and the crowd chants "Welcome back." He thanks the crowd one more time before his music plays to end the segment.

Seth Rollins comes out on the stage and hugs his Shield brother. Ambrose didn’t come out which was odd given the situation.

Aleister Black and Ricochet vs. Revival

The Revival attack Black and Ricochet before the match started.

Aleister Black and Ricochet won

Elias is trying to perform, but he is interrupted by Lacey Evan and then by Dean Ambrose. Elias tries to play his song again after Ambrose says he wants a No DQ match against Drew McIntyre.

Ambrose eventually hits Dirty Deeds and leaves. The Riott Squad comes out before Elias is even out of the ring.

Ronda Rousey and Natalya vs. Riott Squad

Becky Lynch comes out of the crowd and hits Natalya with a crutch. Ronda comes to her aide and it takes several producers to keep them apart. Some cops come down to arrest Lynch just like Triple H said they would if she showed up again.

Ronda Rousey comes to the ring and demands Vince McMahon come to the ring. Stephanie's music hits and she comes out instead.

Rousey says they need to reinstate Becky so they can settle their problems at WrestleMania. Steph says Lynch was just arrested and Ronda says they can drop the charges. McMahon says Rousey will face Charlotte at Mania.

Rousey demands that Steph reinstate Becky and Stephanie gets angry. She says Rousey has a bad attitude and nobody is bigger than WWE. Rousey says she isn't owned by the McMahon family. She says the title means too much to let this happen. She lays the belt in the ring and leaves.

Kurt Angle vs. Jinder Mahal

Kurt Angle won

Alexa Bliss is out after the break for another episode of her talk show. She welcomes Finn Balor as her guest after trashing Ronda for a moment.

Bliss flirts with Balor and is about to make him an interesting offer when Lio Rush comes out on the stage. Lio says this talk show is a sham and Balor doesn't deserve to be the IC champion. Rush says he won't leave until he takes the title back from Balor. The champion makes it sound like Rush wants to prove he is better than Lashley. He says he would like to defend the title against Rush and Bliss goads him into accepting.

Finn Balor (c) vs. Lio Rush for the ICTitle

Finn Balor retains the ICTitle

Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Lashley

Strowman runs around the ring and runs Both men over. His music hits and he walks away, so no actual match will take place.

Dean Ambrose vs. Drew McIntyre in a NO DQ Match

Elias comes down and smacks Ambrose with a guitar. He sets him up so McIntyre can hit the Claymore Kick for the pin and the win.

Lashley and Corbin come down to join in on beating up Ambrose after the match, but Rollins and Reigns come out to make the save. They take out all four men who were attacking Dean. Reigns ends it with a Spear to McIntyre. They end up leaving before Ambrose recovers but then look back toward Ambrose as he is getting up. The start of The Shield reunion you all know we will get it before Ambrose leaves. (Which I am still hoping he doesn't).

Bayley vs. Nia Jax
Bayley won

The roster is on the stage after the break. The ring is decorated for Ric Flair's birthday celebration.
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon make their way out. Shawn Michaels is also brought to the ring to help celebrate.
Ricky Steamboat and Sting are also brought to the ring. We see a video package highlighting Ric Flair. Stephanie H reveals a custom title for Flair.
Ric Flair doesn't come out when his music hits and we go backstage to see Batista. He pulls an unconscious Flair out of his dressing room so Triple H can see him. He asks is he has Hunter's attention now. Triple H runs backstage and finds Flair on the ground. He yells for a doctor as the show goes off the air. I smell a Batista vs. Triple H at WrestleMania. I'd dig it.

Rating: 80/80 Pretty great show leading to WWE Fastlane and WrestleMania. Wish there was less commercials.
