SmackDown Live

Daniel Bryan opens the show by bringing out Shane McMahon for his contract signing.
AJ Styles is out next. He sits down very casually while Shane tries to think of what to say to him. He tells AJ that he was always part of his vision for SmackDown and he is one of the greatest talents to work in a WWE ring. Styles agrees with him. The Shane vows to take him to the limit at WrestleMania.
Styles reminds Shane this will be a regular wrestling match, which is something Shane isn't as good at as AJ is. After they sign the contract, Bryan has to get between them so things don't get physical. He asks them to shake hands to seal the deal. AJ refuses and leaves the ring.

Becky Lynch vs. Carmella
Mickie and Alexa argue on commentary while Lynch makes a comeback. James and Bliss get into a fight at ringside and end up in the ring. They cause a DQ and everyone starts fighting each other. James and Lynch come face to face

Cena comes out and says The Miz and Maryse were actually pretty funny, and calls it one of the few good things Miz has done. Then he gets serious and talks about all the things Miz is wrong about.

Cena says the only reason The Miz had Maryse brought back is so he could be on Total Divas. He really lays into Miz for being lazy and useless, and for the first time ever, Miz keeps his mouth shut and listens to every word.

Seth Rollins limps his way to the ring with the help of a crutch to sign the hold harmless agreement for his match against Triple H.

Triple H demands Rollins sit in the chair while he explains all the right he is giving up by signing the contract. Triple tells Rollins he is basically giving up any safety net he has and will end up being destroyed at WrestleMania.

No matter what Triple H says, Rollins tells him to sign the contract and hand it over. Triple talks for a long time about how Rollins is making the wrong decision.

Rollins says he used to like himself before he met Triple H and he was perfectly happy wrestling for food in an armory. He says this match is about redemption, not revenge. Seth regrets giving up every friendship he had to stand next to Triple H. He grabs the pen, signs the contract and throws the pen at Triple H. Trips kicks the table into the bad knee and then kicks it out from under him.

Triple H grabs the crutch, but Rollins surprises him with an enziguiri. He ends up back dropping Triple H over the top rope to avoid a Pedigree. He gets in one good shot with the crutch to send The Game back out of the ring to end the segment.

Over the Top Rope Challenge

After eliminating Mahal, Big Show makes equally quick work of Bo Dallas. The Shining Stars come out at the same time, but The World's Largest
Athlete throws them out with ease. Goldust, Curtis Axel and R-Truth rush the ring and all seven men go after Big Show at the same time. They get him over the top rope, but he gets angry and runs back in to take them out one at a time.
Braun Strowman comes out with a mic and says he could kick Big Show's butt if he wanted to, but he won't because that is what everyone else wants. He says we will have to wait until WrestleMania as Big Show challenges him to come to the ring.

Neville vs. Jack Gallagher
Neville won

Roman Reigns heads to the ring to address The Dead Man
As Reigns talks about wining Rumble in Philly and headlining WrestleMania, he says this WrestleMania is important because he will be ending Undertaker's Career. The Undertaker came on the big screen from the graveyard and he talks about adding an grave to his collection.
The Undertaker cuts off mid-sentence and the lights go out in the arena. Taker is in the ring when they come back on and he finishes by saying Reigns will rest in peace. Reigns stands his ground as the lights slowly fade out again.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass come out after the break to hype their tag title match at WrestleMania.

As Anderson and Gallows make their way to the ring, Cesaro and Sheamus take them out with the same ladder they were attacked with earlier. They rush the ring and go after Enzo and Cass. Cass is able to get the upper hand for a moment, but Anderson takes out his leg. After all the mayhem is over, Anderson and Gallows are the last men standing.

KO vs. Sami Zayn in a Disqualification Match

Samoa Joe comes down to the ring and grabs a steel chair. Chris Jericho's music hits and he attacks Joe from behind after sneaking through the crowd. He grabs the chair and unloads on Joe before Owens takes him out. Zayn rolls up Owens and gets the win to keep his job and earn a spot in the Battle Royal. Owens attacks Zayn after the bell, but Y2J makes the save and sends him running.
Jericho adds KO to the list

Sami Zayn won

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman head to the ring
Heyman delivers another one of his classic promos about how Lesnar will destroy his opponent.
Goldberg comes out on the ramp, but he doesn't go all the way to the ring. He says people came to see them fight, not talk. He thinks it's a good idea to bring WrestleMania to Philly and he heads to the ring. Lesnar tries to meet him in the aisle, but he gets dropped with a Spear.
The show ends with Goldberg standing tall in the ring with his Universal Championship while Heyman helps Lesnar up the ramp.

Rating 80/80

Great show and promos but also matches as we
look on to WrestleMania! The Match Card looks insane and I can't wait to watch

SmackDown Live

SmackDown Live opened up with an recap of the last week actions of AJ Styles and involving Shane McMahon.
SmackDown kicks off backstage with Daniel Bryan. He is soon joined by Styles, who seems like he's in a great mood and asks about Shane. Bryan tells him he has no idea what he's gotten himself into and adds that Shane was a man about the situation because he didn't ambush Styles.

Styles tells him that he felt so good demanding his opportunity last week that he wants to do it again. We then see Styles strolling down the ramp toward the ring.

Styles says that Shane must be crazier than anyone thought and then accepts his challenge. He admits that he wants to be at WrestleMania cause its the Ultimate Thrill Ride. However, he still maintains that Shane needs this match because the blue brand would crumble without him.

He then tells us that he's going to wait for Shane and added that if we thought that last week was bad, this one will be phenomenally worse.

We return from the break to see Bryan on a call with Shane. He warns Shane that Styles is waiting for him. Shane says something that we can't hear and Bryan smiles and says it might work.
Corbin walks in on him and demands Ambrose. Bryan tells him that he hasn't heard from Ambrose in a while. Corbin then says he's glad to have a day off and almost leaves. Bryan stops him and gives him a match with the Viper instead.

American Alpha vs. the Usos for the WWE Tag Team Titles
The Usos won

 Baron Corbin vs. Randy Orton
Both men lie on the canvas until Ambrose appears on a fork lift and says, 'Corbin, you busy?'. Orton takes advantage of the distracted Corbin and finishes the bout with an RKO.

Randy Orton wins.
Ambrose then walks to the ring and asks Corbin if he wants a match for the IC title at 'Mania and tells him he has got it. He underlines his statement with a DDT and then storms out.
Young asks Orton what his response is after Wyatt's actions last week on the Titantron. He says he doesn't know what he should do to get rid of Wyatt and as he speaks, the light dims and all of a sudden Orton is surrounded by men in sheep masks. Orton tries to fight them but is overpowered.

Tyler Breeze seems to have chosen to dress like Nikki Bella.

Before the match starts Fandango takes the mic and gives Cena tickets. He finally tells him that he will expose him for the poor wrestler that he is. He then introduces his 'muscle' as Breezy Bella. Cena points toward the ramp and Nikki Bella walks down it.

Fandango vs. John Cena:

After Fandango throws some tickets at Cena, John takes control and finishes with a five knuckle shuffle. Breeze tries to help Fandango but is speared by Nikki Bella. The couple then plant the tag team in sync with an AA and a rack attack 2.0. They then finish the bout with the STF.

Cena wins.

Becky Lynch vs. Carmella:

Becky starts with a spin kick to the body and Carmella rolls out of the ring. Lynch follows his and lands a right hand. As they re-enter Carmella lands a boot to her face. However, before she can take advantage, she is ambushed by Natalya who clotheslines her.

Carmella wins by DQ.

James then joins the fray, followed by the Champ. James takes out Natalya and is inturn taken out by Bliss. Lynch then dives on Ellsworth and Carmella from the third rope and hits Ellsworth. After all the chaos, Alexa is left standing tall in the center of the ring.

Renee catches up with Styles backstage and asks him of his intentions. A car pulls up and Rhyno & Slater walk out, meanwhile Shane's music goes off in the arena. He strolls down the ramp and into the ring.

Backstage, Renee tells Styles that Shane is in the ring waiting for him .
He tells AJ that he acts like a tough guy only when he has his back turned. He goes on to say that Styles could have handled it by speaking to him man-to-man or thrown down instead of ambushing him.
He then threaten to go to Styles if he doesn't want to come out.

Styles paces slowly down and walks into the Gorilla position. He stops, picks up a mic and walks out. He starts by telling Styles to calm down by taking ten seconds. He tries to tell Shane to understand him and says that he made a mistake. He then says that he's sorry.

He goes on to say that Shane did him a favour and says he's not like the other McMahons. He then says that he is going to walk into the ring and sincerely apologize man to man. As soon as he steps in, Shane rains right hands and the action pours out. He then plants Shane onto the barricade. Styles picks up the exhausted Shane, who turns it around into a suplex.

Shane then picks up a monitor, after clearing the commentary table and slams Styles with it. He places AJ on the table, climbs on the top rope and slams into AJ and the table with an elbow drop. The crowd is left chanting 'HOLY SHIT" as SmackDown draws to a close with Shane pointing at the WrestleMania sign.

RAW

WWE RAW opens with a look back at last week’s main event segment.

We go right to the ring and out comes RAW General Manager Mick Foley.

He reads a prepared statement and says he stands in front of us a humble man, who has been privileged to be our General Manager. He thanks Triple H and Stephanie McMahon for giving him the opportunity of a lifetime, one he put in jeopardy last week when he shoved Mr. Socko into Triple H’s mouth. Foley apologizes for that. Fans boo. Foley doesn’t want his personal issues with Stephanie to distract from the ultimate thrill ride – WrestleMania 33. A “no!” chant breaks out when it appears Foley is about to announce his departure. Foley announces that he’s taking a leave of absence effective immediately. Fans boo. Foley tears up the index cards and gets a pop. He says Triple H handed him the index cards 10 minutes before going live. He’s Mick friggin’ Foley… the mic starts going out and fans boo. Foley rants until the music hits and out comes Stephanie.

Stephanie hits the ring and rips into Foley. She says this has always been about Foley being right, not the locker room or the fans. Fans start chanting Foley’s name. Stephanie says he only cares about himself, not what’s best for business. Stephanie says Foley can’t even make the big decisions so she has to do it for him. Stephanie has wanted to say something to Foley for a long time… she has two words for him: you’re fired! Stephanie is in Foley’s face. She tells him to get out of the ring but a “no!” chant starts up. Foley goes to the apron to leave but Sami Zayn’s music hits and out he comes.

Sami says what Stephanie is doing to Foley is wrong. Sami says Stephanie has made a lot of wrong decisions but no one has had guts to tell her to her face. Stephanie knocks Sami and tells him to help his broken down mentor to the back so they can move on with the show. CM Punk chants start up now. Foley heads to the back while Sami watches from the apron. Sami says Foley has shown more class and integrity in 9 months as GM than Stephanie has her whole life. Sami says Stephanie should be ashamed of herself. Stephanie mocks Sami and says she wasn’t listening to him. She says Sami is talented but he’s not on the level of someone who can come out and question her, or even speak to her at all. Stephanie tells Sami to go to the back and think about how he’s going to make this up to her. She mocks Sami again as Foley looks on from ringside. Sami looks to leave but he has second thoughts. The smart thing would be for him to go to the back but he’s about doing the right thing, not the smart thing. The music hits and out comes Samoa Joe.
Stephanie tells Foley to get out once and for all. She puts Sami in a match with Joe that will begin right now. Foley heads up the ramp while Sami leaps from the ring and takes out Joe on the floor. Sami is fired up as we go to commercial.

Samoa Joe vs. Sami Zayn

Dana Brooke vs. Charlotte

Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel with the guest of KO

Jericho welcomes us and says tonight’s guest will be the “real” Kevin Owens. Jericho disses Owens and says he doesn’t need Owens to be his best friend because he’s got a lot of friends, right here in Brooklyn tonight. He’s got The Friends of Jericho to cheer him on, maaan. Fans chant Y2J now. Jericho says Owens considers himself to be a prizefighter but that’s not the real Kevin Owens. Jericho shows us a photo of a 16 year old Owens posing in a Y2J t-shirt. Jericho knocks the young Owens and says he didn’t look like a prizefighter, he looked like a Fan of Jericho… he was marking out, maaan.
Jericho shows us a Twitter conversation between he and Owens when Owens reached out to him for advice in 2014. Jericho goes on and brings up their match at WrestleMania 33. Jericho says when his music hits and he walks down the aisle, it’s going to transport Owens back to when he was the 16 year old nerd in his basement with the Y2J t-shirt on. Jericho says Owens will then realize what he’s gotten himself into and who he’s facing – his idol. Jericho goes on and calls Owens a stupid idiot, which causes a chant to start up. Jericho goes to add Owens to The List again but Samoa Joe appears on the stage. Jericho turns his attention to Joe, allowing Kevin Owens to attack from behind.
Owens unloads on Jericho and beats him around the ring. Owens nails a pop-up powerbomb. A “stupid idiot” chant starts as Owens picks up The List. He fails to lift Strowman for a Samoan drop and gets taken down with a clothesline. Reigns recovers and hits it on the second try. Strowman tries to bring the steel steps into the fight, but Reigns hits him with a Superman Puch before he gets the chance. He lines up for the Spear when The Undertaker's gong sounds. Taker appears in the ring and hits the Chokeslam to Braun Strowman. Before Reigns hits Taker with a Spear.

SmackDown Live

The show opens with a recap of last week's Talking Smack. The showdown between Shane and AJ Styles backstage is highlighted.

This was a brutal segment, and it set up their eventual match at WrestleMania.

After the break, Shane is shown refusing to go to the emergency room. He needs the help of two men to walk to his office. Then we see AJ taking his bag and leaving the locker room. Bryan stops him with security and says AJ made a huge mistake. AJ asks if he is going to be fired and Bryan says yes. This ain't going to be the last time we see AJ he'll be back. Foley says she is the only one who deserves to go because she treats the wrestlers poorly. He says he treasured their friendship, but she lied to him about Triple H interfering in Rollins' match with Owens six months ago. He calls her a good liar and a bad person and says she needs to go.

After Foley tells Stephanie he will not be silenced, Triple H makes his way to the ring. He threatens to rip Foley's leg off and beat him with it, and Foley says he would probably just assign the task to someone like Samoa Joe.

He tells Foley to tuck his tail between his legs and leave so he can realize he needs this job for his kids. He tells Foley to leave the ring, and he looks like he is about to, but he stops at the last second. Triple H grabs him and Mick sticks Mr. Socko in his mouth. Stephanie hits him with a low blow to make him break the hold.

Triple H picks up the crutch Rollins dropped and runs back to the ring. Rollins gets in the first few shots, but Triple H gets him in the knee with
the crutch. Trips takes off his jacket before continuing to assault the bad leg. He uses a reverse Figure Four and Rollins screams in pain as several officials pull them apart. Seth is able to stand up, only to take another shot from the crutch to the bad knee. The show ends with Triple H and Stephanie looking smug while Rollins is looked at by officials.

Rating 80/80

The show was better then last week and had some great matches and promos as we look closer to WM33 and the ending was pretty great other than Seth probably hurt his knee more and I hope not for WM33.
