SmackDown Live

The show opens with a recap of The Royal Rumble.
AJ Styles was shown talking to Shane and Bryan about when he would get his rematch for the WWE title. They say they have to think about it, but for now, Styles will face Dean Ambrose later tonight.
Cena starts off by apologizing to Styles for underestimating him. He says AJ is an elite WWE Superstar who brings out the best in him. He gets hyped up and says his signature catchphrase, which brings out The Wyatt Family. Specifically, Randy and Bray.

American Alpha come out to have an Open Challenge
Chad Gable expected one team to answer their open challenge, but they ended up getting every team on the roster. As soon as Slater and Rhyno hit the ring, a huge brawl breaks out.



AJ Styles vs. Dean Ambrose w/The Miz and Baron Corbin at commentary
AJ Styles won
Miz and Corbin start fighting at ringside, so Ambrose hits Corbin with a suicide dive. He takes out The Miz and gets back in the ring, only to end up being put down with a Styles Clash to give AJ the win
Miz comes in and hits the Skull Crushing Finale on Ambrose. Corbin grabs Miz and hits the End of Days, and then he hits another on Ambrose for good measure. The show ends with Styles on the ramp and Corbin in the ring.

RAW

Opens with Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho coming out to celebrate Owens' win over Roman Reigns at the Rumble. Owens is limping and has his arm wrapped up to show the wounds of his battle.

Owens introduces himself and Jericho to us as if we don't know who he is and what title he holds. KO brags about beating Reigns last night and proving Mick Foley wrong. He admits he had some help, and you think he is talking about Strowman, but he ends up thanking Jericho for his moral support and friendship.

Jericho talks about how he has been in Rumble matches for more time than anyone else in WWE history and how he lasted over an hour in last night's match.
Braun Strowman comes out and demands a title shot, showing Owens promising him a title match last month if he took out Reigns. Mick Foley comes out and says KO should defend the belt against Braun.

Foley books Strowman vs. Owens for the title tonight. Is it too obvious Reigns is going to pay Braun back for last night by costing him the match?

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring after the break for a confrontation with Stephanie McMahon.
Stephanie tells Rollins that Triple H isn't at the show tonight, and she asked him to stay away because she is afraid of what he would do to Rollins. She says Rollins should be begging for forgiveness for what he did Saturday at NXT TakeOver. Rollins apologizes, for exposing Triple H as the gutless coward he is.

Braun Strowman vs. KO (C) for the Universal Championship w/ Jericho on commentary
Ends in DQ because Reigns comes out and gets involved and in which causes the DQ and then continues the attack on Strowman which by the way didn't take him much time to get back up and even speared KO before leaving the ring


Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman come out after the break looking more pissed off than ever before. The crowd chants Suplex City until Heyman starts talking.
Heyman talks about how every great fighter has an opponent who has his number. He runs down a list of legends who were all unbeatable until they faced their nemesis.
Brock Challenges Goldberg one more time at WrestleMania 33

Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax
The bell rings without the ref calling for it in what may have been a technical error on the timekeeper's part. Jax eventually releases the hold, but she ends up putting it back on.

Jax only releases the hold and leaves after Bayley comes down to check on her friend.


Big Cass and Enzo vs. Rusev and Jinder Mahal
In a Texas Tornado Tag Match

Triple H Came out
Triple H talks about how he made Seth Rollins what he is, but as soon as the pressure was too much, he collapsed and hurt his leg. He mocks Rollins for crying when he relinquished the title. He calls Rollins a failure who doesn't take responsibility for his own shortcomings.
Trips says he is trying so hard not to be the guy who injures people and ends careers, but Rollins is making it hard. He says he is done trying and takes off his suit jacket, and tie.
Triple H calls out Rollins to the ring, and it doesn't take Rollins long to oblige.
As Rollins is about to enter the ring, Samoa Joe comes out of nowhere and attacks him. Trips leaves the arena so Joe can decimate The Architect. Seth tries to fight back, but he ends up being choked out by The Samoan Submission Machine.
Show Ended with Samoa Joe standing tall staring down Seth Rollins

That main event was amazing. The show and the matches were just as great also.

The show was awesome and the matches was pretty awesome as well. The Royal Rumble Match I was wrong I was completely on team with Undertaker but Reigns had to be #30 but it is great to see Orton wining the Royal Rumble.


Maybe we'll do an Royal Rumble Aftershow seeing as the Predictions didn't go up as planned do to the new camera software problem and then it took forever to upload. So I apologize for that but I will do the after show though. Also, bummer Rollins didn't show up but he was banned but he still come face to face to Stephanie on RAW.

SmackDown Live

The show opens with Daniel Bryan being interrupted while trying to eat a shiny red apple. The Miz asks why he doesn't have his own locker room and Bryan offers to give him a stall in the public restroom. Then he ends up giving Miz a rematch for the IC title against Dean Ambrose, but he makes it a Lumberjack match so Maryse won't be the deciding factor

Wyatt went into the ring and reached out his hand to Luke to help him up and then he grabbed him like a hug and then gave out him in sister Abigail and then Orton and Wyatt walked away.

Renee Young welcomes Mickie James to the ring so they can discuss her return and what happened in last week's main event.
  James seems upset about the women's revolution getting so much attention while her generation paved the way without getting credit. She credits Bliss with bringing her back to WWE to explain why they are aligned. Her promo was pretty stellar, but an interruption was inevitable. Becky Lynch matches to the ring and attacks. She chases James into the crowd, where a waiting Bliss blindsides her and helps James finish her off in the ring.

Battle Royal for a Spot in the Royal Rumble

Before AJ Styles calls John Cena to the ring, he shows the Royal Rumble poster. His head is way in the back of the group while Cena is front and center. He demands Cena come to the ring, and since his character won't allow him to back down from someone calling him out, he heads to the ring.
AJ plays a clip of Cena showing him disrespect on The Today Show. He runs down Cena and claims to have fully replaced him as the face of SmackDown. Cena lets him talk for a long time before responding.
Cena and Styles sold that segment like the pros they are. Cena played the homegrown hero to Styles' international star. Exchanges like these are why Cena still has his spot in WWE.
That segment was amazing!


Dolph Ziggler vs. Kalisto
Dolph Ziggler won

Ziggler grabs a chair from ringside. JBL gets up from the announce table, but Apollo Crews is the one who blindsides Ziggler and sends him into the ring post.

After Nikki Bella is shown attacking Natalya backstage, Naomi says she still wants a match and issues an open challenge. Alexa Bliss comes out and mocks her for not being on TV for over a month and pretends not to know who she is. Bliss refuses to fight her and leaves after delivering one last insult. While it would have been nice to see Naomi actually wrestle, knowing she is being put into the hunt for the title is still a great end.

The Miz vs. Dean Ambrose (C) for the IC Title in a Lumberjack Match

We shall Chaos with the Lumberjacks and then brawling inside the ring, but Dean Ambrose retained the IC Title. The Show ended with Dean Ambrose standing tall and holding up the IC Title.

I thought it was an awesome show and great matches. Super excited for Royal Rumble.

RAW

The show opened with a recap of last week's main event.
Roman Reigns delivered a promo about Royal Rumble and his match against KO for the Universal Championship and Jericho being in the shark cage above the match, which was interrupted by Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens.
KO asks Roman if he’s okay, because he sounds delusional or he has an overactive imagination or maybe he’s just confused. Something did happen to him that confused him last week, he got a receipt for all the countless superstars he’s powerbombed through the announce table
Jericho calls Reigns a stupid idiot. Jericho threatens to walk to the ring and knock Reigns chicklets out of his mouth. Reigns asks Jericho if he is offering him a rematch. Owens tells Reigns that he can have his rematch. Jericho is livid. Owens says he had a premonition that Reigns doesn’t have a chance. Reigns says he is going to win the U.S. title back tonight, and he is going to win the WWE Universal championship at Royal Rumble. Why? Because Reigns is something Owens will never be in the WWE: The Guy.

Bayley gives an emotional interview to Corey Graves about what being the No. 1 contender means to her.
Foley informs Rollins that if he loses against Zayn, he loses his own spot in the Rumble. Rollins vs. it
Zayn is up next.

  Sami Zayn won thanks to Triple H's music hit and it distracted Rollins enough for Zayn to pick up the win

After the match, Braun stands tall when Big Show's music hits and out he comes. Braun waits for a fight. Show enters the ring and they stare each other down from a distance. Braun ends up backing out of the ring as fans boo. Braun yells about doing things on his own terms. Show's music hits as he stands tall and Braun marches to the stage.


Roman Reigns vs. Chris Jericho for the United States Championship
Roman Reigns won by DQ due to KO getting involved and causing the DQ and Jericho retains

KO tries to put Reigns in the shark tank but Reigns grands KO and smashes him into the cage and then did the same to Jericho and then locked KO into the shark cage and then sends him up and Jericho tries to hold on to it but Reigns super man punches Jericho off of it. Then Reigns spears Jericho and the segment ended with Reigns standing tall.

Nia Jax vs. Miss. Lynn
Nia Jax won

She talks some trash about Sasha Banks and how her career is over. The crowd gives her the What treatment until Banks' music hits and she heads to the ring with a crutch and a brace on her leg.
She uses her crutch and beats the stuffing out of Jax. She sends Nia out of the ring and hits the double knee from the apron to the floor.


Rich Swann vs.  Noam  Dar
Rich Swann won

He grabs a mic and calls out Neville for a fight. The King of the Cruiserweights marches his way to the ring, but he decides against getting both feet in. Swann attacks him with a suicide dive to keep
 him from running away. A ref separates them and Neville retreates up the ramp.

Goldberg makes a long walk for what seems like forever until he finally steps through the curtain. He tries to start his promo a few times, but he keeps stumbling because of the crowd. Once he finally gets going, he talks about how he will stop at nothing to get to the Universal Championship.  Just before he can say the 29 guys in the match are Next, Paul Heyman interrupts him from the stage.
Heyman runs down all the possible people Goldberg could end up in the ring with during the Rumble, which leads him to his own client, Brock Lesnar. His music hits and The Beast Incarnate comes out to surprise everyone.  Goldberg challenges Lesnar to come to the ring, and Lesnar starts making his way down the ramp. He circles the ring with a smile on his face as Goldberg waits for him to actually get in the ring.
Lesnar and Goldberg come face to face, but then the lights go out. The Undertaker appears in the middle of the ring when they come back on.

The show ends with all three men staring each other down.


Rating 100/100

Awesome Main Event! This and Seth vs. Sami was incredible on its own. As, we get closer to Royal Rumble! I'm grading on just half of the show but most the show was entertaining as well.

SmackDown Live

The show opens with a video hyping what's in store for tonight's show, with all the focus on Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss fighting inside a steel cage.
When we go live to the arena, we see the cage hanging ominously above the ring.
Shane McMahon's music hits and he comes out.
Shane greets the Memphis crowd before talking about the upcoming Royal Rumble. He runs through some of the big names already announced for the match. Ambrose's name gets a surprisingly big pop.
He also talks about how the WWE champion will defend the title inside the Elimination Chamber before WrestleMania. This brings out AJ Styles to protest the decision.
Shane says he wants the best of the best to fight for the title at the Chamber. He says AJ is one of the best and what he has accomplished is phenomenal, except his attitude.
AJ threatens to take the WWE title to Japan and never come back. He says it's unfair to have to defend the title inside the chamber. John Cena comes out next to tell AJ why he's a coward.
Duelling chants break out for AJ and Cena before Cena tries to talk. AJ cuts him off and tells him to shut up and keeps complaining about the chamber match.
He wants to know why all of SmackDown is against AJ and who else is going to try to steal his spotlight. This brings out The Miz to steal his spotlight.
Miz says he will not only regain his IC title, but he will win the WWE Championship and headline WrestleMania as a double champion.
Styles criticizes Miz for hiding behind his wife, so Miz unleashes a few insults of his own.
Cena hilariously antagonises both men during their exchange.

The Miz vs. AJ Styles w/John Cena on commentary
AJ Styles picks up Miz and throws him at Cena.
Cena blocks it and chases Styles into the ring as the ref calls for the bell. 
DQ Decision
Miz goes after Cena, but gets hit with an AA. Styles tries to hit him with the Phenomenal Forearm, but he too gets taken out with an AA.

Nikki Bella heads to the ring. She grabs a mic and talks about how she wants to fight Natalya right now.
Nattie is in the crowd with a mic. She says she wants Nikki to see something and then takes off. A video plays on the tron showing Natalya heading out to one of the merch stands and destroying some Nikki Bella stuff.
She wants to know why Bret has a shirt up there and she doesn't. She says Bret and Nikki will both die alone and then grabs all of Nikki's shirts so she can throw them away.
Nikki finds her and tackles her into a table. They fight until some security members come to break them up. Nikki knocks one of them out before going after Natalya again.
They fight for a long time before they are finally separated.


Dean Ambrose vs. Randy Orton

Lawler is introduced to a nice reception for The King's Court. He is even wearing his classic cape, crown and ring gear.
He wastes no time bringing Dolph Ziggler to the ring to discuss his recent shift in attitude. Ziggler walks to the ring.
King welcomes him, but Ziggler says nothing. King says he has known Ziggler for a long time and always thought he was a good person, but his recent actions have changed his mind.
Ziggler still says nothing. No matter what Lawler says or asks, Ziggler remains silent.
Ziggler goes to leave the ring, but King talks him into coming back. Ziggler finally speaks and says he knew King would try to make him look bad.
Dolph decides to show some footage of his own, and it's the video of Ziggler hitting him with an elbow drop on 2012 shortly before he suffered a heart attack.
Ziggler says he is willing to finish what he started. King tells him he will always be a loser no matter how many times he changes his attitude.
Ziggler looks like he is about to leave when he superkicks King right in the chest. As Ziggler walks away, King yells at him to come back to the ring if he has any guts.



Alexis Bliss (C) vs. Becky Lynch in a Steel Cage Match for the Women Championship
Alexis Bliss won thanks to La Luchadora who was later found to be Mickie James

La Luchadora celebrates with Bliss after the match. They start stomping away at Becky to add insult to injury, or in this case it might be injury to insult.
She rips the mask off La Luchadora and it's Mickie James. They take out Becky and James raises Bliss' hand in victory.

RAW

When we go live to the arena, Roman Reigns comes out
Reigns talks about losing the U.S. title, but says he is going to win the universal title because nobody can beat him right now.
This brings out Paul Heyman to rain on his parade.
As Heyman tries to talk, loud Goldberg chants ring through the arena. Heyman says Goldberg is not here, but his client is. But instead of Lesnar coming out next, we get Jericho and Owens.
Jericho tells everyone to watch...it, while Owens brags about being the longest reigning universal champion in WWE history.
Seth Rollins comes out.
Rollins only gets to talk for a few seconds before Braun Strowman's hilarious entrance music hits and he marches to the ring to square off with Reigns.
Then Lesnar's music hits.
Sami Zayn comes out of nowhere and attacks Strowman in the ring, which causes a huge brawl to break out. The babyfaces clear the ring before Lesnar comes in and takes out Rollins, Reigns and Zayn all by himself.
Strowman gets on the apron and stares at Lesnar as the crowd chants Yes over and over. He drops off the apron and the crowd boos.
Reigns takes out Lesnar with a Superman punch, but after he takes a moment to get rid of Jericho and Owens, Lesnar pops up and hits him with an F5.
The segment ends with Lesnar standing tall in the ring while Strowman backs up the ramp.

WWE runs a story about Nia Jax attacking Sasha Banks while doctors were evaluating her injury earlier today.

After a quick video package for The Undertaker, a recap of the U.K. title tournament is shown.

Then Cole throws to a video showing Banks being attacked earlier today while being evaluated.


Cesaro and Sheamus (C) vs. Anderson and Gallows for the Tag Titles
Anderson and Gallows via DQ

The original ref waves off the decision and says Anderson and Gallows are indeed the winners, but by DQ, so they do not win the titles.


Gallows and Anderson takes out Sheamus and Cesaro in a fit of rage before Byron talks about a segment involving Charlotte scheduled for later.


WWE plays a video package remembering Jimmy Snuka.

New Day are out after the break to talk about the Power of Positivity. They take in the New Day Rocks chants for a long time before Woods starts talking about the Rumble.
They talk about all the big names in the Rumble match. Big E brings how this match is every man for himself, but they say that if any of them win, they all win.
Titus comes out to interrupt them for the third week in a row. He says he doesn't want to be in The New Day anymore. He wants to replace them.
He says they should give him one of their Rumble spots, and challenges one of them to put their spot up against him in a match.

Charlotte makes her way to the ring.
Charlotte talks about how she has the best PPV record and how she was destined to be better than everyone. She says the only reason Bayley is so popular is because she is just as average as they are.
She shows a slideshow if pictures Bayley has taken with other wrestlers over the years to portray her as nothing more than a fan.
Charlotte shows footage of Bayley reading something she wrote in school about how she wanted to become a wrestler. Charlotte pretends to cry before taking out her own copy to mock Bayley
  After what felt like way too long, Bayley comes out to confron the woman who spent the last five minutes tearing her down. Charlotte bails as soon as Bayley hits the ring.
She grabs the mic and asks why Charlotte is doing all of this. She says she is not embarrassed to be a fan.
Bayley talks passionately about how her father brought her to shows even when he didn't have enough money.
She recites some bad poetry about how she will beat Charlotte for the title at the Royal Rumble.

Kurt Angle has been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame of 2017


Chris Jericho and KO and Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn
Chris Jericho and KO and Braun Strowman won
Strowman picks up Zayn and carries him up to the stage. Rollins comes with a steel chair to help Sami, and Reigns is able to ground the big man with a Spear.
Rollins and Reigns take apart the announce table, but they are interrupted by Owens and Jericho. Rollins stops them from powerbombing Reigns through the table.
He hits a Pedigree to Jericho on the stage before he gets taken out by a chair shot from Owens. KO also finishes off Reigns with the chair before surveying all the damage.
Kevin picks up Reigns and powerbombs him through the announce table. The show ends with Owens as the last man standing.

Rating 90/90

Incredible show and matches as it gets closer to Royal Rumble! The Main Event was pretty intense and awesome!

SmackDown Live

The show opens with a recap of the recent events between The Miz, Maryse, Renee Young and Dean Ambrose.

Dean Ambrose comes out holding the IC Title!
And Hosting Ambrose Asylum and announcing he is entering Royal Rumble!
Of course he says he is interviewing The Miz
Miz says every day Ambrose is champion, he taints the title's glory a little more. He also announces he will be in the Rumble match.
Miz complains that he should have been disqualified instead of Maryse being booted from ringside last week. He gives Ambrose the opportunity to hand him back the belt like it's the right thing to do.
Ambrose looks like he is considering it for a second, but then he just gives him a Miz Participation Award. 

Nikki Bella is walking backstage when Natalya comes out of nowhere and attacks her, throwing her into a garage door.

After the break, an injured Nikki heads to the ring to face the woman who just attacked her backstage. She doesn't wait for the bell and immediately tackles Natalya and starts beating on her.
Natalya gets the upper hand in the aisle and rams Nikki into the barricade. 
It takes four refs to pull them apart as the crowd chants Let Them Fight! Nikki breaks free and gets a few more shots at Natalya. 
Natalya delivers a chop block to the leg before throwing Nikki out of the ring. She locks in the Sharpshooter next to the ring to punish the leg even further.

No Contest- Bell never got hit


Dolph Ziggler is interviewed backstage about what happened last week with Kalisto and Apollo Crews. Ziggler stonewalls her and walks away.

Kalisto won
Ziggler levels Kalisto after the match. He looks frustrated with everything as he leaves the ring. He grabs a chair and goes back to the ring so he can inflict even more damage.
Apollo Crews tries to come help his buddy, but Ziggler superkicks him and smacks him in the back with the chair. He takes another shot at Kalisto before finally leaving.


American Alpha (c) vs. Wyatt Family for the Tag Team Titles
American Alpha won 
Orton and Harper start arguing after the match, but Wyatt gets between them. Harper goes to superkick Orton, but he hits Wyatt by mistake.
Wyatt gets in both of their faces when he recovers, and then he just walks away. 

Alexa Bliss walks in and tells Bryan that Becky shouldn't get a title match. Bryan books Bliss to defend the title next week against Becky in a steel cage match.
Back in the arena, Carmella and James Ellsworth head to the ring.

The show opens with Stephanie McMahon giving Mick Foley a performance review for 2016.
Seth Rollins walks in and says he will be competing in the Royal Rumble match. Just then, Braun Strowman demands a match with Goldberg or Roman Reigns.
Rollins attacks Strowman and it takes several members of security to break them up. Steph tells Foley to get things under control.
Back in the arena, Reigns heads to the ring. 


Before the bell rings, Braun Strowman's music hits and he starts heading toward the ring. Reigns leaves the ring and the two start fighting in the aisle.
Strowman throws Reigns into the ring where Jericho and Owens pounce on him. All three men start beating Reigns to a pulp.

Seth Rollins runs to the ring with a steel chair. He tosses it to Strowman and kicks it into his face like RVD used to do all the time.
Reigns gets his own chair and they clear the ring, using two simultaneous chair shots to knock Strowman from the ring. Stephanie comes out and says this is not how this match will end.
She says the U.S. title match will take place later so Reigns can recover, but Rollins will face Strowman right now

No Contest Ends in Double Countout

He tosses Rollins back in the ring and grabs a steel chair from the timekeeper's area. Rollins is able to kick the chair away and pick it up to fend off the giant.

Shawn Michaels comes out 
HBK acts like his energetic entrance has already worn him out. He says he has missed seeing the WWE Universe on a regular basis, especially during this time of year.

He talks about the Rumble being in his hometown of San Antonio and the Rumbles he won 20 years ago.
He starts talking about all the big stars who have already been announced for the Royal Rumble match. The crowd starts chanting "One more match." 
Shawn jokes and says "Don't try to peer pressure me." He says the real reason he is here is to talk about his new movie, The Resurrection of Gavin Stone.
Rusev and Jinder Mahal come out with Lana to interrupt the segment.
Rusev says HBK should use CGI to put Lana into his movie like they did in Star Wars. HBK says that's not how movies work.
Enzo and Cass come out to help HBK, with Enzo still rolling around in his wheelchair. 
Enzo puts over HBK as the realest guy in the room. He says Rusev is right about Lana being a good actress because she acts like she is attracted to Rusev.
Big Cass and Enzo run through some movies Rusev could be in like The Good,The Bad and The Ugly.
Rusev threatens to put all three of them in a wheelchair, so Cass steps up to him and says they can finish this one on one if he wants. Rusev says Cass will face Mahal instead.

HBK hits Rusev with a superkick, much to the delight of the fans. Cass hits the Empire Elbow to get the pin and the win.

Neville attacks Dorado after the match! Rich Swann came out for the save and stands tall as Neville leaves the arena to the back


Sasha and Bayley are shown asking Stephanie for a match against Jax and Charlotte next week. Stephanie says they can have the match, but it will happen tonight.

Mick Foley comes out to produce Undertaker 


Mick Foley talks about working with The Undertaker at the start of his Mankind gimmick. 
Stephanie says she has to give Foley his performance review right now since Taker isn't there. She says for every step forward Mick takes, he takes two steps back.
She blames him for losing to SmackDown in the ratings and creating a false buzz for Taker tonight.
The lights drop out again, but this time it's The Undertaker's music we hear through the speakers. He emerges on the stage as Smoke fills aisle.

Foley hands Taker the mic, and he rips the WWE logo off of it before he starts talking. Loud Undertaker chants fill the arena as he says "I'm back." 
He immediately says he will be entering the Royal Rumble. We see Strowman watching on a monitor in back for a moment. He says he answers to no one and goes where he wants, when he wants.
He brings up how he lost at WrestleMania in the same town they are in now, but his journey continues through the Royal Rumble. 
Taker leaves the ring after saying he will bury all 29 opponents. He heads up the ramp, turns to look at the ring one more time and raises his fist in the air.

New Day come out
After the break, Titus O'Neil apologizes to Woods for hitting him last week and begs for another chance to be part of The New Day. 
Kofi plays footage of Titus in the original NXT almost seven years ago, mainly
when he tripped trying to carry a keg around the ring.
They mock Titus and reveal they have a keg at ringside for him to try carrying again. Kofi tells him the keg is filled with booty juice.


Titus actually grabs the keg and tries to run around the ring with it. He circles the ring and beats the time they set up for him by half a second, but they say he dropped the keg before he reached the finish line.


Titus shoves Kofi after they show the replay, so Kofi asks the crowd if they want to see him take on TItus. They obviously say yes, so this match will happen after the break.

Roman Reigns (C) vs. KO and Jericho for the US Title in a handicap match 

Chris Jericho won two on one is kinda difficult but it was a awesome match!

KO & Jericho Celebrated their win to close the show!

Undertaker & Shawn Michaels bought this show together and their was some great matches leading up to Royal Rumble and the main event was pretty good!

SmackDown Live

The show opens with The Miz w/ Maryse heading to the ring.


He says Young sacrificed her journalistic integrity for some Dirty Deeds with Dean Ambrose. This  brings The Lunatic Fringe to the ring.
The Miz bails, but Maryse stands her ground and gets between Dean and Miz. She slaps Ambrose before leaving with her husband. Ambrose says Maryse hits way harder than The Miz to end the segment.


Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler

He grabs a steel chair after the match, but Kalisto runs down to the ring to make the save
Ziggler gets up, sees Kalisto in the ring helping him and superkicks his head off. He yells that he doesn't need his help and doesn't need anyone.



Becky Lynch vs.  La Luchadora.
Becky Lynch won
Becky tears the mask off to reveal it's Alexa Bliss. The other woman in the mask comes out from under the ring and they double team Becky.


Daniel Bryan comes out and introduces John Cena for the contract signing. And then introduces AJ Styles.
AJ asks why Cena is being given a title match when he has been off TV for four months. Bryan says they beat Raw in the ratings last week, and it's because of the two of them.
He says the big match everyone wants to see is what will keep them going in the right direction. Styles accuses Bryan of favoritism since Cena and Bryan are basically family.
Styles says Cena is just like The Rock now and has lost his passion. Then he says Cena will never be as good as The Rock in Hollywood or as good as he is in the ring.
a lot of fans start chanting Cena's name while Styles signs the contract. Cena says he knew he was wrong about The Rock and apologized because he is a man.
He also says being a man means pushing back when someone goes after you. Cena says he lost all respect for Styles.
Cena finally signs the contract, and that is when Baron Corbin's music hits and he comes out to brag about his accomplishments.
He declares his intent to win the Royal Rumble and go on to WrestleMania to win the title. Cena and Corbin argue, but Styles blindsides Cena with a kick.


Maryse is shown backstage walking up to Renee and slapping the taste out of her mouth.

The Wyatt Family comes on the screen to taunt the new champions.




Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz (C) for the IC Title
Dean Ambrose won and is now THE NEW IC Champion.


Ambrose grabs the title and celebrates while Miz realizes what happened. The show ends with The Lunatic Fringe standing tall.

SD Live is always insane. And this week was awesome, great matches and action. Of Course the Main Event of the show was incredible. I look forward to Royal Rumble but also, I'm watching Talking Smack tonight to see the madness of the Miz lol.

RAW

The show opens with Mick Foley in the ring. He says one of his resolutions was to write the name of the city they are in so he doesn't forget like he did the last time he was on TV.
As he starts talking about the shark cage for Jericho, Kevin Owens and Y2J come out to interrupt.

Jericho and Owens complain about the shark cage stipulation at Royal Rumble. Owens especially has a problem with having to defend the title against Reigns at all.
Foley says he wants to start the new year fresh. He says he has heard a lot about the Kevin Owens Show, so he is going to let him interview Goldberg on his own talk show segment tonight.
Stephanie McMahon heads to the ring.


The segment goes off the rails a little bit when everyone starts arguing. Stephanie complains about SmackDown beating Raw in the ratings last week.
She books Owens vs. Rollins for right now.


Seth Rollins vs. KO- loser will be banned at ring side during the Reigns vs. Jericho US Title Match later tonight!

Seth Rollins won via DQ, KO is banned from ring side.



Cesaro vs. Karl Anderson w/Sheamus on commentary and Luke Gallows at ringside.

Braun Strowman vs. Sami Zayn in a Last Man Standing Match
Braun Strowman won
Mick brings a stretcher down with some EMTs to take Zayn out of the arena. Strowman runs back down and knocks Zayn off the stretcher so he can throw him into the barricade



The New Day come out after the break to talk about their 2016. They announce that they are entering the Royal Rumble match.
Titus O'Neil comes on the mic and mocks Big E's intro before coming out to interrupt.
Titus says he should be the newest member of The New Day. He even brings a whistle so he can play New Day's theme.
The New Day don't seem too excited about the idea of bringing him into the group. Woods says people would rather see Titus on the back of a milk carton.
Titus says Woods is the weakest member of the group, so Xavier challenges him to a match. Titus punches him and then accepts the challenge.

Big Cass says Enzo can't fight tonight, so he is going to fight both Rusev and Mahal by himself in a handicap match.

Bayley vs. Nia Jax in a #1 Contender Match for the Women's Championship w/ Charlotte at commentary.

Bayley won and is now the #1 Contender to The Women's Championship at Royal Rumble I mean thinks to the distraction from Sasha Banks to Nia for Bayley to get the win.

Owens gives an intro you think is going to be for Goldberg, but it is actually for Jericho. Y2J mocks the crowd for chanting Goldberg's name, and he puts the whole city on the list.
Jericho announces himself for the Royal Rumble match. Owens asks why he is in the match because if he wins, they have to face each other at WrestleMania.

Goldberg's music hits and he makes his way through the backstage area to the ring.

Goldberg says that since Jericho is in the Rumble, he's first. Owens tries to calm Goldberg down and tells him to have a seat. Goldberg throws the chair out of the ring.
Goldberg gets right in their faces and Owens asks if he is supposed to be intimidated by him. Owens throws the table and chairs out of the ring to show he can do it too.
As they yell at each other, Paul Heyman comes out on the stage.

Heyman tries to say Lesnar will win the Rumble, but Goldberg cuts him off and says he will eliminate Lesnar to face either Reigns or Owens at WrestleMania.
This brings out Reigns to add his two cents. He gets in Goldberg's face, but Strowman comes out before anything can happen. He grabs the mic from a cowering Heyman and says if anyone will win the Rumble it's going to be him.

Reigns and Goldberg look at each other and deliver a double Spear to take Strowman off his feet. The show ends with Goldberg standing tall as Reigns heads to the back.

Better then last week. Great matches and ending as we look closer to Royal Rumble. Next Week looks to be incredible with Undertaker and Shawn Michaels on RAW.
