Triple H walks out and tells Seth that there are no more automatic rematches for titles and how maybe Rollins doesn’t deserve it. SmackDown Live

SmackDown opens with Shane McMahon addressing the SD roster backstage about the upcoming changes to the product. He says they need to create the best possible product for the fans and for themselves. He gets everyone riled up, except Big E who is eating a pancake while staring into the camera for some reason. Paige is brought up and Shane thanks her for all she has done for everyone at SmackDown Live and said she isn’t going anywhere but was relieved of her duties as GM. What’s next for her though?

Becky Lynch heads to the ring to kick things off in the arena. As usual, the crowd gives her a warm welcome. She says it doesn't matter who runs the show because The Man is in charge. She says the ring is where the real business is conducted and she demands a match with Ronda Rousey from the McMahon family.

Charlotte comes out and tells Becky to take a number because she gets Ronda first. Becky calls Ronda a Roddy Piper cosplayer and Charlotte a Ric Flair cosplayer. Charlotte says she would have won if it weren't for Rousey interfering. Before Lynch can respond, Asuka comes out with the title proudly wrapped around her waist.

Flair and Lynch say Asuka shouldn't be champion because she wasn't responsible for beating them. Surprisingly, Vince McMahon's music hits and he heads down to the ring. He wishes everyone a happy holiday and congratulates Asuka. He asks why Becky and Charlotte are making excuses for themselves when the match had no rules. He tells them to get over it and take it up with Ronda Rousey. He asks if Asuka would like to defend her title tonight and she says yes. Instead of giving a title shot to Lynch or Flair, McMahon brings out Naomi as Asuka's first challenger. Becky and Charlotte are not happy at all.

The Usos are out after the break asking for The Bar to come out, but Gallows and Anderson appear instead. They talk about siting on the sidelines for four months and not having the patience to watch rap battles. A ref comes down and this match is made official.

The Usos vs. Gallows and Anderson

Sanity comes out of nowhere and causes a No Contest when they attack both men. The Bar watches on as Sanity destroys everyone in the ring.

The Bar runs in the ring and attacks everyone after Sanity destroyed them I guess to put a exclamation mark on the attack and this left the teams laying and The Bar and Sanity standing tall.

Mustafa Ali
Mustafa Ali and AJ Styles win

The show ends with Mustafa Ali and AJ Styles celebrating their win.

RAW

The show opens with Vince McMahon coming to the ring. He talks about how Raw has been forced to change with the times over the course of 25 years. He gets some What chants before he brings out Stephanie McMahon.

Stephanie is in the ring for all of 10 seconds before they bring out Triple H. Shane McMahon also heads down to the ring to join the family reunion.

Stephanie says they haven't been doing their jobs by giving the fans what they want, but that changes tonight. Triple H says the four of them will be taking back Raw and SmackDown as the only authority figures. Triple H says we will be seeing new faces, new Superstars and new matches. He says the fans are now The Authority. The segment ends with Vince saying WWE will always be here for the fans. Before they can leave, Baron Corbin comes out.

Corbin keeps getting booed every time he tries to talk. Triple H asks the crowd to stop and they just boo louder. Stephanie encourages them to boo louder so Vince can hear them. Corbin says he tries to do his best every night and the crowd chants "You suck." Corbin says he wasn't ready for what happened last night and calls it unfair.

Triple H finishes Corbin's statement for him and says he probably wants to be GM of Raw. Corbin says he is right and he would have won if it wasn't for the several Superstars who attacked him. The McMahons huddle together before telling him no. Vince says he has an idea to give Corbin one more chance. He will become GM if he wins his match against Kurt Angle.

Heath Slater is named the special referee.

The Revival won and is the #1 Contenders to the RAW Tag Team Titles.

Ronda Rousey is out after the break to talk about what happened at TLC. She gets a big pop but then a Becky chant breaks out. She says she did exactly what she said she would do to Nia Jax and she doesn't owe anyone an explanation for what she did to Becky and Charlotte. She talks about what it means to be a real champion.

Rousey says every champion should defend their title the night after a PPV to prove they are worthy and she issues an open challenge for right now.

We see several women arguing backstage about who should get the title shot at Stephanie tells them to all shut up and follow her to the ring.

Stephanie says she is done playing favorites and will give everyone a chance in a gauntlet match. The winner gets Rousey for the title

The Lone Wolf is about to leave when Finn Balor gets in his way. Slater takes off his ref shirt and throws it at Corbin before laying him out.

Everyone comes in and starts taking shots at Corbin with their chairs until he falls out of the ring. Corbin gets up and prepares to leave up the ramp when Kurt Angle's music hits. Raw opens with Seth Rollins in the ring to address his situation with Dean Ambrose.

Rollins starts by inviting Baron Corbin to the ring so he can spit some truth, as he put it. The GM says they should have their conversation in private but Seth tells him to cut the crap. He says under Corbin's leadership, Raw has sucked.

Rollins says The Revival has been booked poorly and the comedy segments have been really bad in recent weeks. He also criticizes the choice to give Lesnar the title.

Corbin says Ambrose will beat Rollins for the IC title and he will beat Strowman by forfeit in their TLC match to become the new permanent GM. He says he is going to put Rollins through hell until he quits. Rollins challenges him to a TLC match for tonight. Corbin agrees and books it for the IC Title.

Natalya says Ruby doesn't respect the wrestling business and talks about everything it took for her to get to where she is today. She dedicates her match on Sunday to Jim Neidhart and promises to put Riott through a table. That is when The Riott Squad comes out on the stage with a special table covered in a black sheet.

Riott says Natalya brings disgrace to the Hart family name. She reveals a table with a big picture of Jim Neidhart on it. She says she is going to put Natalya through this exact table so she can be close to her daddy. The crowd boos Riott as she laughs at a crying Natalya.

Ambrose almost calls Rollins a piece of you know what but he stops short. Charly asks Ambrose how he thinks Roman Reigns would react to what is happening between Ambrose and Rollins. Ambrose pauses and says “who cares?” Charly shows Ambrose footage from the night of Reigns’ announcement and then it leads up to everything that created this feud.
