SmackDown opens up with an recap of the Intercontinental Championship match last week between AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan.

To kickoff the show It's the Intercontinental Championship Ceremony! Renee Young introduces the Phenomenal AJ Styles to the ring, which is surrounded by SmackDown Superstars. 

Styles tells everyone around the ring that this is the closes they'll ever get to the Intercontinental Championship. AJ refuses to give out handouts, and won't be a fighting champion.

Before this can continue, Styles says that Renee Young isn't the right person to present him with the championship. It should be the man he beat last week, Daniel Bryan. 

Bryan is having second thoughts, but Styles claims he's not a real man if he doesn't award the new champion his title. Bryan eventually does it and congratulates Styles, but it's not good enough for the newly crowned Intercontinental Champion. 

Bryan claims that Styles can possibly be the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time. That is...if he can actually face the Superstars around this ring. Like..maybe Drew Gulak, who pinned Styles two weeks ago on SmackDown!

Styles shuts it down and says whoever wants to step up and challenge him will deal with the consequences. Almost as if he was waiting for his queue, Matt Riddle's music hit. 

Styles calls Riddle just another performer looking for a handout. Riddle denied that, stating that he's actually here to give Styles some advice. 

If Styles is the Face that Runs the Place, Riddle is the Bro that Runs the Show. 

Styles takes a cheap shot at Riddle but is sent to the floor before demanding a ref.

Renee Young interviews Hardy backstage about his journey over the past few months. Hardy says he's been trying to turn his life around for a long time. 

Hardy has doubts about himself. As a performer, a father, a husband, etc. However, the important thing is to catch himself before those doubts send him spiraling back into the darkness. 

Chad Gable vs. Mojo Rawley

MizTv with Miz and Morrison with the guest of Mandy Rose 

Miz apologizes for what happened at Backlash. Morrison isn't upset, as he says that the rules were changed beforehand. Originally, they were supposed to walk out Co-Universal Champions. However, at Backlash, just before the match, they were told whoever got the pin would be champion. 

They nearly chase Mandy Rose off with stupid questions. However, Miz stops her, saying that they've got a surprise for her. It's Sonya Deville! 

Rose says she's tired of this and wants to move on. Deville refuses, reminding her of all the opportunities she's been given and how she's squandered it all. 

Deville insults Otis, which is the straw that breaks the camel's back. Rose says that Deville has nothing to show. No titles, not much success in WWE, and no friends.

Deville again claims that Mandy Rose is only in front of her because of her looks, when she's better than her in every other way. 

Mandy manages to get the best of Deville in a brawl, but Miz and Morrison get between them. Mandy slaps Miz before walking off. 

The New Day vs. Lucha House Party

Sasha Banks and Bayley are attacked at ringside by Nikki Cross, who then demands a match with the Boss. Bayley accepts the match for her best friend.

 The Firefly Fun House is back!

Bray Wyatt says since he left, he's joined a book club, learned all the TikTok moves, learned to resurrect the dead, learned to knit, and even infiltrated a reptilian stronghold! 

Ramblin Rabbit reminded Bray that he was sitting in the corner muttering to himself after losing to Braun Strowman. Braun Strowman interrupts Wyatt before he can address his loss at Money in the Bank. 

Strowman enters the ring and says that their story is over. Wyatt says the chapter is over, but the story isn't. He turned into that old Bray Wyatt character, which seemed to get under the skin of the Universal Champion. 

He said that all Braun has to do to find him is, of course, follow the buzzards.

WrestleMania 36

The kickoff panel hypes tonight’s match card..

Drew Gulak vs. Cesaro 

Cesaro won

The kick off panel also hypes tomorrow’s match card. 

Renee Young, Mark Henry, and Booker T are live from their homes via video to break down Shayna Baszler vs Becky Lynch. 

WWE WrestleMania starts off with Stephanie McMahon, who says that this WrestleMania will be the most different of all. 

She said that it was WWE's commitment to the fans to provide a distraction in these important times. 

We see a compilation of past musical legends who have sung the National Anthem.

The montage to begin the show is rather different and seemingly comedic. 

The Kabuki Warriors (c) vs. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross for the Women’s Tag Team Titles

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross won and is the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Elias vs. Baron Corbin

Becky Lynch (c) vs. Shayna Baszler for the RAW Women’s Championship 

 Becky Lynch won and retains the RAW Women’s Championship 

Sami Zayn (c) vs. Daniel Bryan for the ICTitle 

Sami Zayn won and retains the ICTitle

John Morrison (c) vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Jimmy Uso in a Triple Threat Ladder Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles

Uso headbutts Morrison, and he falls off the ladder onto the bridge. He holds on to the titles and tears them away from the others.

John Morrison won and that mean Morrison &  Miz retains the SmackDown Tag Team Titles

Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens 

Rollins hits Kevin Owens with the ringbell. Owens won via DQ 

NO. Kevin Owens calls Seth a bitch and challenges him to continue the match with no DQ. 

Owens climbs up the WrestleMania sign and then launches himself off, and hits Rollins with an elbow through the announce table.

Goldberg (c) vs. Braun Strowman for the UniversalTitle 

Braun Strowman won and is the new Universal Champion.

The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match

Undertaker chokes AJ and then tells him to come here and hugs him. He is about to walk away but turns back and big boots him into the grave.

He dumps the ground on AJ. It's over. AJ is buried alive.

Undertaker's gong sounds, and then he removes the cloth covering the gravestone to reveal AJ's name on it. He then gets on his motorbike, raises his fist and there's huge pyro and he drives away on his motorbike.

Part 1 was pretty awesome and I enjoyed all the matches tonight.

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair for the NXT Women’s Championship 

Charlotte Flair won and is the new NXT Women’s Champion.

Otis vs. Dolph Ziggler 

Otis won thanks to Mandy Rose involvement.

Edge vs. Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing Match

Edge won

The Street Profits (c) vs. Angel Garza and Austin Theory for the RAW Tag Team Titles

The Street Profits won and retains the RAW Tag Team Titles 

Theory and Garza attack them after the match, and Zelina helps them, kicking Montez. Bianca Belair, the wife of Ford, comes in and hits the Kiss Of Death on Zelina. She then puts the torture rack on Zelina.

Bayley (c) vs. Sasha Banks vs. Naomi vs. Lacey Evans vs. Tamina in a Fatal 5 Way Elimination Match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship 

Bayley won with Sasha’s help.

The Fiend vs. John Cena in a FireflyFunHouse Match

The Fiend won 

Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship 

Drew McIntyre won and is the new WWE Champion.

The show ends with Drew McIntyre celebrating as WWE Champion.

Overall: I enjoyed WrestleMania in it’s entirety and I loved everything I watched.

SmackDown

The Usos stated that they'd be leaving WrestleMania as the SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Kofi and E are here to give them a reality check. 

Miz and Morrison finally come out while the Usos & New Day are bickering in the ring. M&M run down their accomplishments over the past few months, including defeating every single SmackDown tag team at Elimination Chamber. 

So Miz and Morrison decided to climb up some ladders while four of their rivals were sitting at ringside. 

Kofi is hit by an accidental superkick, forcing Big E to lay out the Usos. Miz & Morrison take advantage and toss E into the stairs before knocking out Kofi and Jey Uso with a ladder. 


Naomi vs. Lacey Evans vs. Tamina in a Triple Threat

Tamina won

Bayley tried to bring Tamina to her side, which led to a nasty superkick. Banks attempts the same thing and gets slammed with a Samoan Drop. 


We see replay of Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair in a Career Threatening Match - WrestleMania 24


Tucker vs. Dolph Ziggler

Before Ziggler can crush Tucker between two sets of steps, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville stop him. Otis runs out to break up the assault. 

Arena glitches out again before "The truth will be heard" again. A hooded hacker appears on screen and shows footage from Valentines Day where it's revealed that Sonya Deville was the one to send Otis the "I'll be late text". 

When Otis responded Sonya deleted the texts. Further footage shows Sonya conspiring with Dolph Ziggler to ruin Mandy's date with Otis. 

Mandy walks off, leaving Sonya crying. Dolph attempts to run and is nearly taken out by Otis. 


Daniel Bryan vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Daniel Bryan won via DQ

Inside the ring, Cesaro plants Bryan with the Neutralizer. Nakamura follows up with the Kinshasa. They then leave Bryan in the corner for the Helluva Kick. 


John Cena comes out.

“Now they can hear us talking," says Cena to the cameraman. 

Of course John Cena is the one to talk about this whole empty arena coronavirus situation.

As far as the Firefly Fun House match, Cena's not afraid of whatever that is. The Fiend, Cena says, thrives on uncertainty, fear, and panic. Cena's not afraid. At Wrestlemania, he finishes Wyatt. In fact, he says Bray Wyatt isn't even on the level below him. 

Cena accepts Wyatt's challenge before some creepy music begins to play and the puppets surround the barricade. Ramblin Rabbit says that once The Fiend is done, he'll be a part of the Fun House forever. 

The Fiend appears on the Raven's Perch and stares down Cena, who is scared by Bray Wyatt appearing behind him stating "Let Me In."

Decent show as we look forward to WrestleMania.

SmackDown

SmackDown opens with Roman Reigns making his way to the ring.

Reigns wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and talks about what the holiday means to him. Roman talks about how SmacDown won his Survivor Series match. He thanks all of his partners except Baron Corbin.

Reigns calls Corbin out and The King obliges. Corbin says he eliminated two people from the match and he should be thanked for his fearless leadership. The Big Dog says he will fight right now but Corbin doesn't want to take the bait. He brags about being a King and says Reigns should fight someone else who was victorious last Sunday, Robert Roode.

Corbin watches from the ramp as Reigns picks up part of the steel steps and whacks Ziggler over the barricade. He flips over the announce table on top of Roode to end the segment.


Mustafa Ali vs. Drew Gulak

Bayley and Sasha Banks come out after the break to address the women's division.
The Boss makes excuses about why her team lost at Survivor Series. The crowd chants "You tapped out" at Bayley. They run down the SD women's roster and blame everyone else for them losing. This brings out Lacey Evans.


Sonya Deville vs. Nikki Cross

Rose and Deville attack her after the match. Alexa Bliss' music hits and she runs down to make the save for her partner.



Big E and Kofi Kingston come out after the break and say they are opening their doors for business by offering a tag title shot to whoever wants it.
Sami Zayn comes out with Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura. He insults The New Day for promoting Black Friday. He says Cesaro and Shinsuke are going to answer the challenge and win the titles. This is going to be a good match.

Bryan comes out and says he went into Wyatt’s match knowing he might be changed. He says he realized halfway through the match that he had indeed changed, but it was the crowd who made him realize who he is, not Wyatt. He says he thought the Yes Movement was dead but the fans brought it back to life. He accepts Wyatt’s challenge by getting the crowd to do a Yes chant. Wyatt comes on the big screen and says The Fiend will show everyone who Bryan really is.
Wyatt comes up from under the ring and grabs Bryan’s leg. He pulls him down into the Mandible Claw and drags him under the ring. He pulls his hands out with a handful of Bryan’s hair. He goes back and pulls out more. He keeps going back under the ring to pull out more hair. 
The show ends with Wyatt laughing into the camera.

RAW opens up with a recap of Rollins burning down FireFlyFunHouse set.

Ric Flair comes out to introduce Drew McIntyre as the final member for team Flair.

King’s Court with the guest being Rusev.

Rusev claims that Bobby Lashley has poisoned Lana's brain and he will pay for that.

He still wears his wedding band and he prays that Lana will come back to him.

We see footage of Lashley and Lana at a restaurant.

Andrade vs. Sin Cara

The Viking Raiders vs. Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins

Rey Mysterio heads to the ring.

Rey tells the Cleveland crowd that he's been training Cain to beat Brock for his WWE Title.
And then he says thank you to everyone in the crowd and everyone watching at home, for supporting him and Dominik and his family through the whole ordeal with Lesnar.

Paul Heyman interrupts Rey via video on the Titantron.
He asks Rey if he would talk smack about Brock if he the Beast was there live?

Heyman tells Mysterio that Lesnar has been "salivating for revenge" ever since Cain defeated him in UFC.

Rey yells at Heyman in Spanish, but Shelton Benjamin comes out and is not happy.

Shelton reminds everybody that he's best buddies with Brock Lesnar.
Aside from Paul Heyman, there's nobody that knows Brock Lesnar better than me.

Beat up Rey Mysterio, get a championship opportunity?
Wait, that's... that's not how it works, Shelton.

CAIN VELAZQUEZ IS HERE!

Benjamin goes in for a tackle, but Cain isn’t having it. He throws Shelton around a bit, chin lock, and then tosses him out of the ring.

Seth Rollins vs. Humberto Carrillo

The OC vs. Street Profits

Street Profits won thanks to the involvement of Kevin Owens (which I assume was the mystery partner).



The show ends with Street Profits celebrating their win.
