SmackDown opens with The Miz in the ring. He looks around with a big smile on his face before telling everyone he can be louder than they are because he has a mic. He plugs Miz and Mrs. with Maryse and promises to win an Emmy for his show. Then he brings up Team Hell No's recent reunion.

Miz brings up the tension between himself and Bryan and asks if they can keep
this professional. Bryan says he won't punch Miz in the face after Kane talks
him down. Miz calls out the crowd for booing Bryan's attempt at being civil.
Miz asks if they are ready for Harper and Rowan before showing a video of Team Hell No's past issues.

Bryan calls Miz terrible at everything and calls him a bad wrestler. The Miz says
Kane will eventually betray Bryan and he is going to love watching it. He
claims Bryan knows he can't hang with him in the ring anymore and Kane has to
back Bryan up to keep him from throwing a punch. Miz calls Kane a broken down
demon, so Kane grabs him by the throat. Harper and Rowan's music stops him from delivering a chokeslam.

Before Harper and Rowan get to the ring, Sanity appears and attacks Team Hell No. The New Day comes out to help Bryan and Kane, turning this into a 10-man brawl. Sanity and The Bludgeon Brothers end up taking control and destroying everyone in the ring.

AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Rusev yanks AJ off the apron to cause a
disqualification. He rolls the WWE champion in the ring and holds him so
Nakamura can hit his finisher. Jeff Hardy runs to the ring before he can
strike.

Hardy clears Rusev and Nakamura from the ring to save AJ. Paige comes out on the stage and turns this into a tag match.

Asuka vs. James Ellsworth in a Lumberjack Match

Asuka won

Carmella attacks Asuka after the match and leaves her laying in the ring to end the segment.

Paige informs Ellsworth that he’ll be suspended above the ring in a shark tank
at Extreme Rules! Finally, maybe the match will be fair!

The show ends with Bryan trying to signal Kane's pyro effects. He fails the
first time, but it works the second time. Kane looks shocked as Bryan jumps up
and down to celebrate with a Yes chant.
