SmackDown Live

We see a video from earlier in the day when Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler arrived at SmackDown. They argue until KO throws a punch and it turns into a brawl. Several people are needed to break them up. Shane is shown kicking Owens out for the night. Owens has a bloody lip from the fight.

When we go live in the arena, Owens is shown dressed as a crew member. He grabs a mic and rants about his current position in WWE. He brings up the McMahon family promising to listen to the fans only to see Shane gain more and more power. Shane comes out and has his mic cut but he grabs another one. KO says Shane calling himself the best in the world is an insult to every wrestler.

Owens says Shane is taking up TV time instead of giving it to guys like Murphy, Ali, Asuka and Kairi Sane. Owens escapes through the crowd when Shane sends people after him.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Finn Balor

Shinsuke Nakamura won

After a quick promo from Samoa Joe, Nikki Cross comes to the ring for her contract signing with Bayley.

Bayley and Nikki Cross sit in the ring across from each other and Bayley says that she is glad that Alexa Bliss did not show up. Bayley says that she is a lot like Nikki as she was star-struck when she first came to the main roster.

Bayley reminds Cross that she attacked her last night.

Bayley asks her if she is sure of what she is doing but Cross says she's old enough to make her own decisions.

Cross says that Bayley has no idea about her and asks her to stick around for her match with Carmella.

Nikki Cross vs. Carmella

Nikki Cross won

Big E and Xavier Woods come out to deliver a promo. They are quickly interrupted by Daniel Bryan's entrance music.

Daniel Bryan and Rowan come out and say that much like they destroyed Woods and Big E last week, they are going to do the same to them again. Woods questions Rowan, asking him why he always comes out with a new leader - Bray, Harper, and now Bryan - and asks him who his daddy is.

Tucker and Otis interrupt Bryan and Rowan and remind them how they took them to the limit at Stomping Grounds.

Tucker says that the New Day will have to wait to be 6-time Champions, as Otis says they are going to be the new WWE Tag Team Champions while gyrating his hips.

Aleister Black is interviewed about Extreme Rules next to an empty chair. Eventually, Cesaro sits down to reveal he is the man who will face Black at Extreme Rules.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Roman Reigns

Owens comes out of nowhere and hits Shane with a Stunner. Reigns counters the Zig Zag and hits a Spear for the pin and the win.

The show ends with Roman Reigns celebrating his win.

Rating: 70/70

Great show and matches as we get closer to Extreme Rules.
