Apollo Crews won and retains the United States Championship 

Kevin Owens says that there are a lot of interesting things happening tonight, including the return of Shane McMahon. However, that's not what he will be talking about.

Ruby Riott is his guest on RAW tonight. 

KO brings Liv Morgan out to the KO show as well. 

Kevin convinced Liv Morgan to hear Ruby Riott out.

Ruby Riott says that when she came back she saw Liv thriving and that made her jealous, especially when Liv beat her twice. She said that she was not ready to come back to RAW without Sarah Logan and not being needed, she said that she was wrong. She shares their debut date tattoo and how their life changed. 

She asks Liv for a chance for the Riott Squad to be stronger than before. 

The IIconics came out and interrupted.

Kevin Owens tell the IIconics to go away. They challenge Ruby and Liv to a match tonight. 

Peyton slaps Kevin Owens. Billie Kay does it as well. 

Kevin has enough and looks to Ruby and Liv for a 'little help' and they immediately launch into attack.

In a report from backstage, a large number of boxes fell over. It appears that some Superstars say that the box falling over was causing some problems and that they were deliberate. 

Apollo Crews accepts MVP challenge for the US Title at SummerSlam.

Drew McIntyre came out.

Drew McIntyre is not happy with the way he was attacked by Randy Orton last week. He says he's motivated to keep the title and Randy Orton was motivated to take it. He compares his own position in WWE to Randy Orton's. 

Drew McIntyre says that unlike Randy Orton, he had no one backstage standing up for him. He got fired for his mistakes. He said that he's back now and that Randy Orton should have been fired way more times than Drew was. 

Randy Orton says that he enjoys Drew's fighting spirit.

Randy asks Drew to come up with an original opinion on Randy Orton. McIntyre says that Orton is everything wrong with WWE. 

Drew McIntyre says that Randy has never helped anyone backstage. He had taken all the help, but had given nothing to the rest of the WWE locker room. 

Drew McIntyre promises that when he comes at Orton, Randy is going to see it coming. 

Nia Jax calls Pat Buck a scrawny undeserving runt who could not cut the mustard in his own career. She says she could not see Pat Buck, but she will not apologize to him.

Instead challenges him to a match right now. 

Pat Buck is not happy with the challenge. She throws the mic at him and says say what you have to say. 

Pat Buck says that after her actions against a WWE official, Nia Ja was indefinitely suspended without pay.

Shelton Benjamin (c) vs. R-Truth vs Akira Tozawa for the 24/7 Championship

Shane McMahon is seen backstage. There are people apparently really fighting and says that at 10 PM EST, RAW will go Underground. 

Sasha Banks vs. Shayna Baszler 

Asuka attacks Bayley on the outside and takes her out. She also attacks Sasha and she tries to run away. 

Asuka talks about Kairi and says she will be okay, but she wants a rematch against Sasha Banks for the RAW Women's Championship at SummerSlam.

Shayna enters the ring and says that she is cheering for Asuka and she says that she will be cheering for Asuka the entire time. She will take the RAW Women's title off of Asuka once Asuka wins.

Sasha and Bayley come out and says that it's her RAW Women's title and not theirs. She says that she will give Asuka the match if she can beat Bayley next week. 

We see two people fighting backstage. Shane McMahon is seeing that a lot of interesting things are happening on RAW Underground and the announcement is coming next. 

Shane McMahon introduces everyone to RAW Underground. He introduces his next contest. 

A giant fighter of 7 feet tall, Dabba Kato. 
Dabba Kato immediately destroys his opponent, hitting him with fist after fist until the referee breaks it up.
The fight is done. Who is next? Another member comes in from the audience. Kato takes some kicks and hits the guy with an Anaconda Lock slam and pounds him with elbows.  Shane McMahon says he's the winner as the giant drags the fighter out of the ring. 

Angel Garza vs Angelo Dawkins

Angel Garza won because Dawkins got distracted with Montez fainting at ringside.

Montez Ford vs. Andrade

Ford gets in the ring again and promptly faints. A doctor is called, the match is stopped. 

RAW Underground is back and now Erik takes on another fighter. The Viking Raiders Superstar takes him down and then slams him before striking him again and again, kicking him off the stage. 

The guy is thrown back on the ring and Erik hits him knee after knee before taking him out.  

Angelo Dawkins reveals in a backstage interview that Montez Ford was poisoned before the match. Bianca Belair is having none of it and says that she is giving Zelina a chance to say what she did. When she denies it, Bianca attacks her and has to be held back by Dawkins. 

Security camera footage shows the masked superstars throw Molotov cocktails at an electric box outside WWE before the show. That explains the blackouts.

Seth Rollins comes out.

Seth Rollins says that Murphy and Seth Rollins have some housekeeping to tend to. Seth Rollin then addresses Tom Phillips to ask him some questions.
He asks if Phillips considers himself a professional unbiased journalist. 

He continues to ask what Tom Phillips was doing last week when Dominik Mysterio was attacking Seth Rollins last week. He says that Tom was cheering him on last week and that was not done. 

He said that the voice of Phillips matters. So he needs to do better and be a part of the Greater good

Seth says that Tom did a poor job and he had become a liability. He said that the time had come to find a new voice of Monday Night RAW. Murphy advances to take Tom Phillips, but Samoa Joe stands up for him and asks Murphy to go away, or he will beat down Murphy and slap Seth.  

Samoa Joe reminds Seth that he was laughing harder than anyone else at the table. Samoa Joe takes off his headset and it appears that he is ready to take on both men. He rolls up his sleeves and gets in the ring. 

Samoa Joe enters the ring as Rollins and Murphy with steel chairs intimidate him.

Before he can enter, Dominik attacks them both from the back and takes out Rollins and Murphy with Kendo Sticks, he takes out Murphy out of the ring and hits Seth Rollins with a 619 and a dive from the top to take them both out. 

Seth Rollins accepts Dominik’s challenge.

Dolph Ziggler is shown dominating another wrestler in the ring at RAW Underground.

Hurt Business show up there. Lashley gets in the ring. MVP says that RAW Underground is under new business with Hurt Business controlling it. 

Bobby Lashley challenges anyone, and a guy gets in the ring to be knocked out in seconds. 

Shelton Benjamin gets in next and someone insulted Shelton's 'mama'. He took out the Superstar and dominated him. They took out everyone in RAW Underground and stood tall. 

MVP announces they are the Hurt Business and business is booming. RAW Underground will be back next week.

It was an interesting show tonight and had some decent matches.
